This time, Chelsea are having an away game against Arsenal this weekend. As we know, Arsenal started really badly by being defeated by Brentford. But Lacazette and Aubameyang were injured then. And their return date is still unknown. So, I see Chelsea being one step ahead in this. They should be able to win this with a 1 score difference at least.

I said that Dortmund still had Haaland despite having many injured players. And Haaland heard me I think.  Because he performed superbly by having 2 goals and 3 assists. Today, there is a huge game between Tottenham and Manchester City. I think that Manchester City are still the favourite despite playing away. It's not certain that Kane will play in this game. It says "personal reasons" but I know the reason. I think that he doesn't want to play against City as it's rumoured that he will go there soon. On the other hand, City have missing players in this game also. De Bruyne and Foden are injured. Ederson, G. Jesus, Sterling, Stones and Walker are resting. Let's see what kind of a game we will watch. Man City failed to secure points their last three encounters against Tottenham in London, this time are favorites in this clash. I believe they will meet the expectations and open the new campaign with a victory especially when you see that all of their competitors in EPL started great winning comfortably against their opponents. That's why I think that Man City going to win as they had been excellent in the back last season, and they want to continue in the same fashion. On the other hand, Nuno Espirito Santo will look for a disciplined performance of his team so I don't think we will see a lots of goals. I'm also favoring Manchester City for this match. Maybe they will be deprived of some of their starting eleven players. But it's City we are talking about. They are still capable of destroying Tottenham in this one. And I know that Tottenham defeated them here 2 times in a row with the same score (2-0). I think this is a revenge match and City will take revenge on Tottenham. |

Besiktas started the season really well by beating Rizespor 3-0 quite easily. It was a solid performance and let's see what the other favorites of the league will do this week.
Karagumruk - Gaziantep game was also very delightful. Gaziantep did their best after getting even a red card but it wasn't enough for getting even one point. Karagumruk managed to win it 3-2. But the supporters must have enjoyed the game.

I've heard that Manchester City are planning to make an offer for Harry Kane after their game against Tottenham this weekend. Kane wants his future to be certain as soon as possible. He is going to play against the team that he will most probably go to. It's going to be interesting because of this reason. But I assume that it won't stir his mind in the game and he will do his best.

Benfica defeated Arouca easily today (2-0). And they are the new leader now. Braga - Sporting game is nearly starting and I wonder how it will end. Sporting won their last 4 head-to-head games. Now, it looks like we could get a very surprising result at the end of this game. Lorient are still leading it 1-0 and they scored it by a penalty. And we are in the last ten minutes now. Monaco are actually dominating the game in general but they are having a big problem to score. They got a draw on the first week and they are really close to lose this time also. This must be a really terrible start for them.
It is indeed a terrible start for Monaco. Lorient is now temporarily at the top of the table but you know today there is plenty weird results in the major leagues so... Tomorrow there is an interesting game between Lille - Nice and PSG - Strasbourg. Lille are having a nightmare now. First, they drew with Metz 3-3. Now, they lost to Nice 0-4 home. I really don't understand what's happening to them. They are the last champions in the end. How come did they lose their form that much? I hope that they can pull themselves together before it's too late. When it comes to the PSG - Strasbourg game, I was excited about it because I thought that we would see Neymar - Mbappe - Messi trio in this game. But when I saw the lineups, I was devastated. This evening, Dortmund have a home game against Frankfurt. After Bayern Munich got a draw against Gladbach, Dortmund would like to defeat Frankfurt and get ahead of them. And a good start to the season is always important I think. It boosts the morale of the winner team. However, Dortmund are struggling with injuries right now. Brentford are still leading the game 1-0. And there are less than 30 minutes left to the end. In the second half, Arsenal have been dominating. Brentford don't have even a single shot to Arsenal's goal. But I guess they are fully defending now. They should be looking for opportunities with a counter-attack football. I wouldn't be surprised if Brentford win this.
It's now 2-0 goals, advantage to Brentford, what a show from the New comers. They're so organized when in possession, and very much disciplined when defending. It was a deserved win, hands down! I watched the recap of the game. I also saw how much good Brentford were organizing while they were attacking. I saw that they really wanted to win this, it was their main goal. Arsenal defense were so inadequate to defend them. They were having a big problem on attacking also in the absence of Aubameyang and Lacazette. They got critical chances but couldn't make any use of them. In short, Brentford got a really deserved win by 2-0. |

@Kusman Valencia managed to win the game 1 - 0 despite the early red card, and this shows that this team will have a very good season if they continue to be resilient like this as the league progresses. Furthermore I’m not sure Getafe fans will be happy with what they saw, and Getafe player’s will be under tremendous pressure in their next match.
When Getafe were also shown a red card in the 76th minute, the conditions were equalized for both teams. But Getafe were still the better side in the remaining minutes. I didn't watch the game fully but I guess Valencia started playing more defensively while getting close to the end. Valencia didn't have even 1 shot on goal in the second half. Congrats on their victory! It's a good start. |

Gladbach - Bayern Munich game ended 1-1. Gladbach captured a good advantage by scoring first. This made things more difficult for Bayern for sure. But they still had Lewandowski. He scored nearly at the end of the first half and equalized it. Bayern were the better side in the second half but they couldn't change the score. But I think this is still a good start for Bayern. Because it's not easy to defeat Gladbach away. |

The first game of the season is between Valencia and Getafe tonight. They both had a similar season. Valencia ended two places ahead of Getafe (at the 13th place). This time, I wonder which team will start the season better than the other. I feel myself closer to a Valencia victory. But it will be a really close game I think. Valencia may have a big difficulty in winning this one.
Although this season valencia are not very active in the transfer market, but i see if their squad is quite good and compact and it can be seen when they are able to win six of the seven pre-season games, including against a big team like AC milan, and it looks like the first match between Valencia Vs Getafe will be quite an interesting match and most likely in my opinion if valencia will win the with a score of 3-1 in that match. Maybe not 3-1 but Valencia are leading the game 1-0 now as we are entering the last twenty minutes of the game. They got a red card in the 3rd minute but still scored in the 11th minute. Getafe have a ball possession of 78% in the second half. But they haven't got any good result for themselves. They have only 1 shot in the second half which is not even on target. This is not quite right. If Lukaku stay in Chelsea then there is no way to tell how his future will turn into. Back then Lukaku was not getting that much chance in Chelsea so he had to move. He was pretty good in Everton then he was sold to Manchester United then Inter Milan took him. The reason why he is worth 115 milion today is because he moved to Inter Milan Its pretty similar to case Pogba, United sold Pogba and resigned him with a higher price. There is nothing wrong with that because some club is not really into nurturing potential players though

Roma manager Jose Mourinho is planning to speak with Tammy Abraham to convince him to come to Roma. But on the other hand, Arsenal are planning to offer their 30-year-old striker Alexandre Lacazette to Roma. They are planning this because they also want to sign Abraham.
