What would you recommend?

IMO, you really can't go wrong with BTCGuild. I've been pondering heading back there myself after all this ghash.io speculation. Doesn't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

To their credit though, their support is very good, pool is solid, but my spider sense is tingling while mining at that pool Sad

That, and my gut is telling me the cex.io GHs pricing is being manipulated by staff with "fake" orders.

</subjective-commentary>

I know you're not asking me, but
+1 to the guild
Most people in your position, NineLives, I've seen them use screenshots from BTCGuild.

Emm..  I'm selling hardware very very soon (mininghardware.co.uk)  and people require proof.  Ghash.io is nice in that sense.

I really can't answer all too well I'm sorry to say.  I need some time.

thanks for all answers. I do understand your point with tax etc. as I said if u will sort the Main issues regarding price, time for delivery and all legal issues I'm more than happy to become one of first customers. is your supplier based in Europe?

I'll know in a few days on how we will approach this.  If we add taxes then prices will go over 3k.  That is bordering RIO in a few week.  If sent direct from our supplier (not in Europe) then a max of 2 / 3 weeks.  The buyer will be responsible for the import duty tax.  First set of orders WILL be sold from our retail shop for collection as planned.

Any photos of actuall miners?
Can u confirm, prices and when first units will be avalaible?
I know this is not probably how u gonna deal but i hate preorders. Any chance for taking payments by fiat when u will have units in hand?
I will take 2 x 200gh/s units if u will have in hand that. My understanding is that u testing actual unit and is in your hand. Any chance for full spec?
Hey,

I DO NOT HAVE THE MINERS IN MY HAND.  This was why the webshop is not yet open. Ghash.io setup is at my partners factory (not the supplier, my partner who I've done business with for 11years).  We currently own three of the 200GH/s and are trying to break it.  Thus far its brill.  once we have stock that WILL be limited, you can collect.

I didn't want to show you guys crap pics. I wanted to take some studio quality photo's once we got them next week but I don't want to sound like Labcoin so here you go:

There are a few things I need to deal with.

Price:     Will depend on my partner making a final deal with our manufacture.  They want numbers, I can't give them numbers yet.  They want to pre-order now.  I don't want to take that risk.
Shipping:   I do not plan to ask for pre-orders BUT rather order now and get it in MAX three weeks or your money back.
In Hand Stock (TAX issues).  If I ship from the UK, I will have no choice but to add VAT / Tax and thats not a small amount.  That will then risk RIO.  This is something I am still in discussions with and will make a decision soon.
I really can't answer all too well I'm sorry to say.  I need some time.

Good afternoon NineLives. Am very interested to buy units and also  collect in person and maybe make some arrangements for custom built rigs.

What would your terms be to hold a meeting and get to know your company and your team better and maybe go into business buying with you ?

Will price be based off difficulty and current BTC price like Avalon do as I think this would be a good starting point to use as their 120GH units are when in stock 3 BTC and now with difficulty going up so much and prices would need to reflect this too.

Hi dude..

Yes, all is possible but we can look at this at a later date.  I'm going out of my mind trying to ensure the online store is open in a few days.  I will certainly consider anything that helps me in business and helps the coin community.

Get some sleep young man. Smiley

I am now. Nn.

Guys, please please please do not take the prices as concrete..  They are estimated.  I am still finding more hurdles like shipping, supplier getting greedy as more and more want them etc etc.  I've been told per unit is around 13KG!!!  Gulp.

Supplier is keen to give them to us due to an established business here in the UK.

Will keep you posted.

Sent you a PM regarding your location in Lancashire but I've had a look at Techclinic and you're only in Blackburn!

To save dispatch, could I send a family member down to you guys to collect a unit?

Yes you can.
269  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Ghash.io fail? on: December 15, 2013, 01:33:16 AM
You're really going to continue allowing Butterfly Labs to advertise here ?
You're really going to continue allowing Cex.io to advertise here ?
Why do you think I have any control over these things? I have the ability to delete, move, pin and lock threads, and edit posts in a couple subforums and to whitelist newbies— thats it. (though— at the same time, if I did, its far from clear to me that taking their money where it can be funneled to productive uses is a bad idea. Crappy businesses are going to exist regardless... and no one could hope to screen them all out in any case. Caveat emptor, etc.)

I hear ya and thanks for the link.  It's quite worrying.

I chose Ghash.io due to the ability of making a guest account that's read only + the gui is nice.

My next choice was Eligius.

What would you recommend?
270  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk on: December 15, 2013, 12:50:10 AM
Bitfury or Avalon 2 chip?

Avalon 1st Gen on the 120Gh/s
Avalon 2nd Gen on the 200Gh/s

All future miners will be 2nd gen Avalon and maybe other manufactures.
271  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk on: December 14, 2013, 11:40:27 PM
If your importing the miners, then you need to decide now I would have thought.  You will be paying the VAT when the goods pass through customs.

Volunteer VAT registration can be achieved right now but we won't just yet.  It all depends on sales.  At this early stage, I really have no idea how many orders we will get.  I have an appointment with our accountant on Monday to discuss how I should proceed.
272  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk on: December 14, 2013, 11:18:26 PM
We are not VAT registered so not yet.

OK. That means you cant sell any more than 27 miners a year at £2900 (except for export)

You are correct.  Which is what I meant 'do well'.

The plan may also be to setup Mining Hardware abroad with the UK branch as support.  Not sure yet.  Taking it a step at a time.  If the demand is solid then we may just setup as a VAT registered company and keep things clean. But this would mean higher cost's to you guys.  We shall decide once the ball rolls.
273  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk on: December 14, 2013, 11:02:18 PM
Power consumption?
VAT included?

We are not VAT registered so not yet.  If we do well then yes we will be forced to be VAT registered or the business will be registered to our sea's office (TechClinic.co.in).

I will post technical info on the site once its launched.

Hi guys..

We have decided to launch in 1 week and not the 23rd though there is alot of work to be done.  I still can not give you an exact launch date just yet.

I was also corrected today.  It's 200Gh/s not 220Gh/s.

There will also be a 120Gh/s range.

I am currently testing.  Here is a guest Ghash.io account for you to monitor.

Please keep in mind that they may turn on and off as testing continues:

https://ghash.io/ro.html
Username:  iEKOS
Password:  1234567890

Units can also be overclocked and yet to be tested. Currently running at standard clock speeds.

PS: of course,  pictures coming soon (around 48hrs).

279  Bitcoin / Pools / Ghash.io fail? on: December 14, 2013, 04:06:46 AM
Hi guys.

I've signed up to Ghash.io, adding the pool to my miner and its mining yet I can't see it online.  Worker tab keeps timing out?

Anyone else experience this?

Ta..

MiningHardware.co.uk will launch soon but can't help you now.

We will have 500GH/s very soon.

Keep watching..
