401  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] crowdsale.io scam ico site on: July 05, 2015, 05:28:17 AM
I sent 1 btc with 1.35 btc remaining and hit the ledger with .35 btc remaining. After my btc was confirmed .2 was still remaining. I got refunded, fuck this scam.

is the site crowdsale.io a scam or the coin/ICO/devs?
My opinion crowdsale is scam, also all coin where open ICO in crowdsale is scam too

Are you trying to suggest that crowdsale.io owns the coins they host ICO for? Otherwise, I can't see how you can label them as a scam. They are only providing a service and platform for those to host an ICO/crowdsale easily. Whether or not people invest in the ICOs is their own choice and they should be doing their own due diligence for anything they invest in.

As far as I can tell, crowdsale.io has not taken anyone's funds without owners' permission/knowledge but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this.

403  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Steam Wallet Credit, MTGO tix, PoE goods on: July 05, 2015, 04:44:50 AM
Steam Wallet Credit? can you increase my steam wallet balance or what?

Uhh... I believe there exists no way to transfer steam wallet credit from one account to another. Do you know of a method? Otherwise, I'll just gift the game. But if you know of a way, I'll gladly do it. If it is of no cost to me. Thanks for the reply!

One way to transfer steam wallet is by buying an item from the other user off the steam market. Although this will mean the buyer (person buying your steam wallet funds) will eat a 15% steam market fee. Also, this is somewhat risky because I've seen people get trade banned for these types of transactions but that is mostly because the funds used were obtained fraudulently. If your steam balance is safe (eg. isn't carded or used fraudulently purchased steam wallet codes) then it should be fine to sell steam wallet balance using that method through community market.

Based on the 15% steam market fee, it may make more sense for you to offer a flat 15% discount on your steam wallet balance to attract more buyers since you're essentially "cashing out" your steam balance.

408  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] crowdsale.io scam ico site on: July 03, 2015, 08:46:36 PM
It could very well just be the devs themselves buying up their own ICO coins. Can't exactly blame crowdsale.io for that as all they do is host the ICO by providing an easy to use medium for investors to invest their coins. What you decide to invest in should be your own responsibility considering how ICO scams are nothing new around here.
409  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain name: DomainHunters.org on auction!! on: July 03, 2015, 12:34:33 PM
Do I get full rights to the script used on the site?

And also, I'd like to know more about the hosting. Which hosting provider and which plan/packages.

My previous post wasn't a bid but to clarify my typo in my post prior to that one. But I may bid in this auction if you can answer my last two questions above Smiley

Thanks
410  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain name: DomainHunters.org on auction!! on: July 03, 2015, 12:20:25 PM
Sorry, not sure why I said 0.5 BTC, I meant to say 1 BTC, whatever the starting bid amount is.
411  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain name: DomainHunters.org on auction!! on: July 03, 2015, 12:19:34 PM
I would be interested in buying the complete site but I have to agree with peligro's statements. It is a bit misleading and counterproductive to only try to sell the domain name without the content when a good portion of the value comes from it's content/SEO. I personally don't think this domain on it's own is worth 0.5 BTC, especially if the content is forced to be ripped away from the site at that price point.

If you come up with a price for the full website, script, domain, etc. let me know. I may be interested.

416  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: My PayPal >> Your Bitcoin {Trusted} on: July 02, 2015, 11:12:20 PM
The risk you carry with paypal will likely be passed on to whoever the funds are sent to which is why nobody will likely want to exchange any amount with you. The funds you currently have, even though you claim it to be legitimate, will likely either get locked up or reversed by paypal at some point. The fact that you're making multiple accounts to dodge paypal's fraud protection means that there's a good chance you'll eventually get caught. And once those funds are in other people's accounts, those accounts risk getting limited as well. It would not be smart for anyone to trade ANY amount of bitcoin for your paypal funds.

418  Other / Meta / Re: My account masterzino is hacked on: July 01, 2015, 05:42:22 AM

If you're going to escrow account sales, especially for new users who don't know any better, you should help them do it properly.

Agreed, I could have handled this better to possibly prevent the account from being sold by the hacker. I'll no longer escrow account sales where I do not first secure and inspect the account first. My previous view on the matter was that I know some (albiet few) people, especially when it comes to account trading, are paranoid about having the identity of the account released to escrow. So based on that I assume the lack of details provided to me were because they rather not disclose the identity to me, and I respected that.

I believe I am definitely at some fault here for not offering/insisting on securing the account from the buyer. The PMs exchanged between the buyer, seller, and myself were very brief only describing the account rank and activity level as well as trust ratings. I'll definitely do things more securely in the future to help better protect both parties of the transaction since there is such a huge influx of hacked accounts being sold as of late.

I apologize to OP for not being able to catch this at the time of the transaction. Having escrowed so many account sales in the recent months since I started my service, I definitely should have known better. If the account bought by the user "Crypto Junkie" is revoked and given back the it's original owner then I'll be happy to compensate the 0.071 BTC back to him out of my own wallet since this is something I possibly could've prevented as escrow.
419  Other / Meta / Re: My account masterzino is hacked on: July 01, 2015, 04:37:40 AM
I can confirm that I did indeed escrow for the two users: Sold Sold (the seller) and Crypto Junkie (the buyer) on June 2

While I did escrow the transaction I was not given the opportunity to secure the account on my end. Checking my inbox, I never received the account details or the identity of the account. I was only asked to secure the BTC and the account was delivered to buyer directly from seller. I only held the BTC until buyer was satisfied where I released the BTC to seller.

I can provide more details/proof on my end if needed.
420  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30 x Desktop computers with high end components - Bulk shipping from US on: July 01, 2015, 12:46:45 AM
It's a pretty good deal for sure, the CPU is just on the low end and probably will be a bottleneck for the 290 in some games or applications. Still, you for sure can't build a similar system even with used parts unless you get really lucky with finding good quicksell deals.
