421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for new users regarding CLOUD MINING on: December 07, 2014, 03:48:58 PM
some people say it is better to buy bitcoin rather than mining it. and others say mining is still profitable.
If you are in Asia where the cost of mining is almost next to nothing, and have the mining hardware, then it is definitely better to go for mining.
But at the current price, there are lot of uncertainities, and might not be adviced to start mining at this stage.

please add a feature where you can filter out certain table limits.

the lobby is cluttered up with ridiculous high table limits where no one plays.
iŽd really prefer a filter feature so I can filter out  anything above 50 mBTC buy-in (other players should of course
be able to set the table limit higher)

Cant you do that by arranging the games based on the buyin size?

I think the request is so that, let's say there are buy-ins of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500. He wants to see tabled of 100 and under. He can filter out the 200/500 tables. Now he can organize what's remaining based on # of players to see which ones are most active. Your method would require analyzing each table to see what's free and what's active.
Oh ok, but when I go about arranging based on players, there are hardly more than 10 tables occupied by players at a given time, usually it isn't confusing to see the stakes.

What strategy are you thinking of?
Would like to know the same. However, I doubt there is a strategy that hasn't been tried and tested before.

The site is exactly like the other prime dice clone scripts. Arn't those worth the same price without having to rent them?

427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cheapest way for Canadians to buy Bitcoins? on: December 05, 2014, 12:28:50 PM
lol, certainly it's not cavirtex, you can find the cheapest way at my reviews https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=695082.0  Wink

Btc-e: verification: unknown, process: unknown.

 Huh

usually, btc-e doesn't need verification, but sometime it is must if you deposit fiat via bank wire, so I cant sure its verification and more, my apology

just buy bitcoins, it still the cheapest on cavirtex in Canada

I also think Cavirtex is cheapest in Canada.  here you can compare fee between exchanges

Does Cavirtex have a limitation on the amount you can purchase? QuickBT had a limitation as it only allowed 0.2 to be purchase at a time.

Hello all ,

I have a strategy for dice gambling .

The strategy is very simple and seems it's profitable .

I think if someone can make a bot for it , dice sites such as Primedice [that are trusted] are going to down due profitability of the bot !

Who is ready for making that bot for Primedice ?

Check this out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=873818.0
You never want to say that it will bring down their profits Smiley
Good luck with the strategy though. If you are lucky, you might just get out while ahead.
429  Local / India / Re: Plans for any Bitcoin Meetup on: December 05, 2014, 12:14:59 PM
Hey guys,
I was wondering if there was any bitcoin meetups coming up in India. I am from Delhi, and would love to meet people and discuss ideas of any startups or anything new they might be working on related to bitcoins.
I was in the last meetup that happened in Delhi, organized by subvolatil, and maybe we can add something new to it(apart from the introduction).

Its been long we haven't seen any activity from subvolatile. I wonder, is he okay?

He pinged me yday, saying that he was on a nice long travel and should be back next week.

Thanks for leaving the update. Lets hope everyone here can plan another meetup soon.

Looks like SAcramento lost. Good thing, I didn't bet.
Unfortunately, the others were losses too except for one.

The last day of free tipping was kind of Abysmal if I was asked to judge solely based on it..!Xiaoxiao... Can u explain how u chose Kings over raptors?? That one was pretty obvious 4 me..! got a lil lucky with the win u got in one of them..! n 1 unlucky...but rest were sad picks!
PM me if u dont want to send the reasons here!

I think he said, more tips will be coming out before he starts accepting money.

434  Economy / Services / Re: I can dox people for you. on: December 02, 2014, 02:00:27 PM
This is not your average joe service. I have been into doxing for years, I know every bit of information there is to know about the art. I can do anything and everything you need.

I don't have any set prices. Oh, and I should mention now, I don't go first or use your friends as escrow. You go first. Don't like my prices? Don't use my service. Talk to me on here if you need anything.

Dox people in the scam accusations, and you might be rewarded people who have lost a lot of money.
435  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: !!!SPLASHDASH SCAMMER METHOD/ALL INFO INCLUDED!!! on: December 02, 2014, 01:59:38 PM
His post history is all one word, and in giveaways, which looks like he set up the account back in Jan just to scam someone.
You mentioned that he sent you a tracking number, can't you prove its wrong and win the claim on Paypal?
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cheapest way for Canadians to buy Bitcoins? on: December 02, 2014, 01:55:31 PM
I was recently in Canada for a few months and purchased bitcoins using the site : quickbt.
They have a small fees, but are convenient and fast. Also, they don't allow buying more than 0.2 BTC at once.
You could also use paypal or localbitcoin to buy it.

Quickbt is easily 10% above Stamp. Big premium!

If you can't find someone on here you trust, stick with Localbitcoins is my advice

That is true, and might be a problem for people buying large amounts. But, I have never needed a large amount, and they don't offer more than 0.2 BTC, so didn't have a big issue.
But if:  cavirtex has much less fees, and is reliable, I guess thats the way to go then .
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ★★★★★ My NBA expert picks: Killing it this season ★★★★★ on: December 02, 2014, 01:53:49 PM
Man this time again no win but not loss too

1 WIN , 1 LOOSE , 1 PUSH

You were lucky that you placed -2 and not the the tipped  -3 (or -2.5 as some bookies offered) on the Denver Nuggets. You got your push  Wink Otherwise it was 1 win - 2 lose. Score was 101-103.

Went to bed at the 3 quarter with full confidence, when I woke up I was shocked by the Nuggets.
I placed my bet on -2.5, and that last basket really sucked. They just scored, in the last millisecond.
438  Local / Mining (India) / Re: free electricity for mining on: December 02, 2014, 01:50:06 PM
How are you all getting free electricity? Is it in a legitimate way or otherwise?
I am living in a hostel so have to pay an annual rent. The usage is unlimited and 4 sec power backup is also available.
You might want to check the specs of the electricity system of your hostel. A lot of them, cannot handle large power loads if your miner takes up too much of it.
But if you haven't had issues till now, then I guess you should be fine.

440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start-up business and Bitcoin... on: December 01, 2014, 07:10:54 PM
Hello,

Until recently I had only vaguely heard of Bitcoin but during the course of starting up a new business we came across a web developer who requested to be paid in Bitcoin, thus marking my nose first dive into all things Bitcoin. I'm still incredibly new with all of it and at first it was more than a little overwhelming but I'm learning more and more and plan to continue doing so.

On to my first point, I was wondering if anyone had a strategy for buying Bitcoin... it seems to be a bit volatile to me so come on guys, what's the secret? Money is a little tight and I'm finding the fluctuations either cause quite a thrill or a sinking depression. Any advice?

Lastly, we're considering accepting Bitcoin in our new business. It's a largely online venture and it seems to be a good option for Bitcoin but I'm not sure if my excitement is getting the better of me, are there any intricacies or major complications for businesses and Bitcoin? Especially come tax time or maybe something else altogether I'm not thinking of?

Thanks for taking the time,
Grant

If you are an online venture, and have a lot of sales daily, then bitcoin would definitely be an awesome option to add.

For getting away from the volatility you can probably try out services/payment processors, which exchange your bitcoin immediately to $, at the time of acceptance.
