I'm a novice and I suppose I'm asking you guys if its worth buying stock.
But you've answered the question nicely.
I'll keep an eye on the prices and buy a small amount.
MINING will generally act like a 5MH/s PMB, so if you just want cheap PMBs, buy it. SELLING requires some reading first. Yeh, your both right, I don't know enough to slash on anything at the moment. BUT, I do want to do something. How about if I buy BTC and sit on it?

Whats happened? What have I missed?
I'm assuming with the share rates that NOTHING is the prime word?

You know how to win?
Buy in and wait for the announcement.
How to lose? Wait.

Ignore them, they are just trying to set an artificial deadline in order to get others to sell. Just don't sell and you'll be fine.

LC's main objective isn't to appease us, it's to get kit on line. Sit back relax and watch the waves...

Seriously exciting, yeah. Damn, all those buys...

This is what I've done.
I'm not going to buy mining gear as it seems every supplier cant gurantee any dates for delivery. By the time I get it, It might not be worth anything as the hash complexity is increasing FAST.
I've gone to BTCT.co and bought 4.0BTC worth of shares on Labcoin. Yes, its a risk but I've read allot and I've taken a gamble. If they deliver this week, I'll make money and shall sit on it for a few months.
I need something solid that will bring in BTC on a regular basis. Anyone on anything that's working?
Fuck shares! That's the riskiest shit you can do thus far. I would simply get bitcoins off LocalBitcoins or off someone here on the forum. That way you can possibly strike a deal and build relationships with those in the community. You can also make "fee rebates" by lending your already acquired bitcoins. Visit the CoinLenders link in my sig and just review the site. You can purchase CDs and collect your earnings once the CD has matured. You can then purchase another CD and repeat the process. Your earnings will be minimal and at a gradual pace but it's a safer way to earn BTC. That's just what I'm doing at the moment. You can try to earn way more through riskier practices but keep in mind that you're more likely to lose out on a lot if you're to ever be scammed. You really thinks shares is a big risk dude? I don't mind a risk. I've bought 10BTC to sit on and yes, I'm investigating what you suggested. PS: "Visit the CoinLenders link in my sig" Its not in your sig?

Buy a ski mask, a tent, a shovel and a bus ticket, then locate BFL office somewhere in Florida and go there. Pitch a tent in front of the office, start digging with shovel across to the BFL wareohouse next to their office, breakthrough the floor, start moving boxes of stuff back to the tent. Ski mask and the bus ticket? Leave it your imagination. Ahahaha Love it.

Yep, its a risk and guess what, I've taken it. I'm willing to loose $700 on a hunch. BUT if it does pull off.. Its a gamble yes, and its not like I enjoy throwing money but its the 'what if on Wednesday' that's giving me a hard-on. If not, OHH WELL.. I'll still wait and see. If you are aware of what you are doing and not dreaming like so many people here, I can only wish you good luck, maybe that was a good bet. I did allot of reading and yeh, I was about to go blind from it. Allot of people have high hopes and some not at all. I think this will work. Labcoin seems to be trying and I don't see them throwing all this effort when LOTS of BTC can be earn't. Its only a hunch and please don't think I'm an expert or anything, far from it. Its only what I've researched and yep, spent many hours reading.

I'm sorry to but in this convo but I really need some help please.. I want to buy shares in something.. Whats 'Call Options' CALL #3948 Expire? 5 d, 4 h, 2 m Once again, sorry to bug you guys but please help I don't know who else to ask.. Don't buy options if you don't know what you're doing. You'll just be handing your money over to someone. Options are contracts that give you the right to buy a share at a certain price by a certain time (the strike price), but, in order to do that you have to buy the contract (i.e. pay the premium) You can make a ton of money doing so if you can predict the market, either up or down. For example, if you bought an option to buy the stock for 0.003 and paid a premium of 0.0002. You would only be out 0.0002, and you'd hold the option for a few days. If the price never goes above 0.003 during that time period, you'd just lose all your money. On the other hand, if the price were to go up to when the contract was up, 0.00304, you could buy a share at 0.0030, and then immediately sell them for 0.00304. You'd make 0.0002btc, but you'd still be out the original 0.0002 you paid for the contract, and you'd have a 50% loss. On the other hand, let's say the price goes to 0.006. You pay the premium, and you're out 0.0002. But, you can now buy the shares for 0.003 and sell them at 0.006, for a 0.003 profit. Minus the original 0.0002, that comes out to 0.0028 total profit. 1400% profit, compared to only a 50% rise in share price. However, on btct.co the options are all way over priced, the "premium" price is much to high. That means if you buy them you'll almost certainly just lose your money. Thank you, good advice and demonstration..
