4061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: spend P2SH redeem script with Unlock Time.BOUNTY of 1000 $ for solution to work on: June 06, 2023, 04:25:27 PM
Option 1: whoever has access to 39QWbnkbcPFcrJFEB6yvVDc12eX5zqVt3y can create a new transaction.
Unfortunately, the "7140000 locktime" isn't the transaction's locktime but the locking script's.
This goes above my head... Does this mean someone created an input that's impossible to spend this century?
4062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: spend P2SH redeem script with Unlock Time.BOUNTY of 1000 $ for solution to work on: June 06, 2023, 03:02:45 PM
i have read that poolin pool have broadcast in the past...non standard tx with hight fees as compensation
That might have been an uncompressed Segwit input, that's different.

Quote
if you try to put signed tx on the site for broadcast i have error 64 no final
that error is for "lock_time": 7140000 ...this number is not possible change more
is there any solution?
Option 1: whoever has access to 39QWbnkbcPFcrJFEB6yvVDc12eX5zqVt3y can create a new transaction.
Option 2: if you own 3QNHG5gAs2pfLFQUsNnoCh8UjHoX9cZBEa, you'll have to wait about 125 years (and hope the owner of the sending address doesn't move the funds before that).
Option 3: petition for Bitcoin to mine blocks faster.

So, what's the story behind this transaction? Someone's pranking you?
4063  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Kraken DCA Bot on: June 06, 2023, 01:16:52 PM
Is there a way I will maneuver or stop the bot DCA process and then manually buy with my remaining let's say $450.
Just place a manual order, after that, the bot will be out of funds and can't buy more.
4064  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 06, 2023, 12:48:04 PM
I thinked first it was best to have same adress for all my things on Bitcointalk since on the profile you can add your bitcoin adress for some saftey reasons.
I prefer to give each unique address a unique label. Example: "loan repayment from Rohan Kotkar". That makes it instantly clear who paid for what.
4065  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 06, 2023, 09:41:20 AM
Before I decide on this Flag, I've noticed another problem with this scam accusation:
Loan Amount: $55
~
Bitcoin Address:   35DsfVUcgHXPier5sAYiVPWrcKfZSnr68Q
Please pay back BTC worth of $61.38 to wallet bc1qlvjpqyv26eg7ar6sxzv9dfedcp2hcgnwr9f4p5 not later then 14 days (9 May 2023)
Received.
Will repay on or before 09/05/2023.
Address bc1qlvjpqyv26eg7ar6sxzv9dfedcp2hcgnwr9f4p5 has received 16 payments since the start of this loan, and (apart from mentioning amounts in dollars instead of Bitcoin) there's no way for me to verify whether or not one or more of those payments came from Rohan Kotkar. Needless to say: this could have been avoided by using a unique address for this loan. We're using blockchain evidence, so screenshots are meaningless.
4066  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 06, 2023, 09:25:36 AM
What one of this should I use
This: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5455027.0
Flags can only link to a topic, not to a post.
4067  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 06, 2023, 09:16:44 AM
@examplens, @Avirunes, @GazetaBitcoin, @FatFork, @NotATether, @Poker Player, @AHOYBRAUSE, @CYBER_COWBOY: the Flag links to the wrong topic and thus shouldn't be Supported.
@CYBER_COWBOY: please create a correct Flag and replace the link in this topic.
4068  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request Support (or Opposition) for Flags here! on: June 06, 2023, 09:02:32 AM
This is the wrong link. But the Flag itself links to the wrong topic, so it can't be Supported:
Creating or supporting a scammer flag is actively affirming a set of pretty clear fact-statements. If someone knowingly supports a flag containing incorrect fact-statements, then that is crystal-clear abuse, and I will seek to have such people removed from DT ASAP.

Update: I just saw you knew this already.

4070  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stake flags for ponzi schemes here on: June 06, 2023, 07:29:18 AM
So Timelord was downgraded to DT Strength -4
Make that DT2 Strength -5. I try to be conservative with Trust exclusions (and negative feedback), but this guy has shown to be unfit to be on DefaultTrust far too often. He's built a forum carreer linking alt accounts, and it turned out he doesn't understand the difference between an exchange and a wallet. Unbelievable!

Yes, he was downgraded. But he left red trust on my feedback (why?) and added another trust (neutral, accusing me again).
This is a bad, bad thing.
Don't worry about it. This is exactly how the Trust system is supposed to work: users who leave incorrect feedback have no business being on DT. Exclude him and move on. This shows how little Untrusted feedback matters.
4071  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists? on: June 06, 2023, 07:18:27 AM
Bump with an update that will also count as my Reference link for neutral feedback:
~Timelord2067
I've hesitated to exclude this user for a long time. That moment has arrived: he's too stubborn to admit he was wrong leaving negative feedback to 2 users while he was on DT2. Even after locking his topic and adding neutral feedback (with the same incorrect claims) he hasn't removed his negative feedback. It's unfortunate he removes the importance of all his good ratings by leaving ratings that are objectively incorrect.
4072  Other / Meta / Re: [Script] Imgur to TalkImg - automatically fix your broken images on: June 06, 2023, 06:48:16 AM
Is that a 138meg .gif   Cheesy     As awesome as I think memes are, I think we can leave behind file formats from 1987 (36 years old in 9 days) that have been superseded.  Definitely deserves a cap, Imgur I had thought did this a while back but not retrospectively perhaps; probably its showing up as an disproportionate load to bear.
The fact that it's 36 years old and still in use, means it's a good thing to keep. I recently tested it, and for the right images it still produces smaller files than .png. So let's keep .gif Smiley
4073  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Exchange holding my funds (1.25 BTC) hostage for 45 days already on: June 06, 2023, 06:37:30 AM
The reason why I deposited those funds into their exchange is because at some point I was planning to sell some
This is exactly why so many people have been warning against this for so long! "Not your keys, not your coins". Keep your coins in your own wallet, and when you want to sell some, only send that amount. Apparently this can't be repeated often enough Undecided

And do you have any advice for me who to contact to speed this up?
There's blockchainwallet, but they're not very active. I have the guy's email address, but last contact was more than 2 years ago.

That's GREAT! So why is Bitcoin dropping? Binance is the opposite of what Bitcoin needs.
4075  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lending board liar - Timelord2067 on: June 05, 2023, 02:54:56 PM
But do you think you're correct for leaving him a negative feedback and flag? how much money he has scam you? what's sign if he will scam anyone? I oppose the flag you create because I don't see he will scam anyone.
I've Opposed the Flag too. This is in no way worth a Type 2 Flag.

@OP: Please read Trust flags, and after that, consider withdrawing your Flag.

As for your feedback:
Quote
Liar and fascist. He Launches false and irrational accusations, and deletes the messages that deny him.
You seem angry, which I get. But don't let it cloud your judgement. Please read my guide to correct use of the Trust system. Retaliation feedback makes you look bad, while you had a pretty strong case. I tend to take feedback without name calling more seriously.

Thing is, whatever HedgeFx is saying is true. Not only did Timelord2067 launch a campaign of fake accusations against HedgeFx and me, he also tried to censor us and many other members of the forum by deleting our posts in a self moderated topic. On top of that, he still has not removed our red flags, at this point this is pure abuse of the rating system and he most definitely deserves the same.
If you remove the last part, I completely agree. But retaliating with Trust abuse is not the answer, excluding him is. Then, leave neutral feedback with facts only.
4076  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Recovery - Send your (encrypted) recovery phrase to 3rd parties entities on: June 05, 2023, 11:24:01 AM
Is it possible that if a user has enabled the recovery feature, and has his/her data held by a third party, then it's probable that a government entity could issue a written order telling the third party to give them access to then user's coins/savings?
Yes, absolutely.
The question is now which government will get to your coins first Wink But that's not even my biggest concern: what are the odds 2 out of 3 "seed storage facilities" will get hacked, leak data, or have an inside job rob users? If this takes off, there are billions of dollars worth of crypto to steal.
4077  Other / Meta / Re: [Bitcointalk Party - Discord sv] Bitcoin Pizza bake-off contest! Enter by June 1 on: June 05, 2023, 10:29:29 AM
Guys, which @LoyceV and @JayJuanGee pizzas? What are you talking about?
The last (and only) pizza I posted was 3 years ago. And I didn't even make it, my wife did.
4078  Economy / Reputation / Re: LoyceV's reputation thread on: June 05, 2023, 09:57:28 AM
I've been called things that are too good to forget, but never kept an overview. I'll start now:
you are vengeful and vindictive. I hate you.
you have worn rose coloured horse blinkers in this forum for quite a long time now.
(quotes may or may not have been taken out of context)
4079  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] SMF patch for user topic list. on: June 05, 2023, 09:54:34 AM
I think a logical place for it to go would be here:

(Sorry I can't be more help than that, maybe if you send theymos a PM he'll do it for you.)
That looks good, but I won't bug theymos for this. Let's assume Admin reads Meta topics Smiley

  • Select Wallet.
~
the exchange uses THE SAME WALLET for all transactions.
If you don't understand the difference between an exchange and your own self-custodial wallet, you should not use on-chain data for making accusations.

Quote
are you absolutely certain that the exchange uses THE SAME WALLET for all transactions.
I don't know. And it doesn't matter. It's safe to assume the forum users you're accusing didn't make 6.4 million transactions and don't own $49 million in TRX.

Timelord2067 was removed from DT2 again. I can't easily check who did it, that's for next Saturday.

@Timelord2067: my advise: stick to the clear cases. You've left many good feedbacks but those won't matter much if you pollute them with bad ones.
