On the developer issue, so far no news. As others rightly said, that does not mean that other work is not being done - far from it. We can safely say that everything is right on schedule with regards to the D2D, and that this week is once again a busy one where we will be meeting local groups and businesses. We'd really appreciate it if you could all give us a hand on the virtual part of proceedings and promote continuously as well as mention that a developer is needed. Strictly speaking, the developer's main task will be to transit Muniti from PoW to PoS, as the backbone and pediment of the project has long since been done and dusted and proved to be as stable as a rock. You should contact micryon : he is the new dev for asiacoin (after the scam premine of the previous dev had been discovered) : he has perfectly managed the fork and asiacoin is a pos coin. I don't think he will accept to be the official dev for muniti, but he should be helpful. |

You only just catching on?  Let this thread die, along with the coin! Its a shame that the DEV hit all the right chords with this coin, then Fucked it big time. I learned a valuable lesson, as did many others. It did seem strange that the DEV was so inactive towards the end, he was probably in shock that he had got the right mix and the coin was going big time, ready to rival the likes of Doge and BC, and.... as only he knew at the time, he had screwed up his own good work... Im guessing (only gussing mind) that he was sitting at home thinking "Shit, I wish now I hadn't made the mistake of trying to rip everyone off" He could of made a packet just on donations. Its dead now, lets cover it in soil and call it a day. I sent some ac from poloniex to bter and the coins sent are not visible on bter : am I alone to experiment this problem ? (the sending from poloniex to my wallet worked perfectly on the other side).
Is there a way to see the transaction somewhere ? (The block explorer is not working, I believe the new one is not ready...).

You all need to donate as much as possible for the future of this coin, and I'm speaking more to those that have not yet.
Those that have seen their investment in AsiaCoin go from something strong to dead and back need to do their bit.
I donated 10,000 AC earlier but realise now that more is needed and my donation was not enough. I have just sent another 10,000 AC.

Poloniex is a really bad exchange, it seems no one remembers anymore they got hacked, they took the stolen btc from their (remaining) traders and they are still having problems every second day with uptime They are refunding the btc to the traders step by step and have been transparent with their hack. This is more than most others have done within similar situations. On the other hand I agree that their site is slow now, and there is no much volume ... and I hate the catpcha authentification process. For me it is a good step for muniti to be on this exchange. I have already sent a ticket to poloniex support and I will do it again. What would you do if your bank comes and says "oh sorry, we're robbed.. We will deduct the robbed amount from your bank account and give it back to you once we have enough.. Thank you "  ... Well in some way, this is what happened in 2008 crisis except they didn't give it back to us... : governements gave money to save banks, then taxes increase (of course this is some excessive shortcut to present things in this way, but there is some truth)... For poloniex, they made mistakes, but took responsability and made their best to compensate customers. I appreciate. |

I think I'm gonna finally leaving you guys. Like I wrote several times I wasn't anymore an asiacoin holder but I couldn't do anything but trying to support you with a little amount of btc, italian translations (if Maestro still needs them) and my words. Sometimes I wrote down some lines to try helping people gain faith in this coin again and I see that what you have accomplished is just astonishing. Now you fear trolls no more, you fear FUD no more. You exactly know what's going on; you're building a transparent and high-pro development like few coins can be proud of having. You know you will have to face the challenge about old investors possibly start dumping but I'm optimistic about this coin; it will pass through that with no harm. I think I'm writing this because I wanted to apologize. I realized I never did it before and I feel embarrassed; 'cause I was one of the few who managed to sell his coins before they had no value anymore. But I did it without really thinking about it...Probably I sold my coins to someone in here who just felt got screwed when exchange-sites shut down ac-trades. But I did it just because of an exciting/panic-state of mind...just said to myself "I have to sell"; didn't actually thought "I have to scam someone"...but that's what I did, didn't I? So...I just felt like shit for days guys. I even suggest to buy this coin to a friend...who wasn't able to sell them because "he wasn't as fast as me"  That's true; that's why, even if I was sure that this coin, with new devs, could revive and go really far away I told to myself to do not buy it again. I just don't feel deserving being part of your surely future great profits. So I'm really glad to see this community becoming a revolution in cryptoworld. I'm sure you'll go really far and I'm impatient to read a wikipedia page about what happened in this couple of weeks  Keep going through this path; and if altcoinherald shows his face here again, willing to write about a scam

Generally, when you win some btc with trading some altercoin, someone lose some on the other side : this is the game, excepting when the sum of market cap of the whole ecosystem is growing. Even when a coin manage to be really innovative and build a strong community and happen to be a good asset to invest, the increase in value bring some decrease for other coins : someone lose money. |

I believe there is some true potential in ac, the resurrection process is inspiring (both from the community building and from the dev team work).
that is because they all panic sold their AC at 20SAT... I was somewhat joking at the contradiction in people claiming AC is dead but still trying to attack it : someone who spend the time and energy to post in this thread doesn't really believe AC is dead and knows that it can reach a good market cap again. |
