401  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Betsofbitco.in login not working anymore? [SCAM] on: January 18, 2014, 02:37:04 PM
Who would trust someone running under a domain Betsofbitco.in ?

Trust nobody.

No dude, the solution isn't to be overly wary of cosmetic things such as domain names and to conclude that nobody is trustworthy. The solution is to put in the work and determine what's worth trusting and what isn't. There's no getting out of this: if you want to make smart choices, you'll have to do some thinking.
402  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Betsofbitco.in login not working anymore? [SCAM] on: January 17, 2014, 10:16:41 PM
Yes, I was one of the huge better on the winning side of this...

Well then see here and stop feeding the scammers.
403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitBillions GBBG on: January 17, 2014, 06:39:24 PM
Just remember, this means GBBG is GROWING and this is GREAT NEWS!

You gonna put this in your epitaph?
404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Betsofbitco.in login not working anymore? [SCAM] on: January 17, 2014, 06:36:38 PM
Well, they've been having problems for quite a while. Some people seem to see their coins after raising enough of a stink in their main thread; you might have some luck that way.

405  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitSimple. Looking for a dozen or so beta testers who want early access. on: January 17, 2014, 06:31:10 PM
BitSimple.  A simpler way to buy and sell Bitcoins
https://BitSimple.com

BitSimple is just about ready to go live however I would like to run a closed beta first.  If you are looking to sell some coins in the next couple days and are willing to deal with some (possible) some rough edges PM me for an access code.  The service is limited to US residents only (excluding the states of VA, CA, and NY).  We will be adding support for non-US residents in select countries starting next month.

Even better than a beta right now would be following at least the very basic steps of introducing yourself and your idea. See here.
406  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: bitco.in - Community Input and Feedback thread on: January 17, 2014, 06:19:17 PM
Not bad so far. Maybe consider linking relevant material in your point-by-point case for bitcoin for people who want a better understanding.
407  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Do you want use a stable crypto currency? Join Krypton Wallet. on: January 17, 2014, 06:13:48 PM
Listen, sweeping the issues pointed out to you under the rug and starting a new plugging thread is a particularly bad practice.

This isn't Disneyland, as much as some of the threads here might've given you the wrong impression. You'll need to address these problems.
408  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Minershare.net - Bitcoin miner shares [$4/GHs], KnC Neptune #1 batch on: January 17, 2014, 06:06:49 PM
Minershare.net - Bitcoin mining made simple. No hidden fees, no preorders*.

Minershare.net sells Bitcoin miner shares/mining contracts.

We currently provide KnC Neptune #1 batch shares, starting from 0.2%. Through our previous website http://mine.coinco.in we managed to sell shares mostly to our close friends, even though we made some profit for both customers and ourselves, we now have decided to take it to the next level with a new name, website and marketing.

Why mine with us:
  • No hidden fees, reinvestment fees. All we take is a 10% fee of total mined BTC
  • 14 day 100% money back guarantee. Your money stays in your unique payment address for 14 days, it is always accessible.
  • No preorders*. The miners have already been ordered unless specified otherwise
  • Daily payouts, free withdrawals

Our website:

User panel:

How buy shares:
If you don't have a customer number:
Go to the "Buy shares" section, choose a miner that has enough free shares for your needs and click on "Purchase". After that, you will be asked to enter your email and password (customer number is not necessary!). After the purchase, you are given an unique payment address and a Customer number which is used to log in. Please remember to write it down.

If you have a customer number:
Please use your customer number when purchasing shares if you wish to have your mining power merged into a single account. As soon as we verify the order (usually within 4 hours, never longer than 12 hours), we will add the invoice to your account.

For more details, please check out our website http://www.minershare.net.
Should you have any questions or difficulties, please email us: support@minershare.net (preferred), you can also call us: +358 (08) 2371 1134 (working hours: 12AM - 6PM GMT+2 Monday to Friday)

* No pre-orders as in we have already made the pre-orders. We are not asking for money to actually order the miners.

Best regards,
Minershare team

409  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GoldenTowns Game Is Accepting and Paying out in Bitcoins on: January 17, 2014, 05:53:42 PM
Why ponzi? You are not required to invest your money in the game. I haven't paid anything and after 1.5 months of playing I have 100% happiness city with population about 140 and I can earn some money now. I can see some ways to earn more but due to a huge amount of bugs and lack of support it is hard to play.

People made money (credit, points, whatever) off of you. Can you now make your own? What about the people who join after you?

If you're alright with sinking your time and attention into a scheme which may or may not every work out for you based on where in the chain you came along, I guess that's your business, but inasmuch as you attempt to string others along with a referral sig etc and ignore the ample warnings against the OP, you're part of the problem. Don't be that guy, eh?
410  Economy / Securities / Re: Cryptostocks Turnaround on: January 17, 2014, 05:44:30 PM
Do you suggest a better platform that doesn't have a ridiculous 50 BTC "buy-in"? Unfortunately, due to a few recent horror stories of fake companies scamming investors it is no longer accepted to sell shares outside of a service.

If you actually have something to offer, MPEx is your sole option atm. If you don't have something to offer, that's pretty much the end of that; you can work towards making your thing worthwhile, or else join the ranks of those who've tried to make it work somehow on any of the play pretend exchanges that have popped up and crumbled over the years. As you've noted, that doesn't turn out so well for anyone involved.

411  Economy / Securities / Re: Trading Platforms - Active Mining shareholders poll on: January 17, 2014, 04:03:46 PM
Moving on to splitting our brooms and making new threads to cover ourselves when our nonsense is called out, are we?

Colored Coins... that way if all goes to shit I can at least claim to have some of the first shares ever distributed in a decentralized manner using colored coins.

I like the idea of colored coins. However, it seems we would be beta testing colored coins with our shares. Is this a good idea? What if there is a bug? How will this get fixed. Is this a good idea to be beta testing with shares?

Decentralized solution that is in beta vs. a repeat of GLBSE/BTCT/Bitfunder/etc.

I feel more secure with the former, personally.

The divide is not about decentralization vs centralization. The divide is about shitty non-stocks that operate on shitty non-exchanges as opposed to actual businesses that trade on a real exchange. So long as what you've got is a bucket of failure, it will fail no matter what sort of wrapping you try to put on it.

Losing coins sucks. Continuing to hold onto your buckets of bullshit after the ineptitude of the operator has been amply demonstrated is nothing short of retarded. And in clutching your bullshit in an attempt to believe for another day that you didn't make a wretched, screaming, ugly mistake, you're adding to the mountains of shilly, uninformed but over-enthusiastic bullshit new people have to wade through in order to reach a single sentence of sense. You're not just screwing yourselves, you're slowing the progress of newcomers.

Learn some responsibility ffs.

This problem isn't going away.
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: A hack to steal steal your Gmail password? on: January 17, 2014, 03:59:05 PM
Protip: don't use password managers.

Please move this thread to scam accusations or somesuch; it doesn't belong in securities (there's a link lower right).
413  Economy / Securities / Re: [XXXProfit] IPO - Established, Profitable Business - Pays Every 15 Days w/ Bonus on: January 17, 2014, 03:53:08 PM
I can't say I blame you after looking around here but it's just unfounded

Nah, pulling the same old "I have this great idea but I can't share it 'cause the bad things might happen but you should give me money anyway and also I can't say who I am but here are some equally unestablished people who will say nice things about me" is right up there with the biggest indicators of scammery, and it'll continue to be so, no matter how many times your anonymous handle posts attempts at reassuring people with cooing.
414  Economy / Securities / Re: Cryptostocks Turnaround on: January 17, 2014, 03:41:26 PM
Why you can't invest with cryptostocks.

MP predicted the altcoin swarm, and everything else. One year ago.

417  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: January 15, 2014, 10:59:27 PM
Id just like to voice my support for coinjar.io

Im no fan of zhoutong at all, I still consider what happened with bitcoinica to be an ugly corrupt mess with him at the center of it all.

That being said, I have used coinjar.io frequently over the last 4 months and they have enabled me to pay off my house with my bitcoin investment.
Ive processed nearly 1/2 a million AUD through their site without any issues.

Good work coinjar.io

On the internet nobody knows you live in a doghouse?
418  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 15, 2014, 09:30:47 PM
Look, not saying you're evil or anything, I actually find some of your points to be valid. Just saying you have a financial incentive to post on here and bash anything that is not MPEX, and then plug it as well. I've seen it in the CasinoBitcoin thread, this one, and others. Nothing new.

I am paid to review these forums and post sense. Sometimes that means introducing people to MPEx, or announcing a service therein. Sometimes that means pointing out to people that they're not making sense, meeting standards, or whathaveyou. This is frequently met with hostility, as people do not like confronting their own mistakes. Often enough, the point has to be ground into the very earth.

It'd be fantastic if the former sorts of posts were all I had to do. Given the state of this place, and the shocking levels of idiocy particularly in securities, it's simply not the case.
419  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 15, 2014, 09:17:39 PM
If you're going to recommend people ignore/disregard someone, it helps to not quote them or to at least -snip- out the quote

True. Edited.

Yes, let's pretend that ideas that don't support our idiocy necessarily stem from evil. Just 'cause you're married to your trench doesn't mean newer and less idiotic people are inclined to be, as well.

While we're at it, let's burn all the books and pluck the stars from the sky, that none shall shine more brightly nor record themselves more clearly than Manny. And fuck bitcoin altogether, Manny shall simply edit out of the world that which doesn't tolerate his stupidity.

Except we're not a fantasy playing out in your head, this is life, and this is bitcoin, and it doesn't give one whit for your preference of comfort over truth. If you can't handle that, the answer is to dick around with table top games for a while or whatever, not to vainly attempt to squelch me.
