This is why I won't invest again in a non-ICO project. They promote the idea "the more you buy, the more you get", then dev are selling their tokens, stop development of the project and you wake up holding a bag of worthless tokens. Sad, but true.

We should stop promoting this crazy old man. He is obsessed to get popularity and states a lot of stupid theories just to attract followers.

Lol, yes, MEW changes its face since several months.  As long as you access the legit website there is nothing to worry about.

Also, you can opt for using the old version of MEW, too.

It is not that difficult as Bitcoin has not been created to replace fiat money or national currency, but to bring a better alternative of centralized banks.

If adoption rate will increase in the future,  this will be great for Bitcoin and its supporters.

From my point of view, IEO is much better than ICO as it has at least 2 big advantages:
- projects are being verified by exchanges before IEO starts
- you know from the beginning the name of the exchange the project will be listed.

The most realistic prediction for Bitcoin is that nobody knows how the price might fluctuate in the future due to crypto market's extreme volatility.

It can go to 50k $ as many "experts" predicted already or it can go to less than 1000$ , as well.

Btc can have a huge economic impact in countries with hyperinflation.

For instance, the Bolivar (venezuelan currency) is hyperinflated. The people here tends to change the Bolivar for a stronger currency, most people change it for US dollars. Also there are a lot of people changing it for Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency) since even 0.000001btc has more value than 1 Bolivar.

Transactions are irreversible, so take care of security of your accounts and wallets.

Malware has become rampant in crypto. Do you have ANY plugins on your browsers or phone? Do you have any non-legit software installed? Any weird apps on your phone? Could be any piece of software or app, not even crypto related, such as stupid weather app or anything like that.

Could also be on USB sticks that you've bought online and used for your computer, SD cards, etc. Hackers are finding crafty ways to embed code that will allow them access to your coin accounts.

You should be more careful when choosing the projects to work for.

Most of the time I got paid for the work I performed as a bounty hunter, but I always do a lot of research and read all the information I find on Internet about these projects before I jump in.

Why would you look for online solutions, with all the risks associated? An online wallet can be more easily hacked than an offline one.

I would always prefer a hardware wallet (Ledger Nano s,  Trezor) thanks to its higher security.

IEO will be a much better alternative than ICO was in 2017.

During IEO the projects will be already verified by a 3rd party entity (Exchange), or during an ICO there are no additional verifications.

Before investing in any project you should take care of some key points:
- experience of the team in similar projects
- Whitepaper
- social media activity
- references on other websites/forums
Etc.

Bitcoin can have a great economic impact for countries with very high inflation rate. (see Venezuela).

In these situations,  their national currency loses much more value than Bitcoin did after a long bear period,  so it can be a good alternative.

BNB is just great, indeed, but don't forget that nothing lasts forever and Binance, as an exchange,  has a huge competition to fight against.

When other stronger exchanges will go on market,  BNB value might decrease,  so ... take care and don't invest more than you can afford to lose.

Real money are made during bear market,  as there is where wise decisions can bring you lots of cheap coins that can be valued when bull market is back. It's very important to always have an amount of cash/stable coins to hunt discounts.

Try to use LocalBitcoins. I used it several times getting good prices for btc and very low fees.

Also, they use an escrow,  to all transactions are safe.

You should stop believing all the stories on the internet written by different websites just to attract more traffic.

Ethereum has a huge utility and popularity, and it is improved constantly. It cannot be destroyed that easily, don't worry.

I am ready to invest now if I find good opportunities (important dips, innovative projects) but I am much more selective about the projects I choose after all what happened last year.
