421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: June 05, 2018, 12:52:06 PM
right now, im holding cardano from my loss back in march until now. i made myself clear to hold the coin because from what i have heard cardano is a promising coin out there. it has it own blockchain... in my decision making, members of this forum takes a big part of it.
Cardano (ADA)
$0.215504 USD (-7.04%)
0.00002871 BTC (-4.53%) it's today price. I am afraid of this price. I don't feel safe to invest my money in this coin. I prefer ethereum mostly instead of this coin.

Better to see this link " https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/  "

As you can see, cardano is on the top/rank 7 on coinmarketcap.com, which is one of the most profitable alternative coins/token in crypto community. Don't worry too much about the negative percentage right now, because it's the nature of crypto currencies, a chain reaction when bitcoin goes down. It will affect others immediately folks, but the survivability is good in the current position.

Why? Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
You need to read and understand the first post on this thread than asking "why", that post is about the bad experience of the author on poloniex. Learn more about the different side and scenario here in bitcointalk.org, educate your self for good folks.
423  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the best exchange in 2018 on: June 05, 2018, 12:39:28 PM
hi all

what is the best cryptocurrency exchange? 2018

1- binance
2- OKEx
3- Huobi
4- Bitfinex
5- HitBTC
6- Bit-Z

more : https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Please explain why!

I think you need to add the KUCOIN too, so far, HitBTC is the most in demand and dominating exchanges on our country. But it's already on the 2nd quarter of the year, there will be more things we need to see before we decide who is the best crypto currency exchange right now.
424  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: June 04, 2018, 12:35:04 PM
to mine bitcoin now it is difficult because of its competition and the number of coins is getting less scam sites and to do mining and want to get great results do have to spend a very expensive initial capital, I suggest to join trading or bounty and airdrop only to get bitcoin.
The expensive capital and competition is always on the track when you are entering the mining crypto business, by chance or just keep this on your mind. If you want to find profit or good bunch of income, the mining is one of the good option, still it's up to you when.

427  Economy / Economics / Re: 7 REASONS WHY: which one are you? on: May 29, 2018, 10:31:25 AM
I just noticed some questions about this topic so I listed some seven reasons why people want to have a cryptocurrency transaction rather than fiat.

1. INCOGNITO. this is the main reason why people use it. You cannot trace crypto transaction and its perfect from hiding.

2. CONVINIENCE. people nowadays are so lazy that they want to have transaction while seated comfortably on their home. With just one click , crypto can be transferred as payment to whatever they want. Well, who doesnt want that anyway.

3. TREND. basically, people want to try something new, something not ordinary , something innovative and if it was used by all their friends, they want to use it also.

4. ILLEGAL. yes, i dont want to include this but i saw many topics about this also. If you want to buy on black market or an illegal item, your transaction should not be traced as i said on our first reason so Crypto will help you hide on cops but not forever.

5. MODE OF PAYMENT. this is where some people buy an item usually using the profit they had on investing bitcoin even just holding. Ex. If you have 1btc and after a month it becomes 1.5 btc and you want to buy an item that cost 0.005btc and crypto is accepted as a mode of payment, you will use it ofcourse rather than fiat.

6. TECHY. it seems that techy people using cryptocurrency as a mode of payment see themselves as going with the flow of technology considering that bitcoin is the new technology of currency for the new generation.

7. SHOW OFF. whether we admit it or not, some people use cryptocurrency just to make their status up. Telling their friends about how wealthy they are and keep boasting for their ego.

This is what i noticed. So which one are you?

I believe that 3rd reason, some of the people are just investing without knowing anything about the market and how it really works bur since bitcoins is very popular then everyone is just investing without even knowing how the system works and that is the reason they are losing a huge amount of profit.
Maybe, lack of information about bitcoin and other branch of crypto world. They only see the bright side of the story, while the rough road and different problem ( risk ) is already skip.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what coins are best to buy now? on: May 29, 2018, 10:25:11 AM
VeChain is the no-brainer here. World class team, a project that solves a real life issue and can easily survive in the following 2-5-10 years. A lot of partnerships,a lot of support. The list can go on for ages but you should do your own due diligence.
Wondering why Vechain is the no-brainer here? Anyway,https://coinmarketcap.com/, this site will help you to monitor the actual value of your chosen alternative coins or token in crypto market. Just be careful and do a persistent decision about different options.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: 7 REASONS WHY: which one are you? on: May 29, 2018, 10:08:10 AM
7 REASONS Why i'm one :
1 Reasons : In a very short time i got very angry,
2 Reasons : I can stay with friends for a long time,
3 Reasons : If you are hart by somebody but do not reveal it,keep it in yourself,
4 Reasons : I love family life too much.I can not tolerate any harm to my family,
5 Reasons : I have three friends who have agreed to life for them,
6 Reasons : I can not concentrate on any action or anything,
7 Reasons : I always listen to music by excluding education.
Lol , this one makes my day complete by posting on the top which is not related to the original topic of this thread. Well done folks, good luck to your journey here in bitcointalk.org.
"6 Reasons : I can not concentrate on any action or anything, "  you've got that one folks, doing and concentrating crazy things.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altex.Exchange, be careful !!! on: May 29, 2018, 10:03:13 AM
I also don't see any proofs even in accusation area about this one, maybe the author must make some useful link or evidence about what exactly happen or this is just a black propaganda. So it means, that this is a waste thread.
431  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinpayments robbed on: May 29, 2018, 09:57:34 AM
You cannot directly blame coin payment for your loss without any proof. It is very easier for a hacker to access details from your computer with a hidden Remote administration tool. A java virus can remains undetectable for a couple of weeks stealing data from your computer checking your emails, etc just because you click a button on some unsafe site. Keeping your Antivirus updated will reduce the chances of attack on your devices.
A big YES, its not always the online wallet nor exchanges website. Sometimes, it's the hidden hacking movement on your computer and emails. Unfortunately, you encounter those kind of problems so learn from it, avoid risky website and update your anti-virus always.
432  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit seems wants to steal my money. Are they scammed? on: May 29, 2018, 09:41:43 AM
The best thing that can happend is for yobit to be hacked and never come online again.. Would do crypto a big service, mainstream will never happend when such exchanges are around.

I guess you have withdrawn a coin where they have not upgraded their wallets, and it is sent on the old chain. I lost a great amount on that. Doubt support ever will answer.

I will never use yobit again, and will warn people about it. I will neither invest a single cent on coins that is newly is listed or gets listed there in the future.

Yobit is one of the most popular exchanges around the world, and one of the top list trusted in crypto market. Folks, it's up to you, but thanks for adding some good information about the specific website you've mention above.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Send ETH to receive bounty token! on: May 29, 2018, 09:35:05 AM
KYC is protection from multi-accounts, if you can prove your identity, and others can not, then you will get more payments!

I agree but they should announce when the bounty starts not at the end. There are people who do not like it
I buy your thought. KYC should be a part of the bounty registration process. Most of the hunters miss out when KYC is requested at the end of bounty campaign. It is assumed that such are fake accounts but that is not totally true.
Well if you can't provide any legit KYC in every account, it will consider those account a fake one or a abuse one. They need to make sure that most of the token in every bounty will not go to one person only, just to avoid the manipulation of altcoin value.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: What started this bear trend? on: May 29, 2018, 09:27:45 AM
My question is, if you holds a lot of amount of bitcoins and other top alternative coins, you are almost whale god in crypto market, it's depend on you if what do you want to do the value of bitcoin, is that right?
Being a whale alone isn't enough to manipulate the market, you need to have some help from your co-whales to shake the market.

It is not they are doing what they want to set the price of bitcoin base on what they like. Price of bitcoin is still depending on supply and demand.
As I remember before, the issue about Mt. Gox Cryptocurrency Exchange is one single whale that don't need co-whales who shake the market.
Any solution for this, to avoid manipulation of crypto markets?
There's no solution for this manipulation, this has been the problem even in other the same markets. Oligarchs in real economy, hoarders and other types of manipulators can't be gone.
It's impossible to make problem to other without any potential solution, maybe if the demand and supply of bitcoin will multiply more and more, it will be hard to them to manipulate the crypto market. The more supply of bitcoin or count of bitcoin can make their share small, which mean they need to have more share on bitcoin and other alt coins. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: May 25, 2018, 07:54:30 AM
myetherwallet is one of the famous and trusted online wallet so far, specially in our country here in southeast Asia. Here's a useful link if you want to see the public and expert opinion of myetherwallet.

https://coincentral.com/myetherwallet-review/

There are generally two very contrasting viewpoints when it comes to MyEtherWallet.

On one hand, hardcore cryptocurrencies users generally offer MyEtherWallet their high praises. Some hardcore Ethereum fans say they could not live without the application as it is essential to the adoption of Ethereum. Since it’s a free and open wallet that supports Trezor and Nano hardware, most bases are covered. The in-depth functionality coupled with security is a big tick

437  Economy / Securities / Re: Do you think all ICO are securities ? on: May 25, 2018, 06:01:11 AM
ICO are securities, I think not...for me the ICO is direct to the point of investment and your money already expose somehow or some way. Don't make it complicated to the other idea of security, cause ICO is sounds like gambling without any assurance that your asset will gonna make profit. Please don't misunderstood what I'm saying on it.
438  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: May 25, 2018, 05:53:14 AM
Maybe, in a thousand year I guess. Bitcoin is already part of our life now, do you think that the bitcoin is still a bubble that will disappear immediately?
Just think about this one example, paying using bitcoin removes many layers in a traditional payment system allowing payment direct from buyer to you.
Which mean the bitcoin can make the transaction easy and less time consuming, do you think that they will end that kind of transaction if everyone benefits on it?
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Meta Mask wallet security on: May 24, 2018, 09:44:12 AM
I use Meta Mask wallet. But I wonder, is it possibble to be attacted by hackers any way? My MEW wallet was stolen, that's why this question is problem for me.
if in my opinion it is not possible if using meta mask can be hacked, because it is very safe to use meta mask. no data data should be input. unlike the prpvate key that can be hacked by hackers/
Well, if still your private key is not on the safe place , we don't need to continue to discuss about the meta mask. Everything will be none sense if you are not careful to protect your private key. So don't save your private key on your email, too risky to do that.
440  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KUcoin forcing KYC for every users on: May 24, 2018, 09:41:09 AM
All exchanges will go down this path eventually if they want to stay in business. There may be a few holdouts but even if they were fundamentally honest they're going to end with a big fat target on their back so you might find your anon exchange suddenly frozen.

Even when KYC is optional, you never know when they're going to change limits a la Bittrex and Poloniex. Either verify or leave.

Yep, spot on. Binance and Kucoin (even after this new KYC reform) are actually still technically "optional verification" exchanges, which allow you to trade crypto without limits as long as fiat isn't involved. Withdrawal limits are honestly still high (2 BTC per day is decent enough for small time traders), even after this new KYC update.

However, sooner or later, they will be forced to further their verification standards to more draconian and hassled versions. These semi-anonymous exchanges will be pressured into complying with strict AML/KYC standards as soon as their volumes gets noticed by governments or regulators. Even Kucoin, even after its current reform.

So it's definitely not just a Kucoin thing, it's a thing across the board with exchanges right now, that's for certain.
Well, for me that is okay so far, as long as they remain transparent in every transaction and not stealing all of our asset. You can use that KYC advantage if your account is already hacked and stole by someone you don't know, you can provide a clear verification about your true identity and to avoid a 100 percent loss from it. Hope I add a good idea.

The problem is that you don't know when they are going to update their terms and conditions again, to say that you are not allowed to withdraw anymore without verification. They potentially won't even give you a warning for that. This isn't going to be the final version of their KYC standards, it's going to get harsher than that.

If you do provide your ID, you don't know what they are going to do with it. They could report it to the government, without you knowing. They could analyse your trades and whatnot. No way they're going to be transparent with this process.

Also, even semi-anonymous exchanges are a huge hassle for actual anonymous traders with large volumes, who want to trade without providing ID.
The only escape that you may do is having a fake KYC application to specific project that you choose. Well for me, it's easy to do that by having a customize I.D., far address that your original address, using other face and name and many more. You cannot fake the KYC if there's a live screening ( through internet video or any other option ) of every participant or investor, which is time consuming and a no no posibility. What do you think?
