It's a shame Germany lost, I didn't like England's game... They didn't play football and they didn't let Germany play! It was a classic England bus... I hope Ukraine can win them, although it's almost unreal...  Grin

This is not disrespectful to Germany. England is not a weak team. Germany and England are teams of the same standard. However, Germany did not play well in the second half. They didn't have much chance to counter-attack after conceding a goal. We have seen lots of attacks and counter-attacks in Switzerland va France's match. But we didn’t see it in the match between Germany and England.

England are actually or were favourites to win the tournament and from looking
at the Sweden v Ukraine game last night England should come through that match.

Sweden were unlucky to get beaten so close to full tume in extra time. The winning goal
by Ukraine is a terrible way to get knocked out, penalties IMO would have been "fairer".
Terrible match though, too many fouls.
4102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi’s Bitcoin whitepaper to be removed from Bitcoin.org? on: June 30, 2021, 11:59:14 AM
I'm still confused... if court has accepted that he's "Satoshi Nakamoto" or only his claim over whitepaper. What does this claim really mean?
Another attempt to double or tripple FUD.

Craig Wright is not and will never be recognized as Bitcoin founder. Never. He was detected by many plagiarism attempts. It makes sense to wipe out any attempt from him or any governments that support Craig Wright.

Craig Wright Accused of Plagiarism Again. Cointelegraph is a shit online newspaper but you can dig more to find more researches about Craig Wright plagiarism.

Its crazy though that this Judge recognises e copyright of the whitepaper.
How did this Judge land at his decision? has he not done any research to back up
his claims of being Satoshi. TBH it just doesnt make any sense how Wright has got
so far with his "quest"

4103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 29, 2021, 09:41:23 PM
Being one who like women's tennis too I'd like to write about Serena Williams who's now almost forty years old, but she's always fearsome and boasts a formidable tradition in the London Slam, where she has triumphed seven times in singles. She'll try to reach twenty-four majors with another tennis legend, Margaret Smith Court, record holder in this special ranking. Serena's path will start with a potentially not too complicated match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich that she might win in two sets.

Well she had to retire in the first set from an injury, she seemed to have twisted an ankle.

No offence to her but I would not bet on Serena winning another Grand Slam, the womens
game is very open, a lot of players have the potential to win and able to challenge and beat
Serena. I think I'm the only one who is vocal in saying Serena is past winning a 24th slam.

I cant understand how he has got so far with this charade, I dont have a website but do have
a Blogger blog page. I wonder if everyone here with a google account hosted the whitepaper
and node software it would be impossible to eliminate those unless he went after Google themselves?

Blogger/blogspot is not a good place to host the whitepaper from a legal perspective, all CSW's lawyers have to do is send a DMCA notice to Google saying they are his representatives, he owns the copyright to the whitepaper, and order them to take it down. Google's DMCA handing system is semi-automated so it might even take down your whole blog in the process.

What about using an anonymous hosting service. If its cheap im sure a lot of people
would only be too happy to defy CSW's claims and demands.

This service below is "offshore" so im sure and "laws" passed in the U.K or elsewhere
wont matter? I stand to be corrected.

...and my day was going nicely for me.
CSW really stresses me out, he is one dangerous character and we are unfortunate
to have him linked with Bitcoin.

We have to hand it to him, he has one hell of a legal team if only he would use his resources
and skill at litigation to help people.

I cant understand how he has got so far with this charade, I dont have a website but do have

and dont bother notifying his legal team?

Yes I lost my bet on Tsitsipas yesterday I was really expecting him to get past Tiafoe.

Andy Murray did well to get through in 4 sets, he will be happy with that I just hope the 4
sets didnt have any negative consequences for him.

2 bets on for today, Shapovalov to win against Kohlschreiber and Herbert to win against Andujar

What a great goal from magician Pogba, that will surely hit generics for a decade!
If you miss a penalty against France you get punished too fast. Benzema's double and Pogba's magic finish the work already. It was a nice dream for Switzerland for 55 minutes but things turned around quickly.

Yes super shocker goal from Pogba on top of his precision passing in the game.
Great goal from Benzema to control that pass and tip it over the keeper.

what an evening of Football, Extra time now 3-3 nobody predicted this, going to be hard
to pick a winner, could even go to a shootout...
4108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 28, 2021, 06:42:01 PM
This match will be remembered and will be replayed in the years to come. Great fight Croatia but it should be over now. It would be out of this world if they could come back from another 2-goal deficit hehe.
Again Spain scored the 5th goal in this match. Now the score changed to 3-5 which is actually a big problem for Croatia at the moment. 15 minute to go and will Croatia repeat what it did in the second half of regular time? LOL if that's true. I still hope that Croatia will qualify, but it seem too difficult after Spain have gone crazy in extra time.

At first I thought my bet was safe when I saw the  score 3-1 for Spain  Cheesy Even though Spain won, Croatia deserves credit. I really didn't expect Croatia to equalize the score

Next France vs Switzerland, after seeing some results now I don't really believe in choosing France, Switzerland could be the next surprise, both teams to score my bet.

Unbelievable game, we actually switched over to watch some Tennis just before Croatia
scored their great 2 goals, couldnt believe when we switched back it was extra time!

Best game of the tournament so far, it had everything to keep everyone excited. I didnt
have a bet on because I have a few bets on the Tennis and because of recent upsets with
The Netherlands, Italy and  France my pot is close to liquidation.
4109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: June 28, 2021, 12:40:58 PM
And the State of Origin series did come down to just 2 games with New South Wales
taking the title. Queensland didnt perform at all. I find it amazing that  one team can dominate
so much, it wasnt even close in either match.

In the test match between the Lions and Japan on Saturday there were ups and downs.
We lost our captain Alun Wyn Jones who is ruled out of the tour from the shoulder injury. Its
a big loss, he is such a talisman who carries a vast amount of experience. On the upside
The Lions won 28-10.

I wanted to put a bet on on Saturday but The Sportsbet rugby union section of the app wasnt visible?
4110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: June 28, 2021, 06:29:24 AM
Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?

Not "everyone" is anxious. The crypto newbies are the anxious ones.
If you can't handle price volatility, just leave the cryptocurrency markets and go trade stocks and bonds.
The negative FUD news just come and go.Bitcoin is here to stay.
We are holding BTC or ethereum for the sake of making long term profits.By "long term" I really mean long term, probably after several years, not the next week or next month.
Crypto is not for the gamblers. If you gamble, you lose.

The only anxious ones are the newbies of 2021. They should realise if they are
planning to HODL, they need to be looking at a long game and not panicking because
of the short term.

Bitcoin is still approximately 3 times higher than it was 12 months ago and approximately
50% lower than it was 3 months ago, as they saying goes "Zoom Out"
4111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 28, 2021, 06:04:15 AM
For this first round match Murray is not favourite on Sportsbet, Basilashvili is slight favourite.
Murray had a quick exit at Queens so he will be looking to try and win today, otherwise it will be a
very frustrating defeat in a frustrating season for him.

Couple of interesting matches on today

Sinner v Fucsovics
Delbonis v Rublev
Harris v Berankis
Tsitsipas v Tiafoe

Im gonna pick a few bets but undecided other than Tsitsipas to win.

We finally had the first upset of the KO stages, and I think apart from the red card talking point, fully deserved. Schick has got to be the man of the tournament so far if he takes Czech to the Semis, with a goal of the tourney still surely his (don't argue, that crazy inswinging halfway-line goal was a feat). And he'll deserve every bit of it.

Now, Lukaku and Ronaldo, remind us why we watch football please =)

Well Ronaldo didnt do anything exciting today, Lukaku had some good runs
and a half chance or two.

With Portugal and Ronaldo out can anyone overtake his 5 goals tally?
Here are the closest scorers so far with Schick on 4, he has a chance to at least
equal Ronaldo's tally!

Player                                    Team                         Goals
Cristiano Ronaldo                Portugal                   5
Patrik Schick                     Czech Republic           4
Emil Forsberg                     Sweden                    3
Romelu Lukaku                   Belgium                     3

Here comes the first unpredictable result! Absolutely everyone believed in the victory of the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic wins 2-0!
By the way, even without the red card Czech Republic looked quite good... Congratulations to Czechs with the win!

I am completely disappointed in the performance of the Netherlands. I expected better performance from Depay and Wijnaldum. They played very badly. Lots of gamblers have lost bets today. I never thought a team like the Czech Republic would be able to beat the Netherlands 2-0. The Czech Republic played great.

Again I along with many have lost bets on the favourites.

Another game of 2 halves, I thought the Dutch played alright in the first half but
didnt carry it into the second half and let the Czecks into it.

While the Czecks lacked that spark in finishing their chances in the first half
they defended well and frustrated The Netherlands.
4114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 27, 2021, 12:14:56 PM
I like this Italy's team, I think Mancini is really making the most of it. Keeping Chiesa on the bench is a good strategy as well, he's most dangerous when playing against already tired defense. That goal yesterday was pure class.
I think Mancini masterclass won Italy the game, those changes were well-timed at the right moment of the game, they needed someone to cause troubles on the right flank and Chiesa was all thy needed to break the deadlock. Kudos to Austria they gave us an entertaining game I never expected such from them, they could've caused one if the worse upset last night of not for the cancelled goal.

IDK, if you have a player like Chiesa with the talent he has why wait until extra time? why
not 10, 20 minutes into the second half when its clear Austria were imposing themselves
on the game?

....that way we would all have our bets realised.

Fair play to Austria indeed but they lacked that finishing touch in the final 1/4 of the pitch
for a lot of chances they had.

Now I wish I were betting on outrights (as in qualification regardless of ET or penalty shootout). Have a feeling now we'll get more matches like Italy where everyone's too careful and we get draws then the class finishes off the weaker team in Extra Time or penalties. Favs should still go through I guess.

Portugal-Belgium is SO tough, you have stars in both. BTTS maybe?
snip

The match between belgium vs portugal will be an opportunity for Ronaldo and Lukaku to prove who is the sharpest striker this year, although currently Ronaldo is the temporary top scorer, but in my opinion, Lukaku has a chance to beat him and of course in today match, Lukaku should score as many goals as possible,

There is also Wijnaldum of The Netherlands on 3 goals too, so he is one to watch today.

Those are fairly big developments. Its clear again from these that the demand for
Bitcoin is increasing regardless of price crashes.

These developments are also proof that accesability to Bitcoin is getting easier
for people who dont necessarily want to go the obvious route of acquiring it directly.

Thanks for updating @Daltonik

Really didnt expect a 0-0 result in normal time, my bet is new liquidated and Italy
have just scored in extra time less than 5 minutes in.

You, me, and the rest of the footballing world, including even Austria fans haha. I mean, ugh, this goal doesn't really help me at all except to advance Italy to the next round (got an outright on them). Every parlay I had with Italy in it had them at FT win. The odds actually climbed higher towards the match, and I added a couple more ha, serves me right. A bit annoying, but...

At least no penalties, right? =p

Was it so hard to put the best player you have in the field?

Right? What on earth are you saving him for?

Thats exactly what I did too, I saw the odds going up and added an extra bet "knowing"
they were going to score in FT.

First half was good with some positive play from Italy and a few chances but the second half
saw Austria come into the game more.

Whom do you think is the favorite for winning in today's matches ?

Netherlands Vs Czech Republic :-> My pick is Netherlands

Belgium Vs Portugal :> My pick is Cristiano Ronaldo  Wink

I agree.
The Netherlands are expected to win the game, despite not having an easy life. The Czechs will work hard to try and get something out of the game.

I thought it was funny to say that Cristiano Ronaldo will win. I will agree...  Wink

I have a bet on The Netherlands even though The Czechs historically have always been
difficult games for Holland
4117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 26, 2021, 09:03:31 PM
Denmark are the first team in Euro history to reach the knockout stages after losing two matches and are now unexpectedly in the quarter-finals with a very significant development in the game.

Its not surprising against Wales tbh, the odds also favour Denmark to win but to be able to score 4 goals is an outstanding feat indeed especially after Eriksen's incident. The next round would be a different story though, Denmark will most likely play against Netherlands and this team's performances was very impressive in the group stage.

I predict Italy can at least score goals I've placed a live bet let's see what will happen

This is most likely going to be the first match to get into extra time. Its currently less than 2 minutes including injury time

The game is only a few minutes away, the score is still 0-0, is it until the end of the game?

Its probably only for the full 90 minutes

Really didnt expect a 0-0 result in normal time, my bet is new liquidated and Italy
have just scored in extra time less than 5 minutes in.

I was just going to say it is really 50/50 but not any more, Italy should win comfortably
from here.
4118  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Next 10 years of Bitcoin? on: June 26, 2021, 07:24:17 PM
Bitcoin will definitely be around, Core development will continue and general adoption
will continue from here, especially as Bitcoin survives more price upswings and corrections.

Price however could be anything upwards of todays price.

Bear in mind that by 10 years time we will already have had another 2 halvings so supply
and demand will certainly be a factor in valuing Bitcoin
4119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 26, 2021, 05:32:13 AM
Denmark is favorite against Wales. After Russia victory their morale is sky high and they plan to keep it that way. They play for Eriksen in this tournament and want to go as high as they can, quarter finals would be great achievement for them. Wales did pretty good job against Switzerland and Türkiye but I don't think they can go further. They rely on Bale and Ramsey mostly but Denmark have more quality players which can change score anytime.

I think Wales v Denmark is a closer match than many think.

This is a tough one to call, it would be nice to see Wales get to the next stage after
all they did reach the semi finals of 2016, now though they are seen as underdogs and
as I posted earlier, Denmark is everyones second favourite team.

Italy v Austria should be a safe enough bet for Italy, they are unbeaten so far in the
tournament and looking very sharp. My bet obviously is on Italy, but none on either
Wales or Denmark, too close for that one to call.

This is interesting.
Whether they have or have not purchased the Bitcoin yet the government its really
trying to push people along with adopting and getting familiar with the workings of
wallets, receiving and spending. By doing this it speeds up the process of buying, selling
(and holding) Bitcoin. This is very brave and shows full commital by the government.
