Thought id just copy this template...

My hashsrate about 1007 h/s
Now moneropool.org calculator 1007 h/s = 1.94 XMR/day
1.94/24 = 0.080833 XMR/hour
0.080833 x 9 hours = 0.727497 XMR
Amount owed 0.727497 XMR

Very compelling evidence here. Did you guys know that they have the internet for computers now?

Random use for old hardware...

If you wish that you could stake interest on a more frequent basis why not throw an old USB miner on the BC Multipool? I'm not BC rich, but by doing this it basically gives you full stake interest (Depending on how much BC you hold) every day via mining and you get to reuse your old hardware that would otherwise be collecting dust. I've been doing this for a while and its worked out well. You wont get rich, but its nice to have a small trickle of BC coming in everyday.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XMR/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v5.0 on: July 09, 2014, 07:50:30 PM
Version 5.0 gives me slightly higher GPU power usage (3-7W more) than 4.2 using -a 2, but also gives me 10-12 better h/s (Same performance as -a 1). This is using a 290 with Elpida - 670 h/s

Additionally using 5.0 GPU also made Claymore's CPU miner faster netting me an additional 10-15 h/s there as well. Nice release!
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Selling my GPUs. How to test GPU for any damage? on: July 07, 2014, 08:34:05 PM
I am thinking about downloading a game such as BF4 and running some timedemo for an hour and seeing if it artifacts.
Metro Last Light is pretty taxing and you can run the benchmark for hours on end. I'm not sure if it's still relevant, but Furmark used to be a really good GPU stress test. Good luck, and kudos for keeping the sale honest!
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MAKE MONEY: Monero/XMR GPU mining gets 3x+ times more profit than Scrypt&X11! on: July 07, 2014, 08:09:02 PM
You want to know why XMR is unpopular to mine?  Because the only miner at present for AMD GPUs is closed source and the developer is arguably shady (he either wants 5% of your income or will penalize you 10% of your performance if you don't agree with the fee).

A coin with a 5% premine is usually dead in the water.   Normally it's the coin developers, but this time, it's the miner developer who has his greedy hand in the cookie jar.

While I do agree the developer is free to charge whatever he wants, it's against the spirit of open source that crypto was founded on.

I'm just going to say that you have no idea what you're talking about. Claymore is a standup dev and in very active here on the forum and in chat on ypool.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMS > Proof-Of-Chain > @AGX.io on: July 06, 2014, 06:04:25 PM
Anyone else end up clamless? Only had my DOGE wallet to use, ive mined, held at least a couple million DOGE since it was released and I didn't get any clams Sad  Cool coin none the less!

Tried again from scratch and with an older wallet.dat. I used the "--salvagewallet" command on first start and the clam nazi said "No Clams For You!!!" It was worth a shot, thanks for your help everyone!

Anybody experiencing issues with their wallet syncing? Mine keeps getting stuck right at the end at 5 hrs behind, running the latest 64 bit QT.
Block issues caused by Digishield. That's why everyone is screaming about PoS in this threa Smiley Well, that and the reduced inflation.  Cheesy

Apologize, the ASIC farm rental ran out in the middle of the night and my staff did not re-new until about an hour ago...we are back up and mining now

Thanks for the update!

433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: If you had access to unlimited free power (AC)... Best Answer Wins .01 BTC! on: July 02, 2014, 12:10:22 PM
It all depends on what you want to mine. Every algo has it's strengths and weaknesses and there is always the debate of GPU vs ASIC, ill do my best to summarize my personal opinion on the matter.

* Video cards - The Radeon is king, no if and's or but's about it. The 280 / 290 are the best performance out there for GPU and they have the widest support for mining different algorithms, loaded with a custom BIOS by the stilt they can't be beat. The Nvidia 750 Ti is a great card when considering overall power / performance ratio, and they are terrific at X11, but compared to the higher end Radeon cards they just cant compete.

One thing to consider before purchasing any GPU setup is that the 2xx series Radeon's will be replaced by a newer model later this year / early next year that are sure to offer better performance. The same holds true for Nvidia, their Maxwell chip will begin to be integrated into higher end parts later this year. These new cards could very well give the Radeon line a run for its money.

*ASIC - If you put your money into ASIC's you will get a SIGNIFICANTLY higher amount of hash power for your money, with the primary downfall of only being able to mine Scrypt or SHA256. FPGA options are available for other algorithms, but its cumbersome and help / documentation for these setups are scarce.

Bottom Line = Make a small GPU farm and set aside some space for a couple ASIC units to mine scrypt, or just go all in on GPU (It will EAT power). Many people will tell you GPU mining is dead; I disagree. If you want to ROI or make a profit you will need to follow the markets and watch new coin launches like a hawk. If you just want to set it and forget it you will never make a profit. Hope this helped, good luck!
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] POW ENDING at 50k | DACs | MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 6/23/2014 on: July 01, 2014, 08:33:20 PM
I will keep watching for any progress on the issue, but all of you have been warned about dealing with this obvious scam

Please take this in the most polite way possible, but I think its time you stopped. You've made your point, multiple times over now. The constant name calling and usage of foul language is doing nothing to help your cause. I don't feel the Noir Group is a trustworthy entity and with a 50% drop today it would appear that the markets agree as well. Everything will come to light in due time, just let nature run it's course.

435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NRS|NoirShares] POW ENDING at 50k | DACs | MANDATORY WALLET UPDATE 6/23/2014 on: July 01, 2014, 01:54:58 PM
I dunno, this new "community" accusing the nrs of a scam has no proof of it? Often times it is better to just ignore the trolls than it is to feed them. The team is working on the wallet issues, which is a lot more important than dealing with some stupid personal problems.

I am all for shedding light on things. To accuse them of premining, then when someone says it wasn't premined, you say they are lying, yet have no PROOF of them lying and ask for a "real dev" to look at the code. Well shit, how did YOU know it was premined then? Shouldn't you have been a real dev able to look at the code.

To touch upon that, just because the block count is low doesn't mean they can't set the generation of shares to a high figure for the first few blocks. It winds up looking like "if hieght<=10 set generate=10000" or some stupid shit like that, i am not a coder but have seen what laz was talking about in other coins.

Again, trust is something that is earned. I am guessing laz dumped his coins and his share of the general fund and has nothing to lose now by trying to bring the coin down? It is cool for the rest of us... dick. Because without any proof, that is exactly how it looks. Baseless accusations.

Oh my god! They just copied and pasted someones OPEN SOURCE code. Who gives a shit? In all honesty i would rather have the devs using WORKING code from someone else than try to do something them selves and fail. If you think you can't be successful utilizing what others have done, look up utility patents.

So what is the scam? People bought into the general fund, they bought miners with that money, the used the mining proceeds for what ever, and now the general fund members are upset? Someone supposedly dumped 132k nrs? That is the scam? They used some of the funds from the mining operation to start the noirpool.com which wound up going down and never getting fixed? That is the scam? What were the promises to begin with? It is hard to say things are SCAMS vs. just failures. PROOF?

Some chat logs were posted in the thread last night, which were removed shortly there after (They were quite condemning). There have been several allegations and general questions directed to the dev, to which he has completely ignored. To settle this nonsense, the community has simply asked for an explanation which they have not yet received.

"Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...."

The latest issues surrounding NRS are only the half of it...

*The abrupt change to eliminate POW - At least we were given a couple days lead time before the change, but NRS holders had no say in it and furthermore were given no explanation as to the reason for the change.

*Wallet issues - It's already been stated, but the fact still remains. A development team promising a wealth of DAC's with an unheard of level of sophistication can't quite cut it when it comes to a working wallet for their platform. I'm not a coder, but that strikes me as being quite odd.

*Noir Pool - If you read through this thread from the beginning you will see the primary focus for everyone involved was to get more NRS, get more NRS! The Noir Pool was a catalyst to that very idea. I first started to question the NRS team when they claimed this pool was their first DAC, however they quickly edited that statement to "DAC Style" The first release of the Noir Pool wasn't innovative, multiple other pools were using the same interface / back end (hasher.ca)  and it was clunky to say the least. Then, one day, without warning it gone, just gone,. It eventually came back weeks later, but the fact still remains,  this is the only offering that we've seen from the NRS team and its integrity has been questionable from the start.

*Community - I don't feel I need to explain this one. There are users here that have supported NRS since day one and they are a vocal minority. However if you read this thread from start to finish you will see a good deal of cheerleading from new users that have only posted in this thread claiming the dev is a god and NRS is the best thing since sliced bread. On top of that you will begin to find multiple comments being repeated verbatim from different users basically creating a manufactured level of enthusiasm for a coin that hasn't delivered on any promises.

*Noirbits - NRS is the dev's second project after Noirbits (to my knowledge) and it was a colossal train wreck. Check the threads here or even on the official noirbits forum to get an idea what im talking about. Noirbits was a coin with a vision, which failed due to lack of dev involvement and a slew of broken promises. NRS was supposed to revive Noirbits.. somehow, but all questions asked about this, much like the current questions at hand have remained unanswered.

I encourage everyone here to perform there own due diligence and come to their own conclusions regarding the future of NRS. For me its been a fun ride, but im not going down with the ship. Good luck everyone!

437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BLAKE-256] DIRAC (XDQ) - Advanced Finance on: June 28, 2014, 03:25:55 PM
BLAKE is dying it seems. only bad coins without good exchanges or people interested

nope its barely even started the MMO games are due and that was the main reason for creating Blakecoin in the first place unlike most other coins it has a purpose beyond Crypto world and BS market cap values!

Also more coins due to be added to the merged pools soon just been busy with work and not had time to finish the testing of front end extension

Long term support is key to good coins imho there is no rush in creating something better it takes time and Blake is going to be about for years this is a fact!

a coin that is all hype/spin/market manipulation in first few months then dead is a bad coin  Roll Eyes

Exchanges and Market cap value as the sole focus of development is just a bad idea imho, solid network hashrate and good pools are the key foundation to longevity as it is what keeps the network and transactions working and safe

BLC is a great coin, period. I'm not quite sold on the rest of the coins in the current Blake ecosystem, but for what they lack in mass appeal, they make up for it in network stability and community. I've seen your posts in the majority of new Blake coin threads and you're always helpful to the community, no matter how trivial the question, thats huge.

Sorry things haven't worked out for Dirac, but im pretty certain that this coin would be dead / dying if it weren't for the help of the Blake256 merge network keeping it alive. I've asked too many questions with this coin, and I never got any real answers from Bryce here in this thread or on twitter. This thread has been a disaster from early on, ive been patient with his other coins but there are too many red flags to continue my support here or elsewhere for his projects.

BlueDragon747, I have a lot of faith in the Blake ecosystem, and I hope that ill be mining another Blake coin sooner rather than later. Thanks for being a tremendous asset to the community. For everyone else, good luck with Dirac!

Am I looking at the right Nautilus Buyback Wallet Address? I thought it was to have a balance of 25,000? (I only see 2,022)

http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/address/NasWubPMuMaExrP94u6F2jFoeKM154r9up

Am I missing something?

As of the date and time of this post, this information is correct. NOTE - The main block explorer from http://www.nautiluscoin.com/ is not operational at the moment, but according to my wallet the page referenced matches the current block. A clear explanation from the dev would be welcome at this point.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No ROI on future Mining, its a FACT! on: June 25, 2014, 07:45:25 PM
If you're looking to start mining with GPU / ASIC and want to set it and forget it to make profit, it's not going to happen. If you want to take the time to study markets / forums & mine different coins on a daily basis then you will ROI, perhaps more than you could ever imagine if you have the discipline to hold long.

The best is yet to come. Speculate on price all you want, this coin is solid. If you're working on trading strategies from information in this thread then you need to rethink your game plan. The landscape of BC will change significantly by the end of the year, I hope to see all of you when we get there!
