It's wise if we will based our discussion on the stats. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/capelca01.html
Check the stats and we shall see that Capela is a good center. In the last 2 seasons, he averaged a double double, so that would tell already that he is a good center. And also remember that he improve his pts average from 13.9 to 16.6... and this is an extra, he has at least 1 block per game.
4002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: September 30, 2019, 05:18:26 AM
Its not exactly as changing bets but almost same changing mind in playing
That's different as here you are still playing and you are still making a decision, and its just sad that you make a wrong decision, and of course who would have seen the outcome, this is gambling its a guessing game.

I think the topic is more applicable on sports betting here you have already analyze and you think that bet will win but then you suddenly changed it.
4003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: September 30, 2019, 05:00:01 AM
Don’t make sense at all, what if one time(though I know won’t happen surely) that gambling was totally banned and won’t ever exist again!then what will happen to these currency?

That's a possible risk as well, but I think most gambling sites that offers their own token are registered so it the possibility of getting ban is very low.
Unless they commit fraud or violate the rules and regulations they need to comply while operating.

I get your point mate but it wasn’t necessary needed because why need to create a separate currency when we can used multiple coins with multiple function?

With you idea, now I can see why there's only less people who trust a gambling sites with their own token than the traditional crypto gambling sites.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/255530/Erik-Spoelstra-Heat-Agree-To-Long-Term-Extension
Quote
Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat have agreed to a long-term contract extension.

Spoelstra is beginning his 12th season as head coach of the Heat, replacing Pat Riley in 2008.

Spoelstra had just one season remaining on his existing deal.

It is a good decision by the management to keep him and gave him a long term contract?

He brought the Heat to the Championship but that was the time when Lebron was still playing, after that, heat struggles in the playoffs and even miss the playoffs during the last season of Wade.
4005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: September 27, 2019, 04:54:58 PM
It is hard to say what will be the next of this market as even the famous experts are becoming fool of this bearish trend due to their positive expectations but its just make you to be disappointed again and again losing your money therefore there is nothing we can do but to constantly monitoring the market movement and hope for the best of our future investments.
The fact that we can't predict what will be the future of crypto, we all just in the market speculation which we could say not really it happens. What we have now is to enjoy what the market it was, we're not supposed to put some ends as the development will continue.
Actually, there is nothing wrong to expect more but what it happen if we failed again, are we blaming our self? Definitely not, cause either we like it or not, the market will decide not us. It will be good if the market will change its current trend and turning back high again.
4006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen after cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2019, 04:34:52 PM
I think physical money will transform into digital money because we have the technology which still develops and growth. But unfortunately, digital money is not created by the government, and that will have much contradiction from the governments. Bitcoin has a chance to be the digital money in online and offline life, but if the government does not approve the existence of cryptocurrency, then it will go to the dream only. But we already see that some merchant has accepted cryptocurrency and they use bitcoin as the new option of the payment method.
Fiat will still remain as I think, fiat will still be valuable. For the case that cryptocurrencies are only applicable to online transactions, it is no doubt that a lot of people will still be using fiat. Of course, we don't have a real crypto coin, they are all in a digital form not unless if all establishments will run into this but I know they don't.
I only just thinking that crypto will lead to all online transactions, that would be enough and to be considered (fully) as a currency is a big achievement for crypto.
4007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: September 27, 2019, 03:30:57 PM
i don't know what on earth would trigger the bullrun in the alts. i think we have seen enough of this bloodbath there is about 8 month left in the bitcoin next block halving and still market condition is not improving. is there will be any improvement in the alts or they all will die

Hard to say that its been 2 years of bear market when just a few months ago we saw bitcoin (along with altcoins) rocket to the $13,000+ level. It's just a cycle that we need to go through until higher lows are created. Eventually the true potential of bitcoin and crypto will be realized anyway and we as early adopters will be very happy then. Just hold and be patient boys, hodl and be patient.
That's supposedly we just be happy cause we've got this price too far from the price its started. That could be sad for those investors you invested crypto last 2017 bull run cause they will definitely suffering great losses until now. I don't how long they could hold their patience and really be long enough to see another ATH again. Hope this coming halving could help but not really that sure for it.
Anyway, we just be positive for that.
4008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you ready for the next ride on: September 27, 2019, 03:08:00 PM
We all are waiting for altcoins season to start. The year of 2018 was very bad for the whole crypto market. But when 2019 started, it started showing positive news for the market. But only bitcoin surged in price and this continues so far. And I believe the next time is for altcoins and we are always ready for it.
Just keep your faith mate tightly. You may be right or wrong but still, we have to accept whatever the result of this.
Though it is quite difficult to think for the market to have another ATH this year and still we can't be sure next year but it keeps in my mind not to be really disappointed. And I know there is no reason why we have to complain. Nothing to be fear of what will happen next, only we have to do now is ot get prepare for the next round.
4009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra currency basket proportions! on: September 27, 2019, 11:32:32 AM
The Libra currency basket will consist of 50% of US dollars, 18% of euros, 14% of Japanese yen, 11% of British pounds and 7% of Singapore dollars.

What do you think about such proportions?

How about sharing the source of the information.. I'm interested on this project and I'm optimistic on the success of its launch.

I think that now all these details are not important. Now the most important question is whether the libra will exist at all! They have difficulties with regulators and this may prevent the project from creating its own product. will see what will happens

They have difficulties but we never read a news that its impossible for them to comply all the difficulties.
They have the will to change and contribute int he crypto space, and they will become a big player here so I guess our support and being optimistic would help.
4010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 27, 2019, 11:18:56 AM
Which team do you think will win in the coming season NBA finals?

According to the site, https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2019/7/8/20685074/nba-championship-contenders-2020-ranked

They predict "7 NBA championship contenders, ranked" and the lists are:

1. LA Clippers
2. LA Lakers
3. Golden State Warriors
4. Philadelphia 76ers
5. Milwaukee Bucks
6. Utah Jazz
7. Houston Rockets

Do you agree that nets are not part of this ranking, and Rockets being the last in ranking?

The Nets without KD is not a title contender that maybe the reason why analyst did not put the Nets on the list, Kyrie Irving can't do it alone, we have seen that last season with the Celtics.

ROcket's chance is slim and it depends on how Harden and Westbrook would jell. If the output is positive on the first ten games of the Rockets then that list would change, Rockets would be next to the Lakers IMO.
Make sense not to add Nets because we all know that KD is still out with his injuries.

Maybe the one and two position can interchange, Lakers with Lebron and AD on top.

Milwaukee should be number 4 though in my opinion, they still have the reigning MVP and they could definitely improved a lot this year.

Houston still depends on those two, Westbrook and Harden, if they started to blend early, they could be contenders as well.
Philadelphia 76ers should not be in the list, maybe it's wise to add Blazers as they were also a good team, if they have their center fully healthy this playoffs, they are also a good contender. Nets is not included because although there is a chance that Durant will be healthy again but its the nets shutting him down for the next season.

This is a new one - https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/09/nets-kevin-durant-out-season-expectations
4011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: September 27, 2019, 09:27:06 AM
There are plenty of gambling related cryptocurrencies out there. The question is which online casinos accept them. I don't see the point of these coins when most crypto casinos accept BTC and a small handful of other large MC crypto.
If the gambling sites will generate their own coin for gambling purpose only it is not usually accepted to other gambling sites, unless they will become so popular that the demand of coins will increase significantly.

As of now, I haven't seen any gambling sites that accepts a gambling token from other sites, but we can make a prediction with some basis.
For example, BNB is own by Binance exchange but as their popularity increases, other exchanges are listing BNB in their platform, so I guess it could happen in the gambling setting.
4012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 27, 2019, 09:00:57 AM
Emotions are the devil that will lead us to regrettable decisions in gambling, if we are not good in controlling our emotion, then gambling for you would be a high risk activity. The fact that majority of gamblers are losers of there's only a small chance of winning int he long run, we might end our journey very early if we get aggressive and failed to control our emotion.

Remember that we are dealing with money here, one little mistake might cost us big money, and its proven that when you are emotional, you make wrong judgement most of the time.

1. LA Clippers
2. LA Lakers
3. Golden State Warriors
4. Philadelphia 76ers
5. Milwaukee Bucks
6. Utah Jazz
7. Houston Rockets

I have no real problems with the other six. Remove the Jazz and replace them with the Nuggets. What the heck is the writer of the article thinking when he said the Nuggets were overachievers last season? I like Donovan Mitchel and Mike Conley but the guys from Denver are still superior as a team.

It's quite strange to see the Spurs not getting picked as a contender.

I don't like Jazz too, they are not consistent, but with conley and Bojan Bogdanovic being in the team now, I think this will be a different Jazz.
They have a good point guard now who brings success on the Memphis with  Gasol and Zach Randolph, now he brings his talent to the Jazz which is also a defensive team, I think they really have a shot this coming season.
4015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: September 26, 2019, 09:36:30 AM
I really don't think that we are in heavily bleeding. It sometimes we took some consideration that the market will turn like this (bearish) and like that( bullish). If we are worried about the two, we are not supposed to be in crypto cause it only gives you a headache.

I would say give it time, and alts will rise again. This seems like a sudden market reaction of the sort that can quickly reverse. Being optimistic, there is a chance that alts recover quickly from this and that upwards momentum carries us forward into a real alt bull run. I don't think thee's much to be worried about at the moment.
You're just really an optimistic person which some of us never holds such behavior.

4016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you guys think about this 2 alts? on: September 26, 2019, 07:31:51 AM
Xtrabytes and Safex?

Can you be a little specific which safex you are referring here?

I've seen to project with the same name.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/safex-cash/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/safex-token/

And I also remember in the past there's a project name safex that was delisted from Bittrex and its volume are slowly dropping, don't know which of the 2 or it was also delisted in cmc.
I think it was the 'token' while the 'cash' doesn't have any other information base on CMC. It has a huge market cap but the volume is dead @ $1,186.

Same goes for xtrabytes as pointed out by panganib99. Instead of investing to both of them or any of them, choose wisely.
These two coins/tokens aren't providing good market volume and therefore, we can't expect to have ROI from them. Investors will never turn their heads into like these coins, not we called it shitcoins/tokens but it almost near into that.

And I choose wisely not to put my money with them, it is preferred to be to have those names that already establish good market history and seems to have a big market potentials.

Nothing needs to trigger it, it's all human psychology cycles. When the fear and the desperation is gone, when we have shaken the weaker holders out. Then it's time for next altseason imho. Percentually most of alts will probably die off, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't have even more newer altcoins on the green on the next run though.
What OP's reaction is really desperate and it brings him into great fear where he can't think and decide for the best thing. Emotion is the first enemy as of being an investor or holder, and most likely this is a reason why people turn into panic selling once they hear bad news. Altcoins don't have strong market support for now as most investors are focusing on Bitcoin but we don't close the door for altcoins for a big surprise.

4018  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe is against Libra. Who else? on: September 25, 2019, 10:08:07 PM
There are a lot that are against Libra but it doesn't mean Libra won't be successfully launch.
When they show what they can offer to the world, of course these regulators are looking in the legal aspects and the impact of the economy, if it will threaten the government own financial system, they would be against it and therefore they will request for amendments to comply with their rules because they will sign it.

I think which such a big company, Facebook are going to push with their product. I mean they already hired some lobbyist, so they are ready and will flex their muscle and really get their product on the market.

Thing is, the government will never approve Libra if they won't be able to control it, they aren't called regulators for no reason, they should have control in any company they will regulate.

This will be a continuous battle though, they could deflect the issue here, but it still boils down as to how they are going to response with regulations and put it under the control of the government.
At this point, their enemy is the government and not us crypto adopters. If the Facebook company wouldn't like to follow the rules and government policy, they can't be successful as it for sure the Government will look into them because they have a name already in the community. I believe they could do it and to prove to us that Libra could be one of the great coins in the market despite of some countries that are against them.

4020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: September 25, 2019, 04:47:53 AM
All that is clear, but there are many projects with all the above factors that still make investors lose. Quarkchain is an example, listed on many large exchanges, good volume, .. but the price keeps falling even when the project is implementing the mainet and conducting a buyback.
At least the project tried their best to give good results, if it's really a good project, I think the dump is not a problem, instead its an opportunity.
People usually judge a project outcome in a short period of time which for me is wrong as all project are focus on long term development, market hype will give good ROI but not every project is hype, so things like this is possible, what we have to do here is just to be patient and hold as like I said, it will eventually rise in the future.

One thing also, consider the market situation, when majority of the coins struggle, that means we are in a bad market condition.
