You can use paper wallets for receiving payments without importing the keys in BTC clinet first.

I imagine that rebuilding the database will fix this, but thats ages. Anyone have any suggestions? I have the torrent of the database that slush put up (I think it was him), so that may be easiest. If you let abe build the database itself it's faster. When blocks are imported, stop abe, start electrum. |

Well, thanks for explanation and warnings 1) I really don't like this feature 2) I am aware that seller has no rating, no identity confirmation, I didn't noticed disabled escrow but I am kind of adrenalin freak when it comes to buying from random strangers from time to time If it's a scam, It will be my fault. Is it possible for seller to enable escrow during the ongoing auction? If yes, maybe I should convince him to use it. |

In older versions of server, importing of blocks was just bloody slow. In recent version it is not importing at all. .bitcoin folder re-created from scratch MySQL database removed and created again Result is the same... |
