The reason for halt of lending and exchange platform has many reasons as follow:

The continuous bad press has made community members uneasy and created a lack of confidence in the platform.
We have received two Cease and Desist letters, one from the Texas State Securities Board, and one from the North Carolina Secretary of State Securities Division. These actions have become a hindrance for the legal continuation of the platform.
Outside forces have performed DDos attacks on platform several times and have made it clear that these will continue. These interruptions in service have made the platform unstable and have created more panic inside the community.
Closing the lending and exchange platform doesn’t mean that we will stop supporting BitConnect coin. Closing the lending platform will allow Bitconnect to be listed on outside exchanges giving more options for trading.

We will keep working to make BitConnect coin available to merchant websites providing them API access to accept BitConnect Coins on their platforms.

Okay, we give! Exactly what address were those two Cease and Desist letters sent to. Further, who signed for the certified mailings?

And please tell us more about how there was continuous bad press during the months of BCC's rise.

yes. I am a fool and I am in the BCC trap.

May I know if any of you can send BCC out?
I submitted my send out request to hitbtc wallet.
But it is still pending. I could see it in bitconnect transaction page show pending.

How long does it take for those we sent out sucessfully?

Of course most of withdrawals are pending at Bitconnect.
Can you imagine a number of people trying to get their BCC in panic?
And understand them, so just stay cool and keep hodling.

I am really not surprised when i heard about this, it is expected. They gave more reasons why they are closing but they are just ALIBIS, they said they are giving back the investments but is there someone who already got his investments back or it is just a promise from an scammer trying to encourage the victim to trust him?

Liars said they are releasing our capital but I can't even access the wallet to withdraw my BCC. There is no way they are going to get away with this. They may think they can just freely walk away with our Bitcoin, but the law will catch up with them. The big affiliate marketers who have been pushing this scam on Youtube will likely also have to deal with the law. 

They are already on some beach somewhere where extradition is not allowed living a life of luxury as multi millionaires. They will wait out the statute of limitations in major countries and come back then, or just stay on those lovely tropical islands banging bad bitches and making it rain while sipping martinis on your dime for life.

I would like to let everyone know I received my loan back in BCC. The site is a little difficult to work with at the moment so be patient. I had over $50k invested with Bitconnect so I happy to have received my capital back.
The BCC exchange is not functional, so you have to move your coins to another exchange such as:
Bittrex, Bleutrade, YoBit, LiveCoin, HitBTC, Novaexchange, and any others that trade BCC.

Yeah them and every other coin that wants merchants to accept their currency.  Heck, even bitcoin is having a tough time being accepted as a currency on merchant website (not counting bitpay because that is just converting btc to fiat).

livecoin is overloaded ... can't access.

Try reloading a couple of times. It gets back up after a while. Bots keep trading there. I'd be happy to see them destroyed.

Why not just trade them on hitbtc?
