Maybe cryptonotes are still worth it? Check the profit calculator here (in the top menu).

Does http://dsh.extremepool.org/ stop DSH mining?

Just use Minergate  Wink
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest $10,000 into Quark or Dogecoin? on: September 14, 2014, 11:49:43 AM
I'd buy some of the cryptonote coins (Monero, Bytecoin, DuckNote, Quazarcoin ...)

@Dev,What's the tranaction fee now?
I've mined .41 bil,but only received less than 0.4bil.  Huh Huh

claymore gpu miner 5% and claymore cpu miner 5% or yam miner 1-2% dev fees, it adds up really.

How much better is the Claymore CPU than the minerd (multiminer)? Is it worth the 5%?

You can also try the nice GUI miner from Minergate Smiley

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any CPU coins worth mining with my cloud servers? on: September 12, 2014, 05:48:19 PM
Hello there.
I have a crazy amount of cloud servers with really powerful CPU's, and I was wondering if there is any way I can put them to work making me money. I don't have to pay anything for them, but I'd still like to be making around a half or third what the electricity costs the people running them. I won a bunch of credit on the site and I don't want to have to go to all the trouble of selling Minecraft servers or something like that.
Cheers.

I would suggest to mine some cryptonotes (e.g. Monero, Bytecoin, Ducknotes ...). See e.g. Minergate (they also have profit calculator).

Dev,why the command on DSH is so few?
What other commands do you need?

For example: "increase_dsh_price <x>" where x is how many %.

thank you. I will wait ...

Sometimes the daemon seems to be stuck for very long time, let's say it says "59 days behind", but it's working. If you want to check, you can write the "exit" command to close the daemon, then open it again and it will show the current state.

436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Pool Minergate [PPS 1.5%] [PPLNS 1%] BTC-LTC-BCN-XMR-QCN-FCN-XDN-MCN on: September 01, 2014, 12:05:20 PM
For me some of the coins work ok, but for others I'm getting a lot of errors, resulting in lower effective hashrate.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since July, 2012 on: September 01, 2014, 10:14:37 AM
Between BCN and DSH, I'd choose to mine BCN

And it is very good choice! BCN has a lot of competitive advantages Cool

Why not mine BBR? You would get more profit by mining BBR.

With the GUI miner on Minergate I set my CPU to mine 4 threads BCN, 4 threads DSH and I'm merge-mining FCN and MCN on top of it  Grin

Good News!
I am proud to present the first aeon coin market.

In order to give some real value to the coin, I thought of creating an online marketplace where we can all share and distribute digital products for now in order to get the coin out of the whole bitcoin exchange niche. It is time for the coin to be matched to real world products to prove its value and strength, and to prove that it is serious and here to stay and not just a shitty altcoin that hopes to be the next bitcoin.

Visit tradeaeon.com to check it out.

Anyone can sign up as a seller, and anyone can be a buyer.
I suggest keeping prices below 1 aeon to begin with, so that we don’t deflate the coin.
I’m not a webdesigner, but rather an aeon coin enthusiast, so all suggestions and ideas for future development of the website are welcome.

Please share the link with the community and other enthusiasts and start trading people!

tradeaeon.com

PS: i have no financial gain from the website :-) , i just want to see this coin start up properly!

The site looks good, but it will need much more offers to get running.

I think you need more pools to get running... try e.g. Minergate  Smiley
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Who's still CPU mining? on: August 31, 2014, 09:52:20 PM
Is cpu mining more profitable compare to gpu?
I seriously hope that you are kidding me right now?
No, it's not even comparable, you won't even be able pay for the electricity used. CPU mining is dead.
(GPU mining is not profitable either btw.)

So they are comparable... profitability of both of them sucks  Grin
