I hold some Crowns and they are sitting in Bittrex now.
I have downloaded the wallet and it synced relatively quick.
I noticed the nice website and like the design.
Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your support  Wink

One of the strongest values of Crown is its community, folks that help each other set up Trons, recover lost coins, answer questions regarding ongoing development...etc.

The core dev team knows each other personally after a meeting which took place in London in December 2016 and aims to put together a strong team of "the good guys in Crypto"

I recommend for new members to take a few minutes from their busyman lives and read our papers, where a lot of what is coming is outlined. Team is working hard on bringing  these ideas into practice. We will be releasing updates on our progress.

CROWN PAPER 1.0 – GOVERNANCE
In this paper the Crown team provides a brief background to the project and introduces governance concepts and outlines how the project will interact with both the technology and the community.
http://crown.tech/media/whitepapers/CRW1.0-Governance-1.pdf

CROWN PAPER 2.0 – INTRODUCTION & FEATURES
In this paper the Crown team introduces the key entities that will form Crown and the design principles that will be used along the development process.
http://crown.tech/media/whitepapers/CRW2.0-Introduction-Features.pdf

CROWN PAPER 3.0 – APPLICATIONS
In this paper the Crown team describes the vision for how applications will fit into Crown and how the platform will allow those applications will be enabled to operate as a business entity.
http://crown.tech/media/whitepapers/CRW3.0-Applications.pdf

CROWN PAPER 4.0 - COMBINATIONS & PERMUTATIONS
In this paper the Crown team explains what makes the project unique and details some of the proposed use models for the platform.
http://crown.tech/media/whitepapers/CRW4.0-Combinations.pdf

CROWN PAPER 5.0 - SYMBOLS, SKYHOOKS & SURVIVAL
In this paper the Crown team explains what makes the project unique and details some of the proposed use models for the platform.
http://crown.tech/media/whitepapers/CRW5.0-Symbols.pdf

CROWN PAPER 6.0 – SHARING & OPEN TEAMS
In this paper the Crown team contextualises the relationship between economic, social and technological change and what this means for technology such as Blockchain. This paper also describes the evolution of the Crown team and project and its immediate aims for the future.

Crown performing nicely since listed on bittrex, I feel that we are gaining track. Actually very important this is slow and steady, this means the roots of this project are growing strong. Growing like a tree.

Sorry to be a bother, I don't want my post to get buried though. Anyway someone can help me out with the Mac wallet installation from the tar.gz? Thanks guys!

I am liking the ideas behind the project. Might I ask - what specific DApps will be most successful or useful being run on throne nodes? I'm having a bit of trouble imagining use cases and this is probably due to me being a bit unclear on exactly how it will all work. I haven't gone through all of the posts in the forum in a while so I may very well be missing some stuff. Nice to be around these parts again though. Thanks LucD for awakening me from my long Bitcointalk slumber. lol.

Cheers!

I use the mac wallet fine. Just unzip with with any zip program. Then you get two files, click on Bin file and there you will see the crown-qt, just open it in finder using the Action button and then open. Hope it works  Wink

We have reached another milestone, 400 Trons supernodes set up, which means 4 mil Crowns or 160 BTC in locked value.

Hey guys, great job !!! I follow this project from the early beginning, when there existed only in the minds of those who set it up Smiley. I'm happy and I see the future of the CROWN very positively.
I would like to set up the throne and would like to use "Raspberry Pi 3", but I have no experience with that. Do you use for thrones the Raspberry?

Thanks Smiley

Thanks for the kind words Maleda. Guys here will be with you shortly to help you to set up your Throne!  Wink

This is a shout out to Tron operators and miners out there.

If we set sell orders instead of dumping into the market, we all can gain much much more and Crown can become stronger day day by day. Lets build a community value where knights watch our backs as we are used to among core team mebers. Ask around.

If we just sell Crown when you really need the btc for a higher purpuse its fine, but if we all can believe that this has a meaning - something bigger can and will happen.

Well its Friday, off for few Buds  Grin

I really like Crown. It's kind of a catchy simple name. With the right marketing this one could become popular relatively quick.

I have some BTC clearing tomorrow.  I will pick up some more Crown then.

Very important point you made here about the name. The name and the symbol of the Crown is really strong and one of the reasons Crown was created is that its ready a  payment instrument in several european countries for several hundred years - why could not be possible to take it global? also the symbol has an strong phylosophical meaning - who dares to wear the Crown?

Thrones where the kings used to sit are becoming Trons, new economy applications enabling users to earn money and build next generation blockchain businesses...

Well we are evolving - Tron operators have the right to vote on proposals  Smiley

Network diversity increasing.

What is Throne profitability looking like at current numbers?

I think we need to diversify the Trons network. Too many Trons in France it looks like

This coin has been around I see since 2014... and Developers are still active... That says a lot.

Count me in for the long haul... Going to pick up some and forget them for 5 years!

"Patience is a more useful tool than impatience" I just thought that one up... Let's see where Crown stands in 5 years time. Go Baby, Go!

Thank you you noticed this and thanks for your support!. The team would appreciate more investors with this mentality. Buy in, set up a Tron and make constant income.

CRW added to Bittrex!

Congratulations guys, we can finally get rid of C-Cex! Tongue

Let's get some volume to Bittrex: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-CRW

I am so happy about this listing. I think its a very important milestone for Crown to move forward with its plan.

Just going to put this out there...

Would you buy a physical Crown coin if they existed? EDIT: When i say "A Crown coin, I mean several Crown on one coin, EG One 1000CRW coin"

I mean, I would and a few others I know would too.

So defunctec -- what would this be?  Would this be a device with a chip which would have the keys to a wallet - where the wallet would how X coins?  So it's more of a crown chip?  And I guess the chip could just display the balance of the wallet/keys it holds?

Since addresses can be used on multichains -- I guess you could also have a multi-coin chip?

Then theoretically people could use digital tokens by transacting in these chips -- just like they transact with cash....

I guess, I would just imagine possibilities in a "general purpose model"  ....  and I would imagine that one would spend "crown chips" or "crown cards" like cash.

so yeah... that sounds interesting.

Sorry not quite as elaborate but still tricky. Its more of a gimmick/vanity project for a few people who would want one or two coins to hold.

Coins101 describes it perfectly really. He also brings up very impotent points about security and trust. Im not sure how the trust element can be circumvented but I'm all ears on that.

Heres a couple of examples

I have a guy in Prague who wants to mint Crowns, but he does not like the new logo, so let me know if anyone wants to connect with him

Does he want to do this a business or just as a one off? I'd like to see the new logo on the coin but would settle for the old logo. It'd be more of a classic coin, maybe in the future he could make some with the new logo, if the demand is there.

I think he was interested to start s one off, he mints Bitcoin series and was looking at Crown old logo. Let me know if you want to connect to him
