There is a new article discussing the Mysterium price, explaining where are the supports and resistances and why. Check it if you plan to invest in MYST, it can be very helpful. Based on the info therein, it looks like 0.0006 - 0.001 BTC is a reasonable price to hit after the news from devs are out.
Could you share the link by any chance? Ah, sorry, I wanted to paste it but completely forgot about it That's what happens when you are doing million things at the same time Here's the link: https://coins.newbium.com/post/9336-mysterium-network-where-you-can-earn-additional-mo

As long as I know, all coins using the cryptonight hashing algorythm (Monero, Bytecoin, Aeon, DigitalNote, etc.) are quite CPU-friendly. It's still a bit better to mine them with GPU, but the advantage is not that big if you have a new CPU which has the AVS/AVX instruction set.

Well, if all the features listed on the roadmap are really launched this year, Waves can easily go x10. There will be a long road to hit the market cap of Ethereum though, although long-term it's not impossible.

It looks like MYST found its bottom at 0.0002 BTC and both price and trading volume are increasing Probably a lot of people are pre-buying before the expected new announcement I'm curious to see how big hype it's going to make.

There's a lot of ICOs finishing around these days, which will create their smart tokens on Bancor network. This will bring a lot of money into Bancor, so the price should really jump up in the following days/weeks. It is however hard to say if it's going to be a long-term or just short-term increase... both options are quite possible.

Hey guys,
I'm thinking of investing a bit of money into some relatively new token with low market cap (let's say below $20 mil.), so it would have a big potential to grow. I checked quite a few and I'm thinking of putting the money into Mysterium.
They seem to have a solid project - a decentralized VPN sounds like a good idea to me, since I personally don't really trust the classical centralized ones (they promise not to keep traffic logs, but who knows). The only drawback I see there is a very limited communication with the public, despite of a lot of work being done. This, however, can actually be an advantage since probably "thanks" to this the MYST price has been going down for about three months now. I think it can't really go much lower and the trend already seems to be slowing down and turning, which makes me believe it's probably a good time to jump in. My guess is that the price can skyrocket once the development news are finally properly communicated.
I am however not very experienced in crypto in general, so I'd like to know your opinion and hear any advice you may have. Do you think that it could go at least x10, let's say within a year or so?
Thanks.
Heh, it looks like you were right about the Mysterium price Newbie There was a double bottom at 0.0002 BTC, then a third a bit above those two, all at low volumes (i.e. nobody wants to sell at such a low price). Then there's a lot of buy orders appearing and the trend is obviously turning upwards. It's already a good sign and the expected news were not even published yet. I'll probably jump on the train too

TimeHacker DeepSend when does it appear?
There is no exact ETA yet, but it is planned for Q4 2017 and the devs announced that they are working on it hard now. And since they are very active, I would give it about 2 months to appear. Some development news might arrive earlier though.

I've been checking quite a few low-cap coins and tokens recently, as I'm thinking where to place my next investment. Most of them went though some hype or pump & dump already, but I found one called Mysterium which seems to be quite unnoticed yet. It is a decentralized VPN project that seems to be very promising, except for badly communicated development news which is probably causing the low publicity (and thus also price). After a brief check it looks like the team is doing a good job for now, so I'm expecting that the price should rise quite a lot once they improve their communication with the public and investors. In short: very good project with a lack of marketing (for now).
Mysterium looks good, I like the project. There should be also some good news announced in the following days, so it might be a good time to buy now. There also seems to be a lot of buy orders appearing on Bittrex. In my opinion I can recommend you DeepOnion. If you canīt be part of the airdrops, you can buy it in Novaexchange at cheapest price.
The dev is working in 2 new features and it will be launched soon (probably the next month). And he will post the whitepaper soon too.
So I think itīs a great opportunity to invest in DeepOnion now.
Yes, DeepOnion is also a good investment for the following weeks. Right now the price is low, because is being pushed down by the airdrop-cause inflation. But when the airdrop is finished, is should start increasing quite a lot. Also releasing the new DeepSend feature should cause a bit of hype.

Whats the difference between an decentralized VPN like mysterium and TOR browser? sorry if its is a noob question
Long story short: decentralized VPN basically combines the advantages or VPN and TOR, while getting rid of the disadvantages of both. But if you want details, check the white paper that kmxl45 posted above, there's the whole comparison and the proposed design of the Mysterium network.

I think we just have to give them more time. It's true that they are not the best in communicating the progress, but I'm sure that they're working hard and will deliver. For weak hands: Yes, also the price will go up once some development news are finally published The thing is that maybe it's just enough to show the community that they're working hard. That's reasonable demand Yes, for the community it's probably OK, but the investors tend to be a bit nervous for their money Anyways, I've seen on Telegram that there should be some good news published soon, which should settle the flames for some time and maybe also positively impact the price

I'd say that many (if not majority) of the new ICOs / tokens are bullshit, but I think you chose one of the very few good ones. I didn't invest in Mysterium 'cause I missed the ICO, but IMHO it's a solid project with a good plan and a dedicated team. I've seen on Telegram that they should come up with some good news in a few days, so maybe this is a good time to invest as you say. (If they don't skip the "let people know what you've done" part as usual )

Hey, take a look at DeepOnion. It's one of the few privacy-oriented coins - it runs over TOR network. Only 2+ months old, but with already huge and growing supportive community and very active devs. Market cap is only ~ $3.5 mil, so it has a lot of space to grow, especially after the airdrop is finished and it hits big exchanges.

Also bitcoin cash can be using fully in China, so it can rise up.
Except that Bitcoin Cash is not used at all. There almost zero BCH transactions, because almost nobody is using it and no businesses are accepting it. It is good only for speculation, nothing else. And as was mentioned above, BCH has very few developers, so you also can't expect miracles in development.

So the KICKICO's ICO is over... do you know when do they plan to actually create their smart token on Bancor network? That should also increase the Bancor price, at least slightly I guess.

Hey, I have a question about staking. If I understand it well, if I move part of my coins somewhere, the rest will be re-sent to another address of my wallet and I would have to send them back to the original airdrop address.
I'm not touching my airdrop coins, but my question is: If I start staking, will all my coins stay in the original airdrop address, or do I need to use the coincontrol (or how it's called) to keep them in the original address and not get banned from the airdrop?
Thanks your your answers.
PS. Sorry if this was discussed before, I checked but couldn't find it.

It's really weird that the Qtum price didn't rise significantly after the mainnet launch. Do you think that Qtum is just more influenced by the China ban than other Chinese-based tokens for some reason, or was the mainnet launch already considered in the Qtum price before?

As was said above, anybody who doesn't read the white paper before investing is actually just gambling. If you're risking $10 it doesn't matter that much, but investing let's say $10.000 and not taking the 30 minutes to read the white paper is a good way to get poor. Even when participating in a bounty program it's good to read it, to know if it's worth it to spend some time on the project.
