421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A big movement by a Big exchange in INDIA on: September 28, 2018, 10:42:15 PM
Putting money in an Indian based exchange is quite risky as their laws are confirmed to be crypto friendly. If zebpay was serious then they should move to an offshore base such as malta or switzerland. Eventually India will come around and accept bitcoin, but in the mean time, just go DEX
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency giant Bitmain chooses Hong Kong for IPO on: September 28, 2018, 10:38:38 PM
It's all about timing, if he had done this during a bull run then the amount of investment would be of the charts. The fact that this is taking place in a bear market means they must really be in trouble, he should know better than to sell off a crypto company in the current market conditions
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold On for Dear Life on: September 28, 2018, 10:35:41 PM
Hodl is what we need to do to bring back the faith in crypto, which in turn will bring back the investors. The chart is a great pictorial of where bitcoin has come from and where it will go next. It can easily go past $20K when the time and conditions are right.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 10:31:18 PM
Crypto is like gambling or playing poker, you need to know your stuff before investing / playing otherwise you can and will lose a lot. The media was partly responsible because they only showed the gains, but never the past losses
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price forecasting (Yale University research) on: September 26, 2018, 09:55:55 PM
If these professors and ivy league students can study bitcoin price movements and accurately forecast a price rise then they will all be millionaires and can retire early or use it to fund further research. Most of which is about as useful as this shite report as real traders know that it cannot be forecast and volatility is due to whales, panic sellers, and price manipulators
426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can u use any mobile app for bitcointalk? on: September 26, 2018, 09:51:22 PM
There are 2 options here for you, one is to get a phone with a bigger screen, and the second is to setup a personal hotspot on your phone and connect it to a tablet. Bitcointalk can only be used properly in a web browser so you need a bigger screen to use it comfortably, although some just carry on squinting at their small mobile screens
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] - Skara: The Blade Remains on: September 26, 2018, 09:47:39 PM
For a long time did not follow this project. There is still some work being done here. Why in social networks for a long time do not update the information. What happened here new? Did Token never go to the stock exchange? It's been half a year already, but the result of the work is not particularly visible. It is worth noting that the guys have collected more than three million dollars. Today, some people dream of collecting such money.

They collected a lot of money during the ICO as there are a few whales who put in a lot of ETH. Sadly for them their investment didn't turn into profit but the token is currently trading on mercatox. When skrt is available for use in game the value is expected to rise, but it will take a while for the devs to make that happen
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency? on: September 25, 2018, 05:07:00 PM
It needs to have a good and identifiable team behind it. Not to say that all projects are bad if the team decides to hide behind a monitor, but there is more chance of success if the founder travels to conventions and does meetings with new potential partners.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who dump coins early; Bounty hunters or ICO investors? on: September 22, 2018, 10:26:10 AM
It is definitely the early investors who put in money in at the start, these are the ones that really make the project happen so it gets close to the soft cap. As soon as it hits an exchange with a buy order higher than their initial investment it gets dumped, which means they got a serious discount.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market rebounding? on: September 22, 2018, 10:21:01 AM
We are starting to see spurts of growth to test the markets. I think the bull run is near as we haven't had a major dump in a while and ripple is going nuts. This means the big whales are coming back in so we can expect an uplift in prices across the board. Our patience will be rewarded
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Sad Story With Ethereum! on: September 22, 2018, 10:18:16 AM
This is sad to say but losing 50% in crypto is nothing!  A lot of people here that invested at the end of 2017 have lost around 90% and others losing everything due to the bitconnect scam. Ethereum is a good platform and it will rise again, although i will be investing in competitors like NEO and LISK which have more pump potential
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A call for action for bounty hunters on: September 22, 2018, 10:14:16 AM
There are good and bad points with bounty hunters. It is not against forum rules to have more than one account but it is against most campaign rules to stack them into the same bounty. Forum rules discourage spammy posts so if you want to chat shyte then make sure you do it in the off-topic area which is more forgiving
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Invest On Coins Blindly on: September 21, 2018, 10:31:08 PM
Often people just look at a one of two different places for a source of news. in reality they are just pumping their own investments, you know a bitcoin cash hodler because they are always trashing bitcoin and saying how great bitcoincash is, but we all know it's just a fork shitcoin. Read lots of different news to get a bigger picture
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum regains its spot on: September 21, 2018, 10:29:22 PM
Ethereum is extremely undervalued and Ripple is overvalued. I don't thing that ripple can hold the number 2 spot in a real market. At the moment it is just full of whales and market manipulators, ripple is already going back down now
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPECTRECOIN | Anonymous Tx | Tor | Ring Signatures | Stealth on: September 19, 2018, 07:30:15 PM
Thanks for all the staking info, i was just looking at approximate numbers so a ball park figure is something like 1 XSPEC per week per 1000 coins being staked. XSPEC is cheap at the moment so it's good to compare these figures to see if it's worth buying more in order to collect additional coins via staking
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO a good future invest !!?? on: September 16, 2018, 04:20:09 PM
NEO seems to be more technical than Ethereum, but NEO is a completely controlled coin, which I think may be its drawback!

Having a controlled coin in China is a positive thing because it will have the support of the Chinese government. They have so far complied with all of their regulations so when China decides to embrace crypto they will turn to NEO for their up and coming projects. NEO and THEKEY are the ones to fill your bags with
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties and Scam!! on: September 16, 2018, 04:14:36 PM
There was one called virtual rehab which said that kyc wasn't required then after a while of participating they changed their mind and said all bounty participants had to do kyc. I decided to leave as it there is really no need for this, and like the OP says they might disappear with all our private details
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls will run Q4 2018. Thoughts? on: September 16, 2018, 03:54:53 PM
Last year the bull run happened in Q4 so there is a good chance that it will happen again. There is the ETF decision coming soon and it they say yes then you can guarantee that bitcoin will go parabolic. Either way, i think there will be a bull run, there is enough demand int he market but investors are playing it cool for now
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPECTRECOIN | Anonymous Tx | Tor | Ring Signatures | Stealth on: September 16, 2018, 03:24:38 PM
What is the average daily / weekly payout if you stake 1000 coins? If you stake other coins at the same time on the same computer will it cause any problems? Spectrecoin has been around since 2016 but still hardly anyone knows about it. I doubt people browse discord looking for cool channels
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase has no future! on: September 15, 2018, 08:26:36 AM
Coinbase has gone global and if they change the rules they can simply change their base just like binance did. ALl coinc that get listed on coinbase will end up getting pumped, now is a good time to get some ethereum classic because when the bull market returns, ETC will be one of the first on the investors list
