Thanks of all moderator who changed my mindset. Really it's useful for me.I really think they are carefully done his job.My many post has been deleted coz thoose post was low quality. For me,It's take positive thinking. Coz i think moderator he his right.I think people don't report my post brcause my thinking is still On topic. When people reported then Moderator should be judgment this right or wrong report coz It's every Moderator responsibility.

Hey man! I'm very glad that people are no longer reporting your posts and that the moderators are not deleting them, although if I'm being honest, the only reason I didn't report your post is because you made me laugh.

On the other hand, I'm going to lock the thread, since I've already read some opinions on the subject and I think this is enough. I don't think it's worth giving the matter much more thought especially since, as I said in the OP, the moderators do a great job.
4142  Other / Meta / Re: as a reminder to all forum members on: January 03, 2022, 01:31:53 PM
Sorry about not checking for plagiarism before. I just took for granted that it was an alt account. I couldn't have imagined someone so dumb as to create a thread in meta plagiarizing a bitcointalk post.
4143  Other / Meta / Re: as a reminder to all forum members on: January 03, 2022, 07:40:23 AM
I think you have made a good summary, and although I knew more or less the story, I didn't know it with all the details as you have summarized it. Another thing is that I don't believe that you are a brand new member.

Edited to say that I have given you a merit because I think that just because you are an alt of someone on the forum should not preclude seeing that you have done a good summary and that it will have taken you time.

It's a nice read though and would've fetched OP some merit if it didn't smack of "an attempt to deceive other users into believing it's a genuine noob account"

Yeah. He wil probably get fewer merits than if he was a brand new member but I though he deserves at least one.
4144  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: January 03, 2022, 07:34:44 AM
Please ban for Plagiarism

Lol. What strikes me about this case is that he is a Legendary member and does not wear a signature. What a way to ruin an account.

paraphrasing without providing sources from the original.

Another paraphrase, without providing links to the source

It seems that lately they are adapting and no longer copy directly but change the words to make it more difficult to find plagiarism.

By the way, I reported skrimon and Rupok365 on December 28 and and they don't seem to have been banned. Is it because of the end of the year weekend or am I looking at it wrong and they have been banned?

4145  Other / Meta / Re: as a reminder to all forum members on: January 03, 2022, 07:28:12 AM
Call me conspiracy theorist if you want but I don't quite believe you are a brand new member.

On the other hand, I don't know why you post this thread here. Spammers don't come here much and those of us who do come here already know more or less that information.

Looking for merits for your alt?
4146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to post Bitcoin bounty for stolen truck on: January 03, 2022, 04:33:03 AM
There is one thing I don't understand. You want to maintain privacy but you give a reward in Bitcoin to get back something that belongs to your family? People are going to know that that Bitcoin is owned by someone in your family. Otherwise, who would give that reward?

On the other hand, do you think there are many people in those rural towns who know about Bitcoin? But well, let's assume that there will be someone in the village among the younger people who understands it and can communicate it to the rest. Yes I would publicize it through as much media as possible, Craigslist, Facebook and whatever else you can think of. In the time I have been on the forum I don't remember anyone saying they were going to give a bounty for anything like that. If you finally do it tell us how it goes.
4147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin first week price speculation on: January 03, 2022, 04:22:09 AM
First week of the year effect
$BTC returns first week of:
2021 +36%
2020 +13%
2019 +7%
2018 +18%

I later had to check this using 1 day time range Japanese candle stick on an exchange. I found this to be true. I did not calculate in percentage but noticed their has truly been uptrends in the first week of the year right from 2018.
...
Likely there might be another bull market due to this, I am thinking whales, retail investors, people that fomo and other set of people are ready at the start of new year. What do you people think about this early year investment? Hopefully the market might be bullish, right?

In my case, I don't care because I don't trade in the short term. If I believed in what you say I would have firmly bought on December 31 to sell at the end of the week, also taking into account that I would not have to pay taxes on the sale for another 15-18 months.

But the regularity you quote is may be due to purely statistical variability and does not seem to be based on underlying events, as out fella says:

TA patterns repeats... Until it doesn't.

4148  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1 Year later, setting new goals on: January 02, 2022, 03:52:33 PM
... I recovered my old wallet and started trading immediately. I made a few mistakes, which I shouldn't have done, but they were a result of amusement and poor management. Eventually, I stopped trading, because I couldn't handle its pressure, and put most of my money in DeFi/Staking, which had a great turnover, within a short time frame.

How are you accumulating Bitcoin?
Signature campaigns are the main source, I may gamble here and there, with small amounts of BTC, but that doesn't really count I guess.

I congratulate you because it seems that you are accomplishing what you set out to do, but I miss something more than the monetary aspect. For example: you could have said that you are going to learn more about the technical aspects of Bitcoin or that you expect to reach Hero member in X time (approximate).

To go back to what you are saying, if your goal is to accumulate, I would recommend that you do not trade, which for most people is like playing roulette, and do not gamble either. Even if you gamble small amounts, casino games have a negative mathematical expectation. Better to squander fiat and stack any sat you can. Saving as much Bitcoin as you can is a boring but very safe way to build wealth compared to the thrills of trading and gambling.

4149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 02, 2022, 03:35:10 PM
Sorry if I have doubts on your regrets, price today is 47000. Only about 18% more than your exit price.

You had $1600 from when you sold. If you had kept your BTC then you would have 0.04 btc. Buy it today and you have over 0.034.

That is really not a price difference to worry about.

When BTC is 100k, will you be concerned about the extra 6000 you would have gained if you kept at the old price? So do not add mistake upon mistake Wink

I also have doubts on his regrets, I am not in the habit of believing what people say in the forums, especially if there are things that don't add up, as you point out.

But let's assume that what the OP says is true. What I would say to him and anyone else in his situation, is that before he invests a single penny again, that he should be clear about why he wants to invest, for how long and above all I would remind him to do it with money he doesn't need.

The argument of whether the price has gone up or down some more does not hold water. It would be better to think that one wants to invest in Bitcoin because he has understood its decentralized, limited, autonomous, uncensurable nature, its ability to store and transfer large amounts of wealth and at the lowest cost and that for these reasons he wants to invest in it with money he does not need. That way the OP instead of thinking about selling what he would have thought is to buy more, and would not have opened this thread and would have opened another one telling us how wonderful is the DCA Bitcoin.

4150  Economy / Gambling / Re: MISTAKE TIP 3.8 BTC on: January 02, 2022, 05:50:56 AM
LOL this story sounds super fake.

He got it in 2020 and wants to send it back now? Please....  Roll Eyes
I kinda feel the same way. OP just send it to me if you wanna relieve your conscience.

Super fake story and this dude is just trying to scam someone right after waking up from long sleep of his account.

Etc. Yes, I agree with those of you (most) who don't believe it. It is fake. Here is another example like the one in this thread:

my version of honesty

In that the OP, inspired by EZ0010's story opened that thread, I think in the hope that he would get merit and recognition for how cool he is. It backfired on him and he ended up negative tagged.

In the case of this thread, I don't give them the benefit of the doubt, if they tell such an unbelievable story the burden of proof is on them, so the story is fake until proven otherwise.

I can not see the image by the way. A blockchain link will be good.

Me neither, another thing that reinforces that the story is fake.
4151  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year - The crypto economics on: January 01, 2022, 04:39:14 PM
As far as finances are concerned, I am facing the year quite well, the only thing I have to control is not to spend too much. In terms of income and net worth I am above the average where I live for the age I am. With that I am satisfied, although sometimes I buy lottery as I said in another thread and if I won a jackpot I would travel around the world for a while and things like that. But I am not complaining at all about my current situation. I simply have to continue as I am doing now, which allows me to have relatively high superfluous expenses such as leisure, but I have to control it, because it's very easy to spend money and sometimes you end up wasting it.
4152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about lottery? on: January 01, 2022, 04:31:46 PM
What's your opinion on lottery, whether it is an addicted gambling practice or it is quite Ok to buy lottery regularly. There are people who allocate separate fund from their earnings for lottery. Only the luckiest will make the win, and today got to read about a lucky winner on the UAE lottery. It is the first time in his lifetime buying a lottery, and he had won about $3 million. He's working as a labour and he has said to the media he'll buy agricultural land in his village (India) and support develop the school in his region.

For every one like that there are more than 99% who lose money in the lottery in their lifetime. If you add up what they have won, which are usually withdrawals and small prizes, and subtract what they have spent, the vast majority lose money.

Try this lottery simulator and you will understand:

https://www.cuandomevaatocar.com/en/

The lottery is basically an EV game, what happens is that since for a derisory amount it can change your life, many of us play, and I include myself, in spite of the fact that the mathematics are against us.

As for whether it is addictive, it is much less so than other game modes, even now that you can buy it online.
4153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new year on: January 01, 2022, 04:24:07 PM
Happy new calendar year to all the members of this forum, the past year has been a remarkable year in the Bitcoin journey and one of the most remarkable events of the past year's is the adoption of Bitcoin as a legal tender by countries like El Salvador.
The building of the first Bitcoin city and the all-time high price of Bitcoin in 2021, with all this exciting event I wish to say a big congratulations to all of us and a happy new year.

I too wish you and the rest of the forum a happy new year. As for what you say, I think it has been more remarkable for the former than the latter. The price has left much to be desired, everyone expected to have reached much higher.

Now we are facing a 2022 where some think the highest price of the cicle has already been hit and there won't be a new ATH until next halving, and others think this cycle is somewhat delayed and we will pass 100K this year. The bitcoin haters I don't take into account.
4154  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: January 01, 2022, 05:53:31 AM
Well, I as in other cases, I am always open to change my support to flag. I didn't leave feedback, but I think if I remove support for the flag, I will leave at least neutral if not negative feedback.

This seeing that bl4nkcode is wanting to collaborate in a similar way as crwth did. The problem is that I think he had more responsibility, and he has many previous positive feedbacks for acting as escrow. This has to be compensated, and even he has recognized that an escrow should not act like that:

... but later on I realized that I was the escrow for a reason. I have to admit that move is a mistake as what an escrow is stand for, and I apologize for that, really.
4155  Other / Meta / Re: Have you had the feeling of a certain arbitrariness by moderators? on: January 01, 2022, 05:46:37 AM
I do that a lot, the topic is "A" but I bring in a bit of "B" and "C" too. Because I think it's close enough to be discussed but not worth starting another post.
So far I have not had a lot of things removed because of that. Is it because people don't report my posts or because mods think it's still on topic?

I probably wouldn't report that.

Me neither. This happens in all threads as pages advance: conversation "A" is mixed with "B" and "C", which are related. But as we are advancing in the alphabet, the conversation has less to do with the main one, which is "A". That is, conversation "B" is clearly related to "A", "C" is clearly related to "B" but not so much to "A", "D" is related to "C" but has even less to do with "A", which is the main topic of the thread.

The problem that I perceive as arbitrary is when me and naim027 get two replies deleted, let's say they are "C" or "D", and I report two replies that are also clearly "C" or "D" and the reports remain as "unhandled" which makes me perceive arbitrariness or unfair unequal treatment.

The last one I can remember who pissed off about this was nutildah, who seems to have left the forum for good as a result.
I am not aware of any case in which nutildah had any action taken against him for *arbitrary* reasons.

I am talking about feelings and perceptions here, so not something objective.

I am sure nutildah was pissed off for what he perceived as, I don't know if arbitrary, but I am sure that he perceived as unfair.
4158  Economy / Reputation / Re: my version of honesty on: December 31, 2021, 10:21:40 AM

OP, thanks for this insight into the mind of a scammer! You managed to get away with $400 that doesn't belong to you, and you honestly (pun intended) believe you did the right thing! That's amazing.

I remember seeing a psychiatrist on a TV show who specialized in criminal cases. He said that very rarely did criminals recognize that they had done something wrong. The one who raped a girl would find reasons to justify that she wanted to, or that she sexually provoked him. The murderer, why the victim deserved it, etc.
4159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Rally Proved Short-Lived, and $100K Dreams Faded on: December 31, 2021, 08:30:49 AM
I reckon that much of the people in the cryptospace are very uninformed on how overleveraged the cryptospace market presently is. This might change on 2022 where much of the mainstream news media and bitcoin news media’s next storylines will be about market leverage and how it was really leverage that pumped bitcoin to $69k. It was not adoption.

In October, the long-awaited U.S. bitcoin ETF approval sent BTC’s price toward an all-time high of almost $69,000. But extreme leverage preceded a sell-off back down to $47,100 by the end of the year.

Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/12/30/market-wrap-year-end-review-bitcoin-etf-rally-proved-short-lived-and-100k-dreams-faded/

I had heard the second part, that it was the excess of leverage (liquidated at the minimum) that prevented us from reaching the expected blow off top for this time of the year. I think I heard it from CryptosRUs. And it seems to me that he is right. Doing only 3.5X from last cycle's ATH is not thanks to excessive leverage, excessive leverage is to blame for it.
4160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Bank announces to support Bitcoin; says it's important to own private key on: December 31, 2021, 05:45:04 AM
I too was having a hard time understanding why a bank would want to shoot itself in the foot (from a traditional banking point of view) until I read this:

It's not uncommon for Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken / Sparkasse in Germany because their business model is indeed very decentralized. It's called Genossenschaftsbank in Germany, somehow comparable to Cooperative banking. And in Germany, there are many partially independant, local branches (like for that Example Bayern Mitte (middle Bavaria)) and such banks are very customer friendly.

By selling / converting BTC, the bank would still make a profit and the article also mentions to sell education-courses for customers interested in Bitcoin (most likely inlcuding informational material).

Apart from that:

This can cause a chain reaction. Banks from other countries will also join this game in order to keep up with pioneers like German bank. That's when the fun begins when other bank start making such statements at the distillation.

What you say is very unlikely. What we are seeing here is the exception and not the norm. This is a special kind of bank, but big banking if it adopts Bitcoin is going to be to offer custodial services, Bitcoin-backed loans, etc. Precisely the Bitcoin originated against big banking, who, in addition to central banks, can also create money out of thin air thanks to the fractional reserve system.
