Dann sind es auch keine Gewinne. Ein Gewinn ist nicht koennte, sondern der ist Zustand. Alles andere ist nur Traum oder Fiktion.
Er ging vom Buchwert aus... Allerdings sind Buchgewinne noch keine echten Gewinne... Das hat der Typ neulich mit seiner 8000BTC Order auf BTC-e auch erst schmerzhaft lernen müssen  Na also... jetzt noch auf 0.8.7 warten und die Sache ist gegessen :-) gibts schon info wann das sein wird ? nein aber bestimmt sehr bald, die Node-Betreiber können das notwendige Update schon über git beziehen soweit ich weiß die entsprechende code-änderung wurde schon im september bei github als pull-request hinterlegt, jedoch nicht weiter beachtet beim letzten update der wallet |

Wir sind jetzt dort wo wir sowieso hin mussten, fast auf den Grundtrend.
Es könnte durchaus noch tiefer gehen, die Märkte neigen zu Übertreibungen in beide Richtungen.
Nach meinem Informationsstand hat Gox absolut richtig gehandelt.
Ein Problem erkannt, BTC-Auszahlungen gestoppt und erstmal die Klappe gehalten.
Im Hintergrund ist viel an Kommunikation gelaufen, denn dieses Problem betrifft nicht nur Gox!
Nutzt diese Zeit um günstig an BTC zu gelangen.
Sollte Bitcoin diese Kriese überleben, wird die nächste Blase wesentlich größer als die, aus der wir gerade kommen.
Nochwas, bei allen Kriesen die Bitcoin bisher erlebt hat, war Mt.Gox eine der wenigen Börsen die überlebt haben.
ja und nein gox ist auf jedenfall vorzuwerfen das es erst einer zuspitzung der lage bis zum völligen stillstand benötigte bevor sie das problem tatsächlich angehen. die ersten warnungen an gox gab es nachweislich am 2. september. monate vergingen ohne das irgendwas passiert wäre. desweiteren benutzt gox offenbar kein testsystem um addierungen zum code vorab zu testen. oder anders gesagt ALLE ÄNDERUNGEN SIND SOFORT LIVE. das ist natürlich unglaublich und bedeutet für alle beteiligten einen extremen stress. |

es ist tatsächlich bemerkenswert wie gut sich die kurse halten. sollte diese mini-krise überstanden werden, und keine erneuten hiobsbotschaften ala verbot in usa oder sowas auftauchen, denke ich das es von nun an in der längerfristigen rally weitergehen wird.

FWIW, MTGOX to MTGOX transfers of Bitcoin are still enabled and working.
This means you can sell your GoxBTC for real BTC: Someone gives you a gox deposit address, you send your GoxBTC to that address and be sure to NOT check open-transaction. Coins show up instantly in their Gox accout.
People on Bitcoin talk are offering 60%, 66%, and 70% like prices.
I'll offer 85%— e.g. with round numbers: You pay me 100 GoxBTC I'll pay you 85 real BTC. You send first. This can be pretty handy if you'd like to use the current prices to get your GoxUSD out rapidly by trading for BTC and then selling that coin on something like Coinbase.
I'm mostly interested in trades over >5 BTC because I'm primarily a developer and miner, not a trader and these exchanges impose a fair amount of accounting overhead on me. I'll consider smaller offers, however.

die gox-geschichte is alles andere als förderlich. charttechnik dürfte auch nicht so dolle ausehen momantan. sollte gox am montag nichts wirklich positives vermelden könnte es ruckzuck auf 500$ gehen imo. |

Is it just me who noticed a certain inconsistency between the bolded statements? Trading engine and Wallet angine are two seperated systems. So its not very surprising that one keeps running while the other is stopped. I see, but my point is that any trade implies moving btc between different addresses, so the resulting system is far from static i dont think that any trade implies that btc are being moved between different addresses. its possible to have several addresses that for instance hold 1 BTC and to just declare different ownership of this particular address. so no coins moving just a database that keeps track. |

how they are transfered inside Gox needs to be explained to me  copy from mtgox thread: Exactly *how* do you transfer within gox accounts...I'm not seeing that option.
You withdraw coins to deposit btc adress of another gox user, they do not go trough network. |
