btc is a failure and useless as a payment system governments are cracking down on btc trading ppl buy it as an investment and right now it looks like a shitty investment to make 1 bitcoin is only worth what ppl think its worth if you cannot USE bitcoin you better stay away and let those of us who understand the underlying technology , bitcoin is not for everybody :-D lol |

Glad we agree on the majority of these  I only suggested multi-algo so more than SHA256 users could mine it. Was hoping to get a gpu/cpu algorithm but while still keeping SHA256 as well. Also the proposals comment was written before the TEKcash name change was suggested but I didn't mean for any sarcasm there but do hope we get some new coin features  . Would be nice to have some privacy features or some new tech with the coin. But overall I just merely wanted to get other holders opinions as we're all in this together and wanted us to share our thoughts Hopefully we hear from the siacoin dev on here as well. I checked their announcement but didn't see where he mentioned anything about TEKcash yet. Multi algo is rather hard to implement. Might be something for down the road a piece. Changing the algo to something more cpu/gpu friendly, that I would back  I haven't spoken with Thundertoe in a while, but I doubt he will have an issue with his old baby being revived and revised. I definitely agree in toning down the POS rate, or alternatively, capping the reward like Hyperstake and Truckcoin have done. Shortening the interval from 30 days would be nice too, since more open wallets equals a more secure chain. Last facelift was in 2015, so it's definitely overdue I would leave the block reward as it is, and definitely keep the per block diff recalc, but having seen the chain stick to the point where presstab, Thundertoe, noise23 and I spent a week getting it unstuck, maybe put some safety features in where the diff lowers if no new blocks are produced in a given time. KGW not implemented yet? I predict max low is 8300-8400 - bitfinex - last hope support. None good supports below really - if it goes to 8000 its game over man Bitconnect dropped like a stone. At someone point Bitcoin could definitely collapse. But until then it's all just speculation. Maybe someone is dumping all the bitcoin profits they made from bitconnect. Maybe bitcoin will recover after they stop dumping. Oh is that what blew up the price? A Ponzi scheme collapsing? Man no one makes money on those things. the insiders did i bet :\ meh Yep. I would like to let everyone know I received my loan back in BCC. The site is a little difficult to work with at the moment so be patient. I had over $50k invested with Bitconnect so I happy to have received my capital back.
The BCC exchange is not functional, so you have to move your coins to another exchange such as:
Bittrex, Bleutrade, YoBit, LiveCoin, HitBTC, Novaexchange, and any others that trade BCC.
You could also send your BCC to BitconnectX.
I don't really care about the haters, I only care about the rest of us that invested. Good luck everyone.
Your 50k was given to you in BCC coins at 335 per coin average. That's roughly 150 coins that are now selling on other exchanges for:  $32 a pop. 32 x 150 is about $4,800 out of $50,000. The reason for halt of lending and exchange platform has many reasons as follow:
The continuous bad press has made community members uneasy and created a lack of confidence in the platform.
We have received two Cease and Desist letters, one from the Texas State Securities Board, and one from the North Carolina Secretary of State Securities Division. These actions have become a hindrance for the legal continuation of the platform.
Outside forces have performed DDos attacks on platform several times and have made it clear that these will continue. These interruptions in service have made the platform unstable and have created more panic inside the community.
Closing the lending and exchange platform doesn’t mean that we will stop supporting BitConnect coin. Closing the lending platform will allow Bitconnect to be listed on outside exchanges giving more options for trading.
We will keep working to make BitConnect coin available to merchant websites providing them API access to accept BitConnect Coins on their platforms.
Yeah them and every other coin that wants merchants to accept their currency. Also there have been reports that the bitcoin cash terabyte initiative (scaling BCH to TB Blocks) will be semi closed source which could be disastrous and will cost around half a million a year just to run a node is this what you had envisioned for BCH BeeCash has been hacked just look at the blocks :-D these n00bs don't have a clue ~ |
