421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: January 28, 2018, 11:35:25 PM

I feel you mate, I remember when I started trading like a year ago. I lost everything trading bitcoin to another coin, it did frustrates me but did not stop me. Failing is part of being the success, but yeah if you don't have any luck or knowledge understand the market and controlling your emotions then you are bound to fail.
I am not really a fan of trading, I am just holding bitcoin as much as I can so that I can use it in the future after a big pump. I am not after to those who believes and becoming rich at trading, I am so proud of them that they can make this thing. I have tried trading also but did not continue not because I lose but because I don't have much time to focus on it.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 28, 2018, 11:23:20 PM
you have an interesting definition of stable. mostly boring and occasionally scary is a better description.

this is a dead time of year always and all of crypto just had the most incredible run. parties ain't meant to last. many exchanges are still closed to new users. google searches have cooled off big time.

consolidation after what just happened is the best case scenario. i'm not sure whether we're gonna get it.

A very very strange definition of stable, it's been nothing but stable. The price has probably changed more in terms of swings in this month than most others. Right now it's fairly stable but that's because of the consolidation and that a bottom seems to have been found.
It is not that stable as people are thinking in fact the price of bitcoin really fluctuates now, and we don't have a concrete date when it will rise again, but it doesn't matter since a month has just passed so we are looking forward for a good start this coming month as someone said that it is already predicted that it would come up rise this coming month.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is over trading a good idea? on: January 28, 2018, 11:02:11 PM
Is over trading a good idea? If not, why do you think it isn't? What are the pros and cons in over trading? Is it advisable u buy or sell your coin everytime you saw a slightly movement in the value of bitcoins?

Overtrading makes you very tired. While doing this, you will get tired and you will lose your strength. Instead of doing this, trade if and only if you see great opportunity. Trading like a machine is not good.
There is nothing wrong with overtrading, you can trade as long as you want, as far as you’re making money, then nothing is wrong with it.The only time I will say it is wrong is when you are losing and still keeps on trading. But as for when you’re making profit, you can continue trading as long as your want.

none here can explain what over trading is lol...in my understating op refers to either making too much money in a single day, or under earning. In either way, the question makes no sense
Agree buddy, he was indeed referring to allotting more of his money doing trading which is not a good idea as it involves risk factor in many ways. Such as when all coins goes down and your money were all their then you cannot maximize your money anymore and when emergency comes the tendency is you will lose your money if you have decided to get all of it.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: January 27, 2018, 04:15:02 PM
For those teens who have no knowledge yet to avoid of being lack of financial education , i suggest to educate your selves how to save money and perhaps google is the best ways to enhance our mindset cause as i see nowadays there are some useful tips from some experts arround the internet indeed that is a big help.
It is our duty and responsibility as an individual to explore ourselves don't rely everything and in school as it would not give you all the things that we need to learn, they are just a stepping guide for us to be able to do what are the things that we need first and after that it depends on us how we move forward for ourselves.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: January 27, 2018, 03:36:42 PM
Bitcoin is banned by government because, government feel threaten and they don't have  control over bitcoin, government feel bitcoin is illegal because it not a register company, no tax, so they feel is illegal, and banned it.

Few demerits which govt or the organized body consider is that : -

1) It can be misused easily and it can cause a national threat .
2) Black money can be easily rotated and deposited anywhere in the world through this means.
3) Its is traceable but not fully in direct control of the govt like how banks accounts are.
4) Misappropriate in the taxes can happen through this form.

It is not actually banned they are just saying it in the social media that it should not be tolerated, they are just giving restrictions about it.
And they don't want the idea  in bitcoin as they kept saying that they are just manipulating the price of bitcoin and are just scamming people and in the end they will all get the funds of it.

426  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: January 26, 2018, 05:51:39 PM
I think that education is schools is missing more than just education of finances.
When the teenagers leave school, they have no idea what insurances are needed in life, or what to do when they are unemployed.
There should be a school subject called practical life.
Some basic edjucation about how life in the country you live in works.
Maybe, because they are not obliged to focus in it they were paid for them to focus on personal character, as school is just there for us to build our good personality, they teach us to be disciplined and how to value time more than anything else just like money. It is okay for me if my children won't learn such thing as I want as their parent to teach it for their future preference.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont invest all your Bitcoin in 1 source on: January 26, 2018, 03:42:38 PM
Just like stock, you can invest all your money for a coin code if you really trust. But that would be very dangerous. One can make sure that the coin will not fall down to 0 a day.
The advice is to diversify your portfolio. That will help reduce the risk. You do not earn much but if not lost also much.
It is not always necessary to stick to one especially in crypo market, I agree that we need to explore things out. Don't just focus in a single reference, it is also risky just like bank account, don't just depend on a single bank as if that bank suddenly fire out, there is just a minimum amount that you can recover so if you have millions there, you cannot get it all.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 26, 2018, 02:47:54 PM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
Even if I did, what's the use? The needy people are the ones who are illiterate and don't have enough basic necessities. I'd rather donate them some food, clothes and some more basic amenities to the needy rather than handing out bitcoin outright, which they won't understand and throw it away and that amount of bitcoin too will join with the bitcoin that has been lost because of carelessness. So my answer is no.
Needy people needs shelter, money or food but not bitcoin, if I were to bless  some people I would be glad to share what I do have but not bitcoin, it is not that I am selfish it is just that they don't need bitcoin. And for those who really have almost everything while we are still young and can still share what we have, share it we cannot carry our money in our pit.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PURCHASE BITCOIN? on: January 25, 2018, 02:23:03 PM
It's risky to trade Bitcoin while it's showing this pattern. We will never know the next direction it takes unless it has already started to move...

I bet you've seen the ups and downs of bitcoin and you knew the fact that it always repeating its history so there's no way not to believe its capacity. While the price below $10k is the best time to buy and the mere fact that whatever the price you bought you can still profit with it and that's the reality tho.
For me there is no best time as every time should always be the best time to invest, if I do have money and I know that my goal for that would be allotted for our future, then no matter what the price is I would buy bitcoin immediately as I don't to waste my time in thinking whether the price later or tomorrow would become high, I know that no matter how much bitcoin now for sure I could earn as it will rise in the future.
430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: January 24, 2018, 10:12:28 PM
If my principles will continue to try harder after experiencing a loss because in trading certainly not far from the word loss and profit so make me more excited to continue to try it, although sometimes do not get maximum results.

I generally analyze my mistakes not to repeat them in the following trade positions. That's why we need to stay calm and not react every single mistake we made in the past. Need to figure out detailed about them.
I am not thinking that I am not good in trading whenever I am encountering loss, well in face I don't have much loss, most of the time I am gaining profit.
If that happens, I would not be sad and treat it as a challenge, well in fact we can still join trading anytime and we can cover up the temporary loss we have incurred. Just make a corrective action plan so it won't happen again.
431  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: January 24, 2018, 01:19:49 PM
I don't know the exact time to teach my children the crypto,
But I think at the earliest after their elementary school, it was their understanding ability is likely to become strong many, if it is too early they crypto, they may not understand what is this
We don't need to teach kids to something like this one, but we don't need to teach them how trading works or how to invest, let us just state this in simplest way that 'this is a cryptocurrency where in it can be an alternative to cash, and as time is passing by its value is increasing, but sometimes goes down whenever a lot of users withdrew their investment.'
432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ICO investment Risk on: January 24, 2018, 12:34:47 PM
I just work on bounty at this moment. But every person have a dream.I have a dream.I want to make a big investor.I want to invest on ICO.Can anyone explain me, Have any risk involved invest money on ICO?

There is always a risk investing in ICOs because even though you know the people behind the people through their announcement, there is still a tendency for them to just make up those people or just use the name of the person without the knowing of the actual person. There is also the risk that the team would abandon the project after the ICO. There are ICOs that are successful and reach the hardcap but after the ICO, the team behind it suddenly run away leaving those investors behind. As cliche as it may sound, but invest only what you can afford to lose because we never know what will be the outcome. Many people become rich joining ICOs but they are those that hold the coins as long as they can and the team did not abandon the project.
Just keep in mind that we are surrounded by scam so we should know everything that we need to learn in investing in an ICO as it is too risky but profitable most of the time, but there were also ICO who would steal the money entirely after having enough amount of money that they have raised, so it it is important to prevent it and should learn and seek proofs before investing.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 24, 2018, 11:51:29 AM
I just quit my office job to have full time in crypto world. I split my time of day to work manything: doing bounty campains, researching good crypto to invest, trading 3 - 4 times per week (not day trading) and may be next time i'll  learn about mining.
Anyone who has been off work like me can share your experiences?

If you can do that then I think you have the guts mate. For me, I would suggest or agree with that because cryptomarket trading is quite an unreliable source of income, although it is true that you can hit the jackpot and win big profit if you did the right trades, you cannot also discard the fact you could also lose in many occasions which would equal to loss of money to be used to support yourself and your family. It is always better to have that contingency and security of a steady income, which could only be given by a full-time job.
Good thing for those who have the guts to quit their job, if I would have the chance I would do same thing if I would just have enough savings for me to start trading and to quit my job so I can render full time doing it  then I would love to do that much more that what I am doing in my current job with so much stress, toxic and pressure but the salary is not increasing instantly.
434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin prices not rising! should we trade or hold? on: January 23, 2018, 11:01:08 PM
The value of bitcoin is still at it high price, it is not just rising guys but still high. So do not frustrate about what is happening now that it is not rising, at least it is keeping at its stable price. Just take risk otherwise we will lose all if we will sell at its current price.  Keeping our eye to open for the news would be better for us to keep relaxing and not panic about the status now.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: January 23, 2018, 03:44:04 PM
We are here not only for a reason to become rich or to earn money, we are here because we believe in changes and to strengthen the cryptocurrency world, if some would just discriminate or even give a negative feedback without enough proof and a purely mere accusation about it then how we are able to encourage some of the people to invest as well just like we are doing right? Remember, we are the one creating value in crypto currencies.
436  Other / Archival / Re: I could be millonaire now (BUT NOT) on: January 23, 2018, 03:16:07 PM
You know what, I bought some bitcoins when the price was $1000+ and suddenly the price dropped to $400. I thought it was the

end of Bitcoin, but I held on and I even bought more at $400. Some of those bitcoins that I bought at $400 were sold for $18,000+

and still hoarded more than 50% of the coins I bought back then. The secret is --<< NEVER Sell ALL your coins >>--  Grin

Your story will probably help me and other users watching this forum in a future! Thanks for your opinion!
It was just a beginning of your holding, if you would have the chance to continue then do it as not everyone has given the opportunity to do it, some wants to but lack of financial, and some are hiding from their fear. If you would hold your coin and convert it after five years then your status would have been 'I am now a millionaire, thanks to bitcoin'.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Taxing Bitcoins Possible? on: January 23, 2018, 02:57:46 PM
I have been thinking of this for long and the reason being that a lot of bitcoin transaction is going online everyday in many countries and i think government can generate IGR from this if possible. I am not a programmer and i have a little knowledge about bitcoin technologies but i just want to know if it is possible.

Yes it is possible if government will handle the cryptocurrency in different countries. It was a very bad idea if they will place tax on bitcoins since the tips on exchanger is very expensive today. Placing a tax on bitcoins is a very bad idea for the government it was like they will only milk the miners from getting taxes to them.
It really depends in each country, if a certain country will put up bitcoin in their market then it is not possible to have to imposed tax on it, just like what South korea wanted to do with those people investing not only in bitcoin but to the whole cryptocurrencies as they don't like someone avoiding tax, they don't really want to ban crypto they just wanted to imposed tax on it by stating the real name of each person investing in the market as much as possible.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why this sharp drop in currencies ? on: January 22, 2018, 10:14:36 PM
More correction likely.
Expect at least a double bottom.
So 9k is in reach again.
If we can't hold this level, we will go down to 8k.
I would like to see the price to move up. But reality is we are still in the correction and as long we don't see any significant buying pressure pushing us up, I remain bearish.
We are bound to this drop as it was expected to drop in the price due to the fact that we are affected with their decision in blocking the crypto currencies in accessing to their local and offshore which has a material impact for us.
Although, this month was something big and we have encountered a big correction that would be just a temporary although hard to see that it would rise to $20k this month.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces crash again. on: January 22, 2018, 09:58:50 PM
Bitcoin is not facing a crash, it is just the mentality we have and we are expecting beyond what bitcoin can offer to us. It is just a normal what we are experiencing right now due to some unforeseen happened in Asian and their respective banks, it was really unpredictable. And one of the factor is that we must to do to help the bitcoin community is to keep holding and encourage our friends and love ones to do the same rather than screaming here in forum.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Jumps High This year on: January 22, 2018, 02:39:25 PM
I think 2018 would be the best year for us .More rising of price value because many will deal and engage in bitcoin due to its popularity so many people are interested to invest in cryptocurrency. The best year for bitcoin the investors are rapidly growing and getting bigger for this year.
Well, a lot of cryptocurrency will rise this year according the status of coinmarketcap and as the demand is continuously increasing from time to time, this year expectation by everyone would likely to happen especially when Wallstreet would get interested in bitcoin then it is a good news for everyone and as of the moment a lot of companies were getting interested with it too, even the large companies.
