Many people obey their girl friends more than anyone else.

What if their girl friend insists you to stop gambling  Huh Will you Stop  Tongue

If she became your girlfriend, for sure she should know that you are into gambling right? But in any case she didn't know, then it's going to be a big problem. Because there could be girls that might be demanding in a good way, I mean maybe she just want to get out of it even if you are not an addicted gambler. Or maybe it's just a matter of compromise, you can talk to her, explain everything and maybe you can make an agreement or something, instead of your relationship suffering.
4182  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: August 03, 2022, 09:48:55 AM

For me, Binance P2P at gcash ang mas magandang combo kung gusto mo magcash-out or cash in.

4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: RUIZ VS ORTIZ SUN, SEP 04, 2022 10PM ET EASTERN TIME/ on: August 01, 2022, 11:10:14 PM
This should be WBC title eliminator, and as we all know, Fury is the current belt holder, and then the former champion, Wilder is rank #1 by the organization.

So whoever wins here might have a crack on Tyson Fury (if he ever wants to fight again), or fight Wilder.

This is very important for the two boxers, and as the title of this fight, it's all or nothing, everything is on the line here, their careers, the potential big payday against Wilder or Fury.

And Ruiz is the favorite so far, at 1.2x vs 3.x on Luis Ortiz.
4184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 01, 2022, 10:45:45 PM
I'm confused about who to vote for, of course I don't want to give wishful thinking and Haney is really the favorite for the upcoming fight, but it's obvious that Kambosos understands this and his team will make really effective changes during the preparation for the fight.

I voted for Haney to win by decision. You will not be able to see the picks of our fellow bitcointalk boxing fans then if you will not cast your vote. Cheesy

Here is the current results of the voting, hehehe.

I get your point though. Kambosos know that he will not have a chance in this rematch if he will not make major adjustments. Kambosos have to risk everything including getting hit by solid counters because he needs to be the aggressor. And he should let his hands go by throwing combinations after combinations. Maybe Kambosos might pull the upset if he can throw combinations throughout the whole 12 rounds. He's got the work ethic so I'm pretty sure he's got the stamina. And as for Haney. He will continue to fight smart. Expect Haney to box and then hug and dance if Kambosos will throw many combinations per round.

Yes, it's just a matter of adjustment. He needs to be a volume puncher and shouldn't give Haney some spaces. And his team as well, they should give a fair assessment of the fight and tell it honest on George face. Unlike in the 1st fight wherein the corner seems to be lost as they see that George is winning. His trainer should tell if they are behind the scorecard as he see it so that he could advise George to let go of his hands. But I still go with Haney winning by maybe a majority decision, 1 judge may decide it a draw, and 2 on a very close score to Haney.
4185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 01, 2022, 10:11:34 PM
I'm sorry but I haven't tried casino's that are not in the forum or at least doesn't have a good review and reputation here. Just want to be sure that the casino that I'm going to play are not scammy platforms.

We have heard and seen platforms that scammed our members here, so I don't want to be the next victim.

Maybe there are others willing to deposit to unknown casinos and then give us the feedback, we appreciate that. But still we need to be very careful specially for small time and casual gamblers.

The WBC has ordered that a fight be made between Zepeda vs Prograis for the vacant WBC 140 lbs belt. Josh Taylor, the unified champion, decided to vacant that belt.

I initially thought that it will be Ramirez vs Zepeda for the title. But I think the winner of this fight will face Ramirez next. This is good fight, both Zepeda and Prograis are known brawlers so this is a sure fire war.
4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: August 01, 2022, 09:17:32 PM
Latest training video of Teofimo Lopez here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SBgKqED2TU

He seems to be bulking up really nicely at 140 lbs, and I reckon he can even go at high as 147 lbs or could be walking around that weight he is not fighting.

And here is Campa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqdecRus8fc

Gonna be intriguing fight, but it's hard not to root for Lopez here.
4188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 01, 2022, 08:50:46 PM
90's basketball is very physical, now it has evolved because a team who have great 3-point shooters will likely win the championship.

That is because the game is evolving each year and with each decade that has passed the coaches and players are adapting to it. Also, if the players nowadays play like in the 80s or 90s era, I reckon they won't be that effective anymore because the coaches and players these days already knows how to counter the plays in that era.

Not just basketball, every sports has only evolved since that time. That's why he is really hard to compare era's because it is very different. That's why you can here former players criticizing the way the game is being played right now. But they have to accept that as players like Steph Curry has revolutionized it, (love it or hate it). He has unlimited range, breaks Ray Allen's 3 point record to become NBA's all-time leader in 3-pointers made.

As for Chet, if I'm not mistaken, several pages back we also discussed his potential and his similarities with Durant or even Dirk. And we also said that he needs to at least gain some muscles so that he won't be bullied inside.
4189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: August 01, 2022, 08:37:40 PM
Uggh. So annoying. I was looking forward to this fight and it was going to be shown for free on Dazn in the UK. I wonder what sort of financial hit Jake is taking on this? Pretty shitty and stupid of Hasim not have taken this fight seriously as he's going to lose the biggest paycheck of his career and now he looks like a coward who wanted to fight on his own terms and whatever weight he felt like.

I am quite certain that it will take some future financial hits for Jake Paul as a promoter. There might not be much other fighters who would be as excited to be in one of his cards. Those other boxers have also trained hard for August 6 and have also had their expenses paid for their training.

I have a feeling though that this fight is still going to happen and it might have to be push through, just maybe a couple of weeks.

Or maybe find a replacement fighter for Rahman?

But if they fight is totally scraped for good then sure, it will have a financial toll on Jake Paul.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Jake wouldn't have announced it was cancelled and likely just tried to get it sorted behind the scenes as people will start collecting their refunds already. I wonder if lack of ticket and PPV sales had any impact? Hasim Just posted a video explaining why he couldn't make weight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3HketvrwGA

Yeah, but he mentioned that they have a back up fighter.

Sounds to me like he didn't have any intention of losing weight and was just trying to hardball Jake into fighting on his own terms and left it this late so Jake would be more likely to just acquiesce rather than pulling the entire fight. If you aren't willing to fight at a certain weigh then don't sign the contract.

I agree, if this is true, then it's a bitch move on Rahman, he did sign the contract, so at least honor it. If he can't make the weight then don't do it. But it looks like he has a plan after all.

I think Jake should fight Tommy next, then maybe Nate Diaz, and then depending how well he does in that either McGregor or Mayweather. I think it Jakes makes it past Tommy and Nate Connor is certainly an option.

Nate Diaz would be huge, the press conference leading to the fight will be interesting as Nate is also known to talk trash, and the timing is about right that this two square off this year.

So we are going to the Semi Finals.

TNT vs Magnolia

SMB vs Meralco.

Do we have our local betting here? I mean, a series bet would be good, especially for the TNT vs Magnolia series as both have even chance to win based on the betting odds. Anyone wants to organize?

We have our local bettings here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5403342.0. Actually it is a prediction tournament by our very own @bisdak40.

Maybe you can follow that thread and probably tail some bets as well. Specially those in the leader boards as they really know the team that much.
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 01, 2022, 10:34:40 AM
And as expected, based on the odds of the fight, Danny Garcia dominated Benavidez in their match by majority decision, scores where: Judges Glenn Feldman (116-112) and Anthony Paolillo (117-111), while Waleska Roldan a draw (114-114).

The power though, it seems to me that Garcia doesn't have the power he has when he was the champion at 140 and 147 lbs. I guess moving up in weight, it diminishes. But if he ever faces a hard punching Charlo at I guess Danny doesn't have a chance.

I only heard pa! pa! pa! from Benavidez earlier and it seems he doesn't have enough power to knockout Garcia even though his punches were landing earlier. though Garcia was also not strong enough to quickly end the fight, his stamina and speed are good and I think he was just not used to fighting at this high weight class and it's really hard for him to adjust that's why the fight ended up with the official's decision instead of K.O. he might be ready for another championship fight if he can improve his punches powers in one more fight before that.

I think he has a decent power, but it is not landing perfectly into Garcia's chin, but Danny has a good chin as well that's why it doesn't have the effect.

Want to mentioned though that during the post fight interview with Jim Gray, Danny cried and just like Ryan, he also suffered from the same mental issues and it took him more than a year to get back into the sports that he love and now getting his win after 20 months.

Non-appealable, sabi din, to protect the integrity of their procedures, they will not be able to provide a thorough explanation of the reason my account is closed. They just said to refer to their ToS.

This sucks.. a lot.

I'm really sorry to hear this news, talagang masakit na matanggap tong balita na to. Or anong violation ba talaga sa ToS nila?

4193  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the possibility Bitcoin will rise before the end of the year ? on: August 01, 2022, 08:46:09 AM
I like these types of topics, but I have read so many answers, that in the end they do not give one like the one I would like to see, but I understand that it is complicated, nobody is a fortune teller, many bet that this year the bitcoin will rise, others say that for the Next year, according to analysts, some articles assure that it will not happen, but how to have all these possibilities and condense them into 1? I think it is something semi-impossible, because who has the truth? not even in a crystal ball, the most sensible thing is to buy what you can for when it increases to have the maximum possible bitcoin.

What do you mean? do you just want to hear that "yeah the price will be in $100,000 or higher at the end of the year".

At least people are trying to give us sensible price prediction. Instead of telling us ridiculous price that it's not even achievable. Of course, we can't predict the future, we don't have the crystal ball. But at least based on the price movement and the current sentiments that we have, the price might not go that high before the end of 2022.
4194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trusted stable coin currently (in your opinion)? on: August 01, 2022, 08:17:40 AM
I will just talk about the stable coins that I have so far used, and that is USDT.

So far, although I have heard about a lot of negative things regarding this coins since like 2018, I still used them and so far it was good as far as my experience goes. So I will say that for me, it will be USDT. I don't want to used the word 'trust' though as it is subjective. But maybe because it was the first stable coin (as far as I know), and that is why up to this day, although there are a lot of better options, crypto investors are still using them.
4195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange will go out of business of every Bitcoin is hold in private wallet on: August 01, 2022, 07:59:51 AM
Bitcoin is already winning the war against the centralization of Bitcoin services, and a lot of Bitcoin holders are beginning to realize the safety of their Bitcoin when it is off the exchange and kept in a private wallet. You only send real Bitcoin when you do it on a p2p level and you don't own Bitcoin when your coins are stored on an exchange all you have is just promises and not Bitcoin if your Bitcoin is on the third party exchange.

No, your argument is wrong, the purpose of CEX is just a trading platform simple as that. So obviously, if you are not trading and holding your bitcoin you won't keep it with them. But they can still perform as design, it can be used to buy/sell by other crypto traders, and the market is open 24x7, so somewhere in parts of the world, there will be buyers and sellers and so the CEX will continue to exists even though the numbers of bitcoin in an exchange is going down. And on the contrary, others may say that it is a bullish sign that bitcoiners are holding it on their wallet.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 31, 2022, 11:53:27 PM
I will agree though, specially those streamers that shows very huge win, in the millions of dollars that maybe some will go and try it for themselves and see how their luck will be.

On the other hand this streamers though could be paid so obviously, the results might be rigged so that those watching are going to be attracted. So it's a win-win for this streamers and the casinos or games that they are promoting.
I guess that’s how streamers are made on purpose, so they can always attract new players and the house will always take advantage on their money. Although there are streamers that are simply made for awareness, but mostly in streamers where they advertise huge wins, it’s either those winners are greatly paid or in some cases, those winners volunteer on their own.

Streamers can also use their capability in order for them to have a referral bonus, I have seen so many streamers now that is getting paid and get commission for advertising some gambling site. Streamers should also fact check the site as well before advertising it in order for them and for the people to have a safe deposit and safe credentials in case that the website has KYC. Some website needed to be legal as well before entering digital casino, it is more hot in the eyes of the government if a streamers promoted it.

Streamers mostly does it with the trusted platforms. As mentioned these streamers will be making a good sum of money through referrals. When a streamer makes in millions often it creates a question, how he's able to make it. Some could've succeeded following it, with big bag of money. This isn't possible for everyone and the same is also a reason for small gamblers losing big expecting big out of small amount of money.

On the contrary, I'm just thinking about this scenario: do trusted platform and I'm assuming they have the reputation and that they are already big, still need promotion from some streamers? Or newly created one, who are just starting this business and wanted to gain that trust from the gambling community will used this streamers to promote their casinos? So it seems that the later will have more benefits if they take advantage of this kind of promotions instead of the already established one, in my opinion.
4197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2022, 11:24:27 PM
Just sad to hear that one of the legends of basketball has passed away. Majority of us didn't see how Bill Russell play, but sure we have some old videos on YT and of course, his magical run with the Boston Celtics will not be matched, I think that record will be untouchable - won 11 NBA championships.

And not that only Russell is great in court, but during his prime, America was still in racial segregation. And he had fought very hard in that era, 50's-60's. For sure the whole Celtics organization are mourning the passing of the legend.

And early this year, his Game-worn, autographed Bill Russell jersey sells for $1 million.

4198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: July 31, 2022, 11:04:13 PM
Oh! he is given a chance to re-match with the opponent who beat him last time? I think this one here is likely we need to watch since both fighters already gauged each other's strength where they can take each other's punches that's why they even reached the final round in their last fight. Seems like we will gonna see some real clash in the ring with these two powerful punchers and might be their last chance to show us some rivalry fight.

If Jerwin sticks to his normal fighting style then he should win this rematch. He should stop brawling because he is naturally a technical fighter. If he wants to entertain his fans, he rather develops more movements, more pop to his punches, and works with his combinations.

There are too many good names in the division for so many years and it is sad that Jerwin never fought at least one of them. People thought it was Bob Arum's fault but then it is a fact that Jerwin now with Al Haymon still fought zero big names in the division.

Yep, be just a technical fighter that he was known to be. But he chooses to brawl against Martinez. And it's obvious that he is not a volume puncher in this fight as he was really out landed by Martinez. Even in the last round when he knows that he needed a knock out to win. He was somewhat timid and doesn't want to engage.

I just this lost derailed what might have been big fights being set on him by PBC, like Roman "Chocolatito", Estrada or Ioka.
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 31, 2022, 10:41:13 PM
It is overtime for Magnolia and NLEX. It is very exciting and close match.

Magnolia made a magnificent stop against the NLEX and steal the ball with 2+ seconds left but was not able to make something out of it though. So we are now in overtime.

Have to wait a few more minutes for Ginebra vs Meralco do-or-die game.

Its not do or die when the result is fixed like most of the games in this league.

Lots of humors about this fixed games but nothing has been proven yet so i still believed that PBA is not involved in game fixing unless someone would surface and gives hard evidence as this will topple down the oldest basketball league in Asia.

What an exciting/intense game between Ginebra and Meralco, if this is also fixed then Ginebra would be the winner but that is not the case as Meralco advanced into the semis with a nail-biting 2-point lead.

So, interesting semis we have here as it will be against the top two business group. SMC and MVP teams, who will prevail?

Yes, Meralco escapes with a 106-104 score, eliminating the Gins. It was a very exciting match, but Bolts was able to mantain it's composure. Chris Newsome, another great game with a triple double 21 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists. And he lead 7 other Bolts player who score double digits.

Hard to see who will prevail in the semis, let's see how the first game will turn out.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: July 31, 2022, 10:15:57 PM
Shakur Stevenson does not rule out the possibility that after the fight with Conceicao he will move to the lightweight category, but as he says, everything will depend on how this fight goes and everything will depend on his physical condition.

source: https://www.boxingscene.com/shakur-stevenson-uncertain-if-hell-remain-130-pounds-conceicao-fight--167918

If he is not comfortable anymore he should let go of the Junior Lightweight and become a full fledge lightweight, boxers should be in their comfortable weight when getting in the weigh-in without draining their body, it will have a bad impact on their performance, he will be in good contention fighting in the lightweight, a match with Haney will be good for his legacy, of course, he needs to get past Robson who is a very tough fighter.

For sure, if he feels that he is outgrowing this division and may have to go up and move up in weight. He already said that in previous interviews that he has plans to going up weight classes. But for now, he seems to be secured here.

And as mentioned in the past articles, if he ever wins here, he might face either the WBA champion Roger Gutierrez or IBF Joe Cordina. So maybe that's his goal first, to unify all the belts before moving up to 135 lbs. division.
