402  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS 2 BTC for USPS Money Orders on: February 04, 2014, 01:05:11 AM
Check with that Casio out  in alpine ( I can get the name if you want me too) I think they still cash them

As far as getting someone to cash it for you that will be an issue I have seen counterfeit postal money orders before
403  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS 2 BTC for USPS Money Orders on: February 04, 2014, 12:53:49 AM
As a warning I think there's a dollar cap per money order so you might end up with 2 or 3 vs 1 money order

When I got one from campbx there couldn't cash it because it was 1st thing in the am but my bank didn't blink when I took it to them

I also think that Indian casino out toward alpine ( grew up in the area) will also cash them with a photo Id as well

407  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Auction : KnC Saturn ~ 280GH/s Oct Batch1 on: February 03, 2014, 04:55:05 PM
your right they are .. however i'm getting 200+ on my overclocked and 185+ on my normal clocked ones.. the extra 80 ghs to me doesnt justify paying almost 2 times what a antminer does... if i'm going to spend the extra money i would much rather spend it on new equipment rather than used equipment. ..

and as i said before i was bidding because you were driving distance to me I ( am im sure im not the only one) tend to give preference to locals to whom i can see rather than risk unknowns. that being said I've bought from ninjatech before i can speak to them .. I know when they post an auction they would honor it vs what has transpired here...
408  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: KnC Miner Neptune Batch 1 - Ordered on day 1 on: February 03, 2014, 11:07:08 AM
not one but 5

there seems to be a rash of new people attempting to sell preorders for neptunes..

whats the likely hood that they all happen to get them day one .

i mean those sold out faster than smoocon tickets... and all these new guys just happen to have got them...  I'm already suspect about purchasing preorders as a general rule ( to many things can go wrong with no recourse of getting money back) but things like this just dont help the case for preorders...
409  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Auction : KnC Saturn ~ 280GH/s Oct Batch1 on: February 03, 2014, 11:03:21 AM
Lol.. busted.. valid question though.. so far based on how fishy this auction is so far.. this looks like a shill bid attempt to drive prices up.. besides blockchain wouldnt prove much since it can simply be right to left pocket transaction..

I cant get an antminer cheaper .. sorry guy ..

sorry that should say can not cant ..

I do have to ask though.. if the auction is still live .. why did you post the blockchain where you received payment for 2.4 bitcoins? That would seem to suggest that the item was not only sold but paid for as well .. so if someone bids higher ( you may get lucky but with the cost of antminers i wouldnt hold my breath ) do you intend to refund that other guy his money?

i was only interested because you were driving distance to me ( i'm in dc) but its not worth it to drive AND overpay ... momma raised fat kids not stupid kids

your right it could be ... but then why was it posted in the 1st place . him sending BTC to someone should have no bearing on this auction. now him receiving BTC after he post that he sold it to someone else........ that just happens to be for the same amount he said he sold it for ... its enough to make you go "hmmmm"

not to be the $$*%*$## of the group I only say this because i know a few people on an FBI cyber squad..
1 having and FBI case number just means that someone took a report not that someone is actually dedicated to working the case. .
2 based of past experiences the US attorney wont even take it seriously unless its over 50k

assuming that 2 is true than 1 may have better results however the odd work against you if its an international issue as 50k isnt really worth spending 100k in investigating ..

not try to be a jerk about it . its just how things go in cases like this.

If your serious and it meets the 50k threshold drop me a pm and i can suggest someone to you but in all seriousness I cant promise you results just that you'll talk to someone directly from the cyber squad ..

fact of the matter is GOV employees are lazy ..
