People like you Honeypot are a joke, too busy getting offended and angry over the most trivial bullshit imaginable while we have a worldwide great depression either beginning or in progress and World War 3 looming in the east.

Ain't that right Smiley

Look at this forum and tell me if these 'educated' people deserve any better.

HAHA christ you people are too easy. ..... Do you spoiled little fucks have any idea who you are talking to?
Mommy, I'm scared.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Of course in your mind that was a threat Smiley

Don't even have to try now haha.

Cheesy

Always with the same wrong conclusions. How about telling me what points I made about mutual responsibility before pointing fingers?

I thought I might talk to your level of understanding - you clearly have no idea you don't deserve any better since your way of thinking is nothing significant, never mind 'mature' as you put it Smiley

Smiley

HAHA christ you people are too easy. Are you shits actually sympathizing with this kid, and what does that say about you?

It's good to see you stumbling all over yourselves and forgetting to check your mouth before talking shit in defense of this kid because I called you people out for being little hypocrites Smiley

Let's put it this way for you cheeky spoiled little shits. None of you are obviously ready to take what you try to dish out. Between your weak, asinine 'counter arguments' that try to hide behind everything except having to face the consequences of being called out, and obvious thin skin, you are clearly what you accuse the judge, courts, and prosecutors of.

The D.A. is wasting taxpayers money in this case. He is making it personal.

He is fully dressed and he didn't harm the statue. The Kid is acting like a moron but no laws broken here. If being a moron was illegal all our politicians would be in prison along with half the population.

Make the Kid do Community service in a church. he will eventually grow up.
You know, that's the problem, not the solution.

HELL NO he should not have to plea bargain down and/or do community service, PARTICULARLY in a church.

A little too used to thinking you can get away with fucking with people, ain't cha? Cheesy

He made his choice to willingly disrespect other people, specific group of people who he clearly believed he could get away messing with - don't even think for a moment anyone believes when you try to bitch and say otherwise.

Well, simply based on principle of mutual respect, he broke every rule in existence by doing what he did with obvious intent. Now you know you can't get away with this so easy on these kinds of people, so fucking check yourself.

Also, serious LOL @ people calling me anything in between 'inbred red neck' and 'fundamentalist christian extremist' Smiley Do you spoiled little fucks have any idea who you are talking to?

He better be glad it's just Christians calling for a jail sentence.

If this had been a statue of Mohammed there would be a couple of Billion Muslims calling for his death.

~BCX~

Well making statues or images of Mohammed would be against their beliefs anyway so you're unlikely to see that, but what's the relevance here? You're comparing people who behaving irrationally to other people who behave even more irrationally as if that somehow justifies it. Christians need to get over themselves and so do Muslims and anyone else who gets offended by such instances of 'disrespect'.

If a bunch of christians or jews or muslims or any other religious peoples decide to desecrate atheist bill boards you better not make a sound.

Who said I was an atheist? And people are free to complain and cry all they want, but they can't or shouldn't be able to do fuck all about it other than whinge and whine. Meanwhile any rational people will just pity and mock them for being so sensitive and butthurt about a joke which they obviously can't take. Feel free to deepthroat any deity or person or billboard all you want and I wouldn't care.

LOL of course, everything is about you. I see only one whiner here.

He's 14, a teenager that did something stupid. He doesn't deserve to be arrested for what he did. At the most he should do community service, or be made to write an apology letter, or given a stern warning. This is a ridiculous waste of time and taxpayer money. PA should be ashamed for being so stupid.

Why should he apologize for dry humping Jesus?

Lack of respects of others beliefs. That's all.
Disrespectful behavior are reprehensible. Period.

Are you shitting me? You are disrespecting others' belief's every day i GUARANTEE it.  Your lifestyle alone is a disrespect to that of other religions, sharing the same room with women? REPREHENSIBLE!! How fucking dare you disrespect the religions which belief in this stupid ass idea.

Get your head out of the sand and see that it's not someone's responsibility to respect all other cultures and religions. You deserve the right to think what you want and feel what you want and not be censored.  So long as he didn't cause any physical damage there should be zero punishment, and I mean zero.  If anything, society should be apologizing to this kid for shoving their beliefs down his throat for making a joke, which we've all made with various statues in parks, this one just happened to be of a guy who a minority of people consider to be sacred.  Do you think you should have to do community service or apologize every time you utilize a cow, drink it's milk or eat it's meat?

Thank you, you laid out my thoughts perfectly.

Apparently you believe you can think of anything that does fit your idea as 'disrespect' while you have your 'opinions'.

The kid obviously went out of his way to talk/act shit with people in a way that disrespected a group that did nothing to warrant a retaliation (fuck off with your bitching 'ahhhh those evil christians'). Now if this was a muslim statue then there would have been a probable cause.

Laughable you think you can act cheeky and hide behind your 'rights' and 'laws'. You lose those things when you step out of line by purposefully fucking with people. This kid obviously thought he could disrespect other people blatantly, without provocation, and get away with it.

This is a matter of putting a kid in line. Interesting people make excuses for muslim and non christian extremists, but are too happy to bitch about their 'rights' to people who they think they can hold hostage with them.

Emphasis on 'think' Smiley

Marketplace

Currently doing final brainstorming on how to leverage the Marketplace to further demand in NOBL and increase price (offering services in exchange for NOBL). We're thinking of accepting other coins on the marketplace for a fee and allowing them to fund their own promotions. Any loss in our 15% competitiveness (if other coins offer them for a timeframe of a month or two) is made up by us charging NOBL for the listings/promotions and building stronger relationships/contacts between coins.

For example, say *coin wanted to be accepted on the marketplace and promote their coin @ a 20% discount for two months. They can fund permanent listing on our marketplace and then as an extra fund their own promotion for 2 months. Profits from these arrangements will be used to market buy NOBL and take them off market as well as fund extra development. It's also a direct way of improving relationships and exposure for our marketplace, NOBL & other coins.

Looking for feedback and suggestions, preferably constructive. Coins are paying huge amounts to be listed on brand eCommerce sites so they can have real-world use and/or trying their best to build their own marketplaces. Why not get involved and sell our current offerings for NOBL and become a brand eCommerce site ourself? If we leverage the deals/services right we can work with lots of coins to look more appealing than fiat and improve NOBL demand/price at the same time.

Interesting idea - supported.

Actually it's past time that people realize the current 'marketplace' hypes that some altcoins try to use have already been legitimately implemented by Noblecoin since its inception.

This will be a good way to offer crypto currency a marketplace at very affordable rates, with significant benefits and solid, long standing structure that is already built and proven.

Hopefully, there will be one day which America
won't be able to pay it's debts. That will be good news.
They will not be able to do any wars.
The time is close. China will be the #1
country in gdp by 2020-2022

LOL

China was supposed to surpass US by 2005. Then it was 2007, then it was 2009, then it was 2011, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2022 so on.

US economy is growing again, and china's growth is shrinking. At the current sizes, US economy can easily outpace china by the end of 2020 and make sure there is no competition.

Just as importantly, the competitive sector of the economy ranging from manufacturing and services are returning home, not to mention china has serious structural flaws and internal loans that make US housing bubble look good in comparison.

Know the facts Smiley There's a reason why the whole china thing is turning sour these days.

Thanks for your reply Rofo.

I'm confident that once it's deployed it will be right.

Sorry if that sounded like harsh criticism, if anything this turmoil period helped me triple my investment in NOBL so I guess i shouldn't complain.

Indeed what happens outside of the technical side is what will make the coin successful in the long run. NOBL is not a shitcoin clearly, but it may be perceived as one by some due to the lack of clarity/indecisiveness on the programming side.

PoS it is; merge-mining may only just delay the inevitable for PoW... Follow-through is certainly more important for NOBL than technology.

I'm eager to see this page turned!

Constructive feedbacks are always appreciated. Please consider joining in on IRC freenode #noblecoin

putting someone in jail for 2 years for taking a photo humping a statue is insane even if he was completely naked (which he wasn't).
was there any damage done to property or the well being of someone else? no.

unless he does this repeatedly and was already punished for doing it before but continues anyway this should be a 100$ fine at most.

Be sure not to set up any family pictures or plaque with your name and picture on them, then get upset when someone decides to publicly behave with it in such a manner that is both unprovoked and unwarranted.
434  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should we stop all Muslims from entering America? on: September 13, 2014, 12:14:07 PM
There isn't a cut and dried answer.  Of course we should not exclude ALL muslims.  But we DO need to be a bunch more selective about which ones are welcomed with open arms.

What on earth would the criteria for screening them be?  You cannot see what is in a person's heart.  Taqiyya is an article of faith in Islam;  we certainly cannot just ask them!

I think a longer wait time for a visa, and an in-country b/i is in order.  Those countries that make it impossible to do a b/i----  are SOL

We are not obliged to let anyone in. As a nation state, we have our roots, our identity, our nation. We throw out anyone we want, and deny entry to anyone we wish, because it is our nation.

You seem to have some serious issue understanding this.

Do you need a reason to tell someone they are out of place at your own home when you are the home owner? No.

wow!!!I just find out the dev is working on this project since jan! What am i missed....I will invest and do some promotion job! you are really good dev!

So, 8 months for a hard-fork gets you excited? Psychology can be funny, I'd encourage you to check this- http://danariely.com/2010/12/15/locksmiths/

I'm a supporter of NOBLE from day 1 but this situation with the move to POS looks incredibly bad.

The Noble team probably wants to make it right and think it through thoroughly, and release a fully stable and perfect version. It looks serious (and I'm sure it will be), but damn it looks slow compared to other coins, and not so reassuring re the team's programming skills.

This is probably the low programming efficiency and the ongoing lack of clarity on the coin future that lead to V2 not including NOBL... think about it.

I hope when this is sorted out Noble will continue to grow in popularity and appeal, but certainly the past few months were not good at all in that regard.

By slow compared to other coins I'm assuming you mean the wallet swaps rather than a hard fork we wanted to attempt (a first at the time and I believe still so), or the PoS switch already built in to the code when they're released after 7-14 days of 'fair distribution'?

And you're right PoS was not on the table and we had no experience for it. I was ready for a BTC core update, merge-mining and reduced supply because I believed they were a better option during the BC PoS hype rise and PoW was what I knew. I like PoS, but personally I think the misinformation and market manipulation of the PoS wave is the worst thing to happen to altcoins in 2014 (death of PoW, misinformation on 51% immunity & protocol security, complete supply restriction & control for P&D crews, guarantee price rises thanks to multipool, 'get-rich-quick' marketing junk).

We needed a new developer with experience and knowledge of PoS before committing to PoS and that was the reason for the delays/discussions. We're committing to funding & improving the PoS protocol as best we can once the switch happens, but there are just as many challenges to overcome as there would be staying PoW. Funnily enough months later PoW and merge-mining security potential is being 'discovered'.

Perhaps we should have been more clear on the coins future like Auroracoin & Maxcoin (perhaps we didn't discuss/share enough here? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=198862;sa=showPosts) and we could have made Mintpal v2, but from day 1 we focused more on use-case, education and charity rather than constantly forking to new specifications that generally resulted in protocol-level bugs or market control > pump&dump. Moolah has not responded to my emails or tweets since they came out in Jan.

But hey, for 8 months we've been wrong and we really need to 'make things right'.

Edit: It's hilarious that the scene has turned into a 'must hard fork every month or 2' to stay innovative rather than let things run its natural course like BTC/LTC and discuss/test/plan/educate & build over a more realistic long-term timeframe. Notice all these teams that work real fast? 9/10 work real fast for a month or two until they're done selling then disappear. Altcoins have really beaten me down to be honest, so you're probably going to see me be more assertive and get things done now rather than try to take things slow, help, discuss & educate.

Crypto is really stepping out of the cradle, and looks like rofo is leading the charge Smiley

People have to stop thinking about all this in terms of magic internet money and actually think of it in terms of new technology with actual potential. That's what's keeping crypto down in the end. People are just not serious enough or appreciate the kind of work needed for this kind of thing to be mainstream.

I am glad to see rofo understands and has the drive and vision to step above the crypto pump and dump atmosphere and treat it professionally.

Think professional. That's the only way to really succeed.

I also had a good laugh at fools who think this is protected under 1st amendment. People who don't even know what that means have no right to hold such a privilege.

only 70 years ago a bunch of white people in Europe almost killed everyone including themselves and yet ISIS is the problem.
if we go by the track record of the last century its Europeans you should be afraid of.

A few centuries ago, the Ottomans did the same. Even in the early 20th century, millions of Greeks, Assyrians and Armenians were butchered by the Ottomans. Why accuse the Europeans, when they got the idea from the Ottomans?

And if you think that the ISIS is not a problem, then you are delusional. More than 10,000 Europeans fighting for them in Iraq and Syria. It is just a matter of time before they organize something similar in the EU.

hitler and stalin got the idea to kill tens of millions of people from the ottmans?

the europeans are no better than anyone else in keeping the peace.

even today putin with his huge russian war machine is 50 times more dangerous than a bunch of muslims with pickup trucks.

its not that i don't think that isis are a bunch of lunatics, its just that the world has the wrong priorities, the white russian europeans are a much bigger threat.

This statement reeks of ignorance and self-satisfying cherry picking non sense. Someone who clearly knows nothing about history.

A crack of last 1000 years of history tells you clearly who is more responsible for killing whom. I bet you are stupid enough to think all the conflict spots in africa today are the results of 'evil colonialism'.

Europeans did a fine job keeping peace since the war, unlike vast majority of places around the world that flare into indiscriminate killing.

You honestly stink of pathetic self hate, something people usually see in those who lost out in competition within mainstream society. Your kind will not find any acceptance or allies anywhere else.

alot of things happened in the last 1000 years, the europeans don't have a better track record than anyone else of keeping the peace in that timeframe.

i dont know if you noticed but the peace in europe is about to end, holding it for 70 years isn't exactly a long time.

you can continue blaming the muslims for all the bad things in the world while your civilized white christian european commrade putin drives with his tanks across your home.

Laughable. Facts don't support what you say, so you blanket it with 'well they weren't any better..' when numbers from research all around the world say otherwise.
