401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 06, 2019, 08:29:40 AM
South Africa lost the match, by one run Senurian has missed the fifty on his very first international appearance. Though he is not out the other end made Rabada losing his wicket made the match come to an end. Today's win will give more confidence to India on the upcoming matches.
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has seen furthest correction of all bull markets on: October 04, 2019, 10:06:40 PM
From Op and the growth charts of bitcoin it is clear that the 20 day moving avaerage were broken. Just on this we cannot predict the true market move. The change happens in no time, and also the market moves in any direction. Experts who have been observing the market so closely will easily predict the trend. From my view, right now it is experiencing normal growth with the market fluctuating with resistance above $8000
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: October 04, 2019, 06:05:28 PM
I never considered Litecoin as one of top coins. Except of ethereum I believe in Waves, Stellar and some other, but not Litecoin. So, I would never doubt in which one coin should I invest. Definitely ethereum.

Why did you never consider litecoin one of the "top" coins.  It has been ever since it came onto the scene.  Do you have any rational reason why or are you just saying that.  Tje developers behind litecoin has progressed crypto much more than that of waves or steller.  I would like to hear why you think that.
Difference of opinion can be seen among the users on different cryptocurrencies. Mostly people who have ethereum in their portfolio will also have Litecoin. In one way Litecoin was popular than ethereum as it follows the algorithm of bitcoin. Later with the smart contract platform ethereum made a big change over the market and this is where Litecoin fell to ethereum.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 04, 2019, 04:46:55 PM
A small mistake on dice made my wallet get emptied. Only mistake is that I didn't added an additional zero to the bet amount. Instead of 0.00005 btc I mistakenly placed 0.0005 btc. Further on the consecutive bets went for a double the value. This all of the sudden emptied my wallet. I didn't watched the wallet until the bet amount in the tab turned zero. Further watched the bet history and understood what big mistake I've done.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: October 04, 2019, 04:06:46 PM
The days of ico's were over, now it is good to invest on assets that are in the top order of Coinmarketcap. There are legit ico projects, but for some reason it is very difficult at this market situation to grow big. If you're going for ico investment good is to invest minimum amount. This is just to check the luck, and not to profit. If lucky it'll grow, and these days even the legit projects were flagged scam based on various factors.
406  Economy / Goods / Re: Gameboy Pocket for sale, if there is a market for that on: October 04, 2019, 01:32:47 PM
I have a Gameboy Pocket in good condition that I would like to sell but I am not sure if there is a market for that here. I have never sold anything on this forum before and couldnt find any previous gameboy listings.

Would anyone be interested in a Gameboy Pocket so I can create my listing and how much are they worth?
You need to give much more clear explanation about the product. If you give discounted price compared to the listed price on online stores your product will easily get sold. Also here most of the products were sold in exchange for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So, be specific to mention about the accepted payments.
407  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: myteamfx Scam Fraud Site?? on: October 04, 2019, 12:34:03 PM
Hi All,

I have found interesting website to myteamfx.com which allows to sent BTC and withdraw BTC, but whole this site looks as a scam. Because the only allow deposit and withdraw only via BTC.
Anybody have any info about this website? it is Fraud one?

Oleg
What's the prime need of using this website. From the quote you've mentioned it isn't clear whether it is an exchange website, forex website or some other form of wallet service. We can withdraw and send bitcoin, if that's the case we've got lot other trusted platforms. Just ignore it, let this be a scam or whatever might be. Never use it.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: October 03, 2019, 05:12:30 PM
Well, my friend, this is the reality of the bounty world. The price on the spread sheet of a particular token may be very high, but in the real grounds the price is very very low. This is just to attract investor to invest into their tokens.
Very few have turned rich even in the real life through bounties. This happens with users who are lucky to cash out by the previous altcoin season which gave a very big growth with almost every altcoins and tokens. Now after the IEO into the market large scale investors gain good out of it. Maybe if some good wind blows out marking an altcoin season we too might get rich out of the spreadsheet.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Bitcoin price increases suddenly. What will happen? on: October 03, 2019, 04:45:39 PM
From the past 6 months, the price of altcoins is fluctuating and the dominance of Bitcoin is kept increasing. Even it is showing any effect on the investment we made through IEO's. Now, most of the exchanges are like asking their base token for investments, as of now, only altcoins are facing this situation.
The dominance of bitcoin is strong above 67% while the ethereum dominance is found less than 10%
This year there isn't no big growth with most of the altcoins, very few altcoins grew high in value.
This year there was a big growth with Binance as it gets paired with more IEOs and gets launched.
As the exchange native token is paired for IEO launch, the growth of ethereum got disturbed.
If there is growth with bitcoin there'll be growth with altcoins to some range but not as bitcoin's
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not a bubble! on: October 03, 2019, 04:01:00 PM
Bitcoin is termed to be a bubble based on very few reasons.

  • Based on the bubble that happened with dot com and other similar schemes
  • These predictions over bitcoin were made perfectly based on past references
  • The growth happened with bitcoin in a very short time period
  • Lack of proper understanding about technology and the way the value moves

However until the growth that took place over 2017 it wasn't mentioned a bubble.
Experiencing such a massive growth critics came stating it as a bubble.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 03, 2019, 03:14:46 PM
It's impossible to happen in real casino since they all used a chips/token on their machine and etc wherein to able to gamble. But for me probably  there's a possibility that only cashier accepting bitcoin instead of the dollar ,because you know bitcoin nowadays are acceptable in different ways even in some fast food.  So in my view probably there's a possibility they convert bitcoin into chipz or token as well for all players who want to play using bitcoin on their casino.

Since you state that one can pay for chips or tokens with Bitcoin or fiat currencies, the impossiblity there is been erased.
So therefore, betting offline with Bitcoin is very much possible and can be practised in any offline casinos, cause its more like paying with it like the other currency.
The one thing that any casino owner, who wants to implement the use of BTC in his casino should look out for is if Bitcoin is legal in the country where is is sited. And also obeying all regulations abiding with it to avoid sanctions.

That's right, buying chips in the casino through Bitcoin using online transaction is possible. So if the casino will implement this kind of payment, then betting with Bitcoin through traditional casino could be a reality. The question is, does the casinos will take this gamble of having a volatile means of selling their chips?
Actually its already happening where Las vegas casinos do accept Bitcoin as been part of their payment system but sadly you can directly use up bitcoin but still a good adoption though.

About on casinos measure towards the volatility of crypto then who knows but for sure they are pretty aware with that.
Las Vegas might be having bitcoin acceptance on the casinos, because in casinos we pay and get chips. Further we use these tokens to play. This is simply a possible thing for the gambling industry, but similar way of usage isn't possible with other physical forms of betting like sports events.
Everyday more and more innovation is found on every industry, so if there is a plan surely it can be executed. As in the quote volatility will be considered big before the initial step taken for such an acceptance into casinos.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 12:50:33 PM
As per the latest, Google has reached Quantum Supremacy. Meaning it could potentially decode an entire blockchain and...
YOUR PRIVATE KEYS...
Blockchains are secured through elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), just like encrypted user data and website traffic. Now the issue is that ECC is NOT "quantum-safe" meaning that a quantum computer could theoretically decrypt a user's private keys and forge transaction signatures.
Is this the end of Crypto?
I don't think so, but I'd love to hear your opinions too! (Especially the opinion of a cryptographer)

source https://www.coindesk.com/what-googles-quantum-supremacy-means-for-the-future-of-cryptocurrency
From the article that I went through it looks like a hard thing for quantum computer to kill bitcoin. Quantum Computer performs much faster than other computers that are highly powerful. Also in the article it is mentioned we're far away from breaking the bitcoin for various reasons.

413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 02, 2019, 06:35:55 PM
~snip~

I hope Pakistani batsmen also make up their mind. The match is becoming tighter now and another wicket or two will make Srilanka the favorites.

Common Team Pak we need to win a home series after 10 years  Cool

I need five more 4s from Pakistan (Sri Lanka 26 and Pakistan 22 so far) and if they win that's better :-P
@Royse777 Hopefully you won your bet this is 2 successful chase by Pakistan in last five years 20 times they lost.
Yes, it is a winning day for Royse777. Pakistan has played good as the first match. 297 is really a big target to reach on the second innings. Pakistan from the starting had a good performance with every player contributing good. This is the reason for Pakistan to win the match losing just five wickets and few balls left in the innings.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is Sportsbet.io safe to bet? on: October 02, 2019, 05:12:47 PM
Op has requested for suggestions one and a half years ago. Now he could've found the trusted platform for his gambling needs. With the deposits he might have turned rich or could've lost everything. I have used sportsbet and Nitrogensports for sports betting needs. Haven't encountered any issues, and myself not a regular user, because I spend only on games that I am familiar.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down below $9k! Buy the dip now? on: October 02, 2019, 04:29:04 PM
There is good resistance at the price $8000, once it gets broken surely we'll experience the price touch $7000. As the price has moved above $8200 over the past two days we can expect the growth to happen in a gradual manner than falling back over the falling weeks. If the plan is to invest and do trading, it is the right time. If the plan is for long term holding then just have patience there is more chance fall in the price below $8000.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hong Kong Bitcoin Trading Volume Spikes to Highest Levels Ever Recorded on: October 02, 2019, 02:51:00 PM
Interest in Bitcoin seems to be booming in Hong Kong. LocalBitcoins recorded its highest trading volume ever in the city-state this past week.
About $13 million HKD exchanged in the last week.

Article source

13 million HKD is not a great volume for a rich place like Hong Kong. It's around 1.7 million in USD at the current exchange rate! I am sure some people are trying to safeguard their wealth amidst the ongoing protest because China can go to any extent to immobilize the protesters!

Bitcoin/cryptos are the only way to hide their wealth from the regulatory authorities who might intervene to seize the wealth of the protesters to keep them out of the entire game!
As mentioned, China government is very strong in their stand. This is very worse for Hong Kong, even after several opposition from human rights commission and different other organizations China stands on its decision. Surely Hong Kong needs to be supported more, and the increased trading volume happening with Hong Kong portrays the mind of common people securing their hard earned money.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 01, 2019, 11:21:53 PM
If the investment is made after understanding better about its growth pattern, then it isn't a mistake. Then one should have the patience as well as should be very careful while investing as you're new to the community. More scammers will attract with schemes that give very big multiples upon investing. Don't get greedy and fall as a prey. Think and do the right thing at the right time.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VIP Programs - Exchanges on: September 30, 2019, 09:36:44 AM
Whats the best VIP channels or programs for exchanges?
VIP programs were available with each and every exchanges. You could signup on websites and get to that access, these VIP programs were availed when we make a bigger volume of trades. If you are looking for Telegram trading signals, you'll get to join more Telegram channels and most of these channels were truly an approach to scam people who are new to the cryptocurrency.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: September 30, 2019, 05:03:03 AM
Myself prefer money line betting as I bet only on selected matches that I was familiar with good data in hands. For this I just go with the odds provided by the gambling website. This is perfectly a win or loss bet, and gambling is all about acceptance. Before wagering we need the mind to accept loss and win, without that should not spend and feel further. We can't expect big payout with this type of betting.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IAAF DOHA 2019. on: September 30, 2019, 02:53:58 AM
I'm watching this competition, but I don't bet on athletics events because I'm not expert in these sports.
Today we saw womens 100m final and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won it easily.
There is new quite interesting even in this championship - mixed relay when man and women running at same time -it's fun to watch.
IMO, Doha was terrible choice for championship. Conditions for athletes is terrible - 40°C degrees temperature and huge humidity and they have to held events at night. And stadium is half empty on this championship.
But it's all about dirty Qatar money. And I'll just remind that next football World Cup will be held in this country :/
For athletes from countries where the climate is entirely different will be facing difficulty as their body conditions won't suit easily. The Oil money is the one that makes it, and if this has been conducted in some other countries it would have attracted more people watching it. People doesn't even know such a Championship is going on in Qatar, and this is due to the lack of promotion. Maybe this will be the initial step to slowly promote the final world cup match scheduled for the next season.
