Hi Sushi, I know you are busy and have 1,001 things to do but I paid but have not made it to the list so Santa might not even realise that I have been a good boy, let alone get an early Xmas pressie

Ahem, if I mention 'the letter after j' hash then this thread will get moved to the Alt subforum and get instantly lost onto the third page like my thread I made 4 hours ago did... It is earning me on average 0.005BTC a day though straight to a paper wallet.
Anyway, an idea what a HW error actually means? Is this somewhat equivalent to getting a graphical artifact every two days in a 3d game?
If so I won't worry about it. If it's something more serious I could probably wind the clocks back a little.
HW is not just hardware, it can also mean a problem with memory reuse in the software as it shares the main memory among the GPU threads, it is not a problem at 1 every 2 days.

Ah! So I can build 2 separate computers with 5 GPUs each and still have the same probability of finding a block. That's if someone has found out how to point them at the same litecoin software. RickJamesBTC mentioned building a base system for under $200 each. I guess I must be going to the most expensive sites because for the PSUs alone (calculate I'll need 4), they're going to cost me 1 something each. Am I missing something? Don't buy new kit, so lower costs Aim all you rigs at the same litcoin daemon

Hi Sushi, put me down for 1 please.
It is rig dependent, some do and some don't.
I have one rig that is completely headless, no dummy plugs, no main monitor but I have another that just has to have a dummy plug or monitor on the 1st PCI-e card or it just presents a black screen to all remote login software until one is there.

But your heater bring you BTC while burning!!! That is about 80w higher than what I measured. Are you running it in the normal household room with hearted on for the winter or regular office setup or in the cooler area? 450W seems a bit more than advertised no?
Yes but I am running two old Corsair powers supplies to get both blades up. yep, same here, 445W with two PSUs Normal house with winter heating on but burning less heating oil as we have a 450w electric heater in one of the rooms That's the good bit! But I am going to have to put all my mining kit into the garage during the summer unless I can get it to heat water instead, now there's a thought, a BTC hot water heater. I have a couple of quiet PWN fans on order, one for each end. I will also see if I can put a tunnel around it to reduce the noise and cooling then I can put one into the living spaces.

My thanks Sushi for stepping in and Bitmain for delivering I have a status screen full of 0's and the unit is hashing at 183GH/s whist drawing 450W at the wall with a steady temp of 48c and an ambient of 23c. Fekkin' marvellous! 450W seems a bit more than advertised no? Yes but I am running two old Corsair powers supplies to get both blades up. The original spec from the Bitmain launch thread was Hash rate: 80 ~ 100 GH/s Power consumption: 80 ~ 200 W on wall and that is per blade so no too far off but is at the upper end of the scale, I would have preferred the lower end or 160w but I can live with it.

I am assuming that you are using the MSI Afterburner Beta and you have ticked the three boxes in the General tab. I didn't so if you did you are a better man than I What card and BIOS version are you running as some cards BIOS will not change voltage and some say that they have say they have but don't?

Hi Sushi,
Thanks for all of your hard work keeping the auction going... .... 2) is this not possible as im sure we would all feel alot more secure? We all send funds to bitmain address, confirmed by them as theirs, they can then send you your comission.
quote from bitmain
we will ship 30 earliest units to where/who he demands
3) will miners ship from bitmain to us, can that be verified as the agreement by bitmain
im sure everyone would feel alot better if we could get some answers, i dont wish to be negative, but its good practise to be sensible with your wealth
...
Thanks seconded again Sushi for stepping in and doing the right thing but bones and bxx are right you will end up with a wallet with a lot of money in it. Addresses from bitmain get around the payment problem, direct ship to our addresses from bitmain should get around any trust issues.

Sushi,
Thanks for being so helpful for the first two auction on Bitmain ant. ... With the Jump in BTC and no end in sight I think it would give your Group Buyers more incentive if the price was locked to USD and not BTC. If BTC goes up another 200 or 300 before this is official, I think most will bail if not paid. Shit *BTC over 1200 on GOX now. 4.25X1200 = 5,100. Last auction was somewhere between 3900 and 4000 I think. ... I am still in but agree with Ridicuss both on your efforts to keep the buy going and that the price because of the Jump in BTC is getting a bit wild, pinning it to a USD value would make life simpler.

Many thanks Goxed, you have put my fears about the hardware to rest with the shot of your pool stats
it shows low accepted bcouse it doesnt count difficoulty it should be 13841* for example 512 if its your worker difficulty
DiffA DiffR DiffS are also there in the counts Either way I am more concerned with counting the hashes on the pool, for them to be accepted and paid for.
Can you tell us what the rate of share delivery is to the pool? Your image has Elapsed 1h 3m 57s Accepted 257 Rejected 162 Discard 508 HW 148 Am I just reading this wrong, are the figures in a different scale or is that really 257 shares accepted after 1 hours mining?
Is that really 63,253 shares as hardware errors with 13,841 shares accepted or am I reading it wrong?
Please reserve one for 24 hours for me as well.
And after that then we will all go back to gold and silver, now just who has been the biggest purchasers of both in the last 10 years?
