Maybe it was a good idea to dump alts for Bitcoin a month or two ago, but now when almost all alts are deep in red numbers I would rather HODL. It's usually not a very good idea to sell something that's low to buy something that's high right now. The cards can change any time and maybe we'll be surprised. My bet is that the money from Bitcoin will start flowing back to alts sooner or later (I'm not saying that Bitcoin will go down though).

Wow, that's great news indeed. Since NovaExchange will be closing soon, we really needed some decent exchange to list DeepOnion. And Cryptopia is a good choice, they have decent trading volumes and reliable service. Although, of course, it's just a next step towards Bittrex and Poloniex

That's indeed a nice addition to the website, I was always curious to see how are wo doing. It's also nice to see that the number of airdrop participants is increasing quite rapdly thanks to the new rules. I just hope that the devs will also fix the stats page at https://deeponion.org/stats.html, it showed very clearly how many Onions each airdrop addres has and how many hodlers / dumpers do we have.

I hope they get noticed at Devcon3 although it is 20 min presentation(main hall after all).
Yep, let's hope it will have a positive impact. In any case, the market finally seems to be moving again. There's this conference which should help attract some attention to Mysterium, also the development news should be published again maybe in a couple of days, hopefully with an updated roadmap, so the overall mood seems to be positive

Well, they have said already when they were banning ICOs and exchanges that the ban is temporary, only until they prepare some legal framework for it. o it's not surprising that they are lifting the ban now. I would be actually very surprised if they made the ban permanent, because they would loose a lot of money and business opportunities.

For those who don't know, the Mysterium team is going to have a presentation of Devcon3 Ethereum Foundation’s annual developers conference on November 4 Hopefully they will attract more supporters and maybe start some new collaborations. In any case, it means better visibility for the Mysterium project. Link to the conference program: https://ethereumfoundation.org/devcon3/agenda/

Heh, that's a nice idea for a giveaway But I bet that if many people are aware about this, when we reach the end of page 1699, something like 20 posts will suddenly appear within one second Anyways, it's nice to see how fast out thread is growing, I've never seen so many posts in ANN thread in such a short time in any other project. This really shows how big and strong the DeepOnion community is.

I bet that the Bitcoin Cash's rise is purely a pump and dump scheme of some rich guys to get some quick profit out of it. The pump has already started, so it's very risky to buy into it now. But if you have any remaining BCH coins, I would sell them now... it might be the last chance to get rid of them at higher price. In long term, I think that investing in Bitcoin Cash is not a good idea as the coin will probably just slowly die over time... there's no real reason why it should exist and I consider it to a purely speculative asset with no future.

I just want to suggest something. There should be a maximum cap for airdrop, so even if someone has huge amount of Onions, he would get only limited number in the airdrop, for example 1000 or 2000 Onions. This way it will be more fair, otherwise, the very rich few members will take like half of the airdrop fund.
This is actually a good idea. In general the new airdrop mechanism is much better IMHO, but it is true that we should avoid having a very few whales who can afford to buy huge amounts of Onions and then take let's say 80% of the airdrop every week. This is not in the interest of DeepOnion and it would be frustrating for most participants.

It is true that all other coins are slowly falling agains BTC, although not against USD. Bitcoin is rising very fast lately and people are probably not valuing other coins that much agains USD. The USD price of altcoins thus stays steady or rises quite slowly and alt/BTC price is falling. In order to see some change in this, some reason would have to appear that would make people stop believing so much in Bitcoin and make them transfer their funds from Bitcoin to altcoins. Maybe the Segwit2x hardfork, in the case it will look very unpredictible and messy, could be such reason.

I have a question. Hope that some of the developers will see it.
Is there going to be some advertisement campaign?
This project is something that is really going to change the game. I am ready to volunteer so just to be part of it. If this isn't the future of private networks I don't know what else could be.
What do you mean? If you are meaning a bounty campaign, it already happened. Now team is working on building the actual product, and I can easily say they picked up recently and started showing real progress, so I won't expect a marketing effort before we have an actual product. By the way, updated roadmap is coming for Myst... Github activity also picked up. Not only the Github activity, but also the market picked up... the trading volume has tripled today and the price rised by about 20% (MYST/BTC). The new development update should be published in about a week or so, hopefully with some good news, so maybe the price will finally increase a bit again. The Github activity probably increased because the new developer joined the works.

Yes, it is a nice gain, but it's quite obvious that people are simply moving their funds from Bitcoin back to altcoin after the Bitcoin Gold forks. So all altcoins are in green numbers, and some of them with even much higher gains than Ethereum. This was expected, nothing surprising. We will see how the Segwit2x hard fork will move prices of both Bitcoin and altcoins... that might be much more interesting

Introducing DeepPoints! Earn Onions for you posts and received likes. I'm happy that DeepOnion is moving in the right way - rewarding the current real activity instead of the "social status" given by the Bitcoin Talk forum membership level. I'm looking forward to hear more info about the new airdrop system in general, but it seems it's heading in the good direction

Feedback needed for new coming signatures please tell us if anything we can improve? It's very nice and neat, better than the old signatures. I just think that the background behind the "DeepOnion" in Hero member signature is unnecessary. OK, Hero Members can have text backgrounds, but it doesn't mean we have to use it. In my opinion it's disturbing and the Senior Member signature looks even better and more professional without it.

I wish you all the best with the Anoncoin. However, I think that DeepOnion has much better potential to become a mainstream anonymity-oriented coin. Anoncoin is live for more than 4 years now and it doesn't have even 10% of the community size of DeepOnion, which was released just a few months ago. And it's quite clear that supporting community is the second most important thing to make a coin successful, right after good devs. DO has both I don't know how long that community would last. We need to see after the last airdrop. Well, most of the airdrop participants who will stay until the end will be holding quite a few Onions, so it will be in their own interest to support the coin so it prospers. Some will sell just after the airdrop of course, but I think that majority would hodl. I thus think that majority of the community will stay even after the airdrop is finished. Also, with this airdrop mechanism, the coin will be well spread among many people, which is much better start than having few whales.

Although so many coins/projects intend to use bancor protocols, the price is still going down everyday. Why this happened? I am very confused, is it BNT dead?
It is not a lot of projects to use the bancor protocol, only a few projects using bancor protocol bancor need more projects to use bancor protocol to increase bancor value, dozens or even hundreds of items The first thing is that all altcoins are going down, not only Bancor. Among other factors, it's probably caused by the Bitcoin Gold fork - people are moving funds to BTC to get free Bitcoin Gold. And yes, there will have to many more projects, and big ones, running on Bancor to significantly increase the BNT price. It will happen sooner or later, but it's not the case just yet. Be patient

The BitSync airdrop doesn't seem to be very profitable though. According to their website, the total coin supply is 100 million and you can get 250 coins by joining the airdrop. That's peanuts considering the total supply, so it's basically just a "promotional airdrop", not a real airdrop. They also allow only 1000 airdrop participants, so even if everybody does some bonus tasks and gets let's say 1000 coins, still only 1% of the coins will be airdropped.

I think that in general the new website looks great. I have just two suggestions: 1. It would be better if the "Join Airdrop" button was below the condition. It can stay also in the top menu, but it should take people to the airdrop conditions to make sure they read it. Maybe also adding a checkbox before applying with something like "I've read and understand the airdrop terms and conditions. I understand that not complying with the terms may lead to my rejection from the airdrop" would be a good idea. 2. I think that it would be better to have all information and community resources all together on one website. Making another website deeponion.help would make it fragmented and confucing. In any case, I love the new website design. Making the wallet in the same design would be great Keep up the great work!

Calvin Ayre can declare whatever he wants, he can also say that the sun is not real. But Bitcoin Cash never was and never will be THE Bitcoin. It is purely speculative asset with no real value and it will stay like that. It was hyped at the begnning, but in 5 years it will not even be in the Top 10 list anymore.
