is there any config for rtx 3060 laptop max-q, cause using afterburner only maxout at 38.2mhs/68watt efficiency 562kh/w (core 825,memory 6650, temp 63c)
i saw some guys got 48mhs which is max-p variant, is the same gpu but power limit max-q 75watt and max-p 115watt
i'm not familiar with nvidia mining, all my rigs amd series

the psu unknown brand and chose other psu instead, my advice is antec high current platinum / evga platinum series / corsair titanium, and the gpu to overpriced better buy other card or second hand instead

Hey, This is my first ETH Mining Rig I ever made. Total 6 Cards (1 in Shipping): 1. GTX 1660 Ti x2 2. GTX 1660 Super x2 3. RX 570 8GB x2 Hashrate: 143 Mh/s (with 5 cards) @ 460 W on PhoenixMiner. congrats for great start, and hopefully this is the begining of your mining journey, red & green team, maybe is all you got that mixed card for this time being gpu rarely seen on msrp price...

if this meant to be another ETC for purposely mining, then we got another coin to mine, congrats for the team who do this, and hoping progpow algo for asic-resistant

I'm starting to wonder if the so called free electricity from few members on here are really free or they are breaking the laws and stealing electricity to mine crypto currency, is there any country with free electricity with zero bills? I think this is impossible
If anyone is into this act two things are involved
1. If you are living with others without them knowing that you are mining coins you are personally robbing people, this can't be called free electricity
2. If you are living alone and you are using free electricity it means you have bypass electricity into your home, basement or garage for crypto mining which can land you in big problem in future because you will eventually get caught and all those free money you've made with be paid for, you can even get jailed for this
3. using electric on work place and you can create free electric using turbine on river, and many southeast asian country easy to do this, and even without having the land, free country and there is no law for doing that, or using solar panel in desert area

Hi guys, I'm new to building rigs and I've successfully build one with 4x gtx1660 super but I'm looking for the most profitable coin to mine and I came across minerstat calculator that shows me that epic cash is the most profitable coin, I can earn up to 11$ per gtx1660 super, what I'm curious about is why no one is talking about this coin if it's the most profitable After doing some research I can't even find a exchange that the coin is listed on, so anyone mining this coin? well i just dont know if randomx efficient on gpu side lol , thats pretty absurb and try check listing exchange and the buy wall before you mine the coin

It's time to mine to mine quantum resistant cryptocurrency--Tidcoin(CPU).It is trading with 0.8-1 Doge recently. You can mine TDC with a laptop. If you are interested, please check the ANN below. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5306694.0Have fun mining TDC and HODL. IOTA the first quantum resistant, but not mineable, nice new coin for cpu only, hope any miner dev porting to gpu miner soon, if the hashrate more efficient, its feel like 2015 again

i'm not expecting octopus for long run on rtx 3060, need eth or other algo, octopus to low for big miner and at this point prfitable by the coin on rise/pump and will ended on lower profit after downturn
nice mining on rtx laptop feel clumsy and kurky at same time lol

So while I am fairly new to this mining. My inexperience doesn't allow me to judge properly if I have a problem or not.
Let me attempt to explain.
I have 2 small rigs in different locations 1 has a 2080 super and a 1060. the other has a xfx580 and a vega 64.
The first one is using Claymore's (still seems to work fine) eth miner Average hashrate across those two cards is 55.5 MH very stable
The second one is using Phoenix miner and the average hashrate across those two cards is 60. less stable the XFX 580 is a problem card.
The average hashrate across all cards is 115MH.
On to my possible perceived problem.
I am mining on nanopool. I have set my payout to .05 ETH Last month and the month prior I was getting a payout every 5-6 days. I am aware that the ETH difficulty goes up. This month my payout duration moved from 6 days to 7,8 and now its 10 possibly 11 days in the space of less then a month. Pretty sure the difficulty doesn't go up that fast.
Whats going on and how do I start tracking down this problem if there is a problem.
the difficulty gain around 20% from a month ago, and the reward decreased to much because, these day not much eth fee rewards the miner, compared a month ago, so this basically normal, same as happening on my rigs

Hi All,
I'm going to set a rig, my components are listed below. But I'm not sure about total power for my rig.
Is my psu enough ? There are 2 options, adding 1 psu more or selling one card and go with 5 gpus.
1-) 6 x MSI RTX 3080 Gaming Trio X ( Suprim bios will be flashed, 220w power limit set)
2-) 6 x Riser Ver009s
3-) Biostar TB250 btc+ mainboard
4-) Pentium G4650 CPU
5-) HyperX Fury 8 gb 2400 mhz cl15 ram ddr4
6-) 32 gb usb3 flashdisk for Hiveos
7-) Xigmatek X Miner 1800W gold psu ( %88 effiency under %100 load)
Waiting for your advises, thanks in advance !
i'm expecting 1550w, just buy wattmeter, and to tight for psu handle your rigs, it will degrading faster above 70% heavy continues load, and the power draw will depend on the ambient temperature so i think your power wil fluctuate around -+ 5%

this card came up at bitcoin release and before tahiti which is the first gpu has advantage doing good number on compute performance, the 5000series is better compared this card,

well if they can bypass the block this card should be awesome on msrp price compared rx 6700 479$ and only 338gbps bandwith with max clock wont even passing the predecessor,

Need to plan for summer heat. I have 2 rigs on a 10X15 room with 2 windows. As the room is on a high-rise the airflow is good when I open the door. What could be done to keep good airflow when the door is closed?
put exhaust fan on roof, should be easy for installing, need some ventilation, what exactly ambient room temperature? 10x15 meter/foot? assuming 3.3x5m is quite large enough for 2rigs closed door on ambient temp at 30c

the problem for multi algomining mostly on gpu config and every config optimized for each algo, and yeah you can save the config.ini each algo, and apply when switching, i'm worried form the effectifness the api..if the source from exchange only thin buy wall..with spike price

hi all, i really noob in mining, im try to create my first rig, but i dont know some mother that i can use to 5 rx580 i have this options to buy: Motherboard Msi z270 1151 Mother Asrock B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Mother MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II AM4
in case of amd, i can use a Ryzen 5 1600 AF Zen?
Thanks to all!
go with g4400 with gigabyte fintech b250 should be easy run 5gpu upto 12, and your list to expensive for mining and some problem will happen after 5+ gpus, better buy dedicated board
|
|
|
on rtx 3060 max-p at max memory clock you got 46-48mhs and consume 98watt from the wall, is acceptable for full hardware mining but bit worried for long term, ended up with artifact or something lol

Hello everyone, i know some people asked for help about that MOBO, i already checked here and in allmost all foruns and youtube about my problem.
Its seems some people get sucess using windows and running card by card in windows but im using simplemining OS.
My problem is i only can get 5 GPUS in this MOB, when i plug the 6 i get a error.
Not reboot, black scren or everything else you can imagine happens.
I dont need anymore to follow the steps to clear CMS, i just screm and the mtf mobo do the job alone, so many times i did that sh%¨$¨%$.
Last BIOS version All PCIE in GEN2 (already tested in AUTO, GEN1...) V-TD disable Mem Share 32 Serial disable Audio disable Wan Radio disable
That Asrock does not have the 4G encoding option
All raisers and VGA tested (was running well in a Z270F)
What im missing in BIOS ?
Thanks in advance for your help and be shure if i can resolve my problem i will ask your ETH adress in pm to show some respect for your work.
Best Regards
Atila.
i knew your pain config thats multi gpu beyond 5, and this weird always happen on standar motherboard, mostly only support 7 gpu, but after 5 gpu sometimes adding more gpu doesnt always show up at first place, need to uninstall full driver and try one by one adding more gpu by manually install drive on device manager, after all set up, create restore point, sometimes in the future there always be this problem happen again

Hello guys,
I have got a mainboard with 2 PCIe slot. In the first (x16) slot I installed a RTX 3090.
I would like to add a second card to the other (x4) slot.
Due to the availability of 30XX cards I would like to use something like a 2080 TI as second card.
Question: Does this affect the haspower of the first card? I mean I would maybe need two different drivers - if that's possible?
Miner is T-Rex
nothing go wrong with same typical gpus, and each gpus hashing on their job, msi afterburner each setting different bit hassle then, use stable driver optimized each algo...

When we are mining, let's say ETH do we get the reward for it irrespective of hash rates, number of mining rigs etc? For example : If I am a solo miner with only single mining rig in place and having hash rate of 144 MH/s then as per the etherscan mining calculator I will get the following results: Hash rate (MH/s) * 144 Power Consumption (in Watts ) * 900 Cost per kW/h (USD) * 0.10 Network Hash Rate (GH/s) * 457,200.84 Average Block Time (Secs) * 13.1 Price of 1 Ether (USD) * 1800 Comment by calculator as below: It will take you an average of 481.40 days to find 1 blockSo whether it is confirm that my rig will find the block by 482 days and if yes, will I be paid out by the pool for this block reward? Has anyone solo mined a block here? no you cant mine eth solo at your hashrate, and the bigger hashrate will always get more block and there is "lucky" when you mining, better to mine other coin which is low nethash, and more likely to get some block rewards
