Taken with Webpage Screenshot

The price is rising Smiley, its time to buy and will see grow up
wouldn't be suprised seeing the price stabilize around 0.000003-4 this month. One of the few coins worth investing in. And not a joke like coinye...
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRT] Particle | CPU/GPU, Fast, Easy Mine, * NO PREMINE * | Official Thread on: January 16, 2014, 07:42:56 PM
Thanks guys for answers but it's obvious that many (all) of you are this_coin_holders so you don't want to give a bad word about coin.

40 satoshi price is good but if PRT is going to 20?
Cryptsy - yes, but it's not hard to notice that we have many new coins, too many and this is not possible that all or most of them won't be on cryptsy.

So I'm a little bit afraid to join your PRT holding party, but I'll patiently watching this coin and maybe buy some.

1.000.000.000 coins is not little amount... Maybe PRT is heading to 10-15 satoshis for a while and then it's best chance to buy...

You could be right, and you could be wrong.
I don't see any other developers making new wallet interfaces anywhere. Apart from NXT and eMunie that is.
I think you might be very sorry once the new wallet is out and the price quadruples...

A mobile/IOS device wallet would be a game changer...  I'm surprised more development isn't put into it.
It's a couple weeks old coin. They will come soon.

Meanwhile price doesn't seem to wanna go down.

Bought .9 btc (roughly 900$) worth of coins. All smooth.

Since you're revamping the site anyway. Can you make it a bit more mobile friendly?
That would probably take them a lot longer, and we need the site online asap!!  Grin

maybe someone else can make an app for mobiles for hashcows, and we all can pay for it (in btc of course)
however i am thinking that doing such a thing would be probably very difficult to make it secure.

don't know, I can't program anything out of assembler and C, high level language are way out of my league Smiley
doesn't make it less secure. It uses API.  But near miss is currently working on API but I think it fell to low priority.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PRE ANN - #### NEW ALT ASSET - CPU ONLY MINING #### on: January 04, 2014, 03:07:13 AM
It's not like pooling is what kills cpu mining.... actually anti-bank itself would kill it. If the difficulty is too high and it takes too long to find blocks by yourself, it will discourage people from mining because they don't wanna take the chance to mine and get nothing (or less than they should because of bad luck).

I liked the idea in general, but the fact that this part eluded you, I'm just gonna stay away.

Going on 12+ hrs and no change to the confirmed exchange :/.

I have a feeling the value of DOGE is going to plummet by the time it actually gets exchanged...

It was around .00000140 last night when they said they were selling that big pile for us. Today it has been around
.00000103 at cryptsy but .00000145 at coin-e.  The leftover from last night plus a whole days more should make for
super record payouts tonight

If I add together the unexchaged and exchanged, it'll be the same payout as last night.

But I have little faith that it'll actually get exchanged tonight at this rate. I'm expecting a significantly less payout than last night. And by the time it all gets exchanged, it will have reduced in value by 50%...

We will be getting paid less tonight, much much less. Still a relative lot but nowhere near what cold math would say we should have.
My current confirmed payout for 24 hours straight mining is 2 1/2 times less than yesterdays payout for 11 hours, and that is including the sizable amount we didnt get paid yesterday. My combined exchanged and unexchanged for today (including yesterdays leftover) is slightly lower than 11 hours of mining yesterday. We'll all get a LOT today but not close to what it would have been with timelier in/out payouts.

In number terms, if things dont change, i will have been paid earned $38 here today (including yesterdays leftover) plus in theory slightly more than that again sometime in the future for todays work depending on how much lower doge goes before it gets paid to us. If I had regular pool mined and cashed out at the worst exchange rate I would have gotten more than $106 (more early in the day, less later)
Well good luck to you selling when the only exchange with enough volume to sell and wasnt down for maintenwnce doesnt process deposits in 24hours......

nice to see people so pessimistic even through good times.

Something is extremely iffy with this pool my confirmed exchange balance is 9.02E-6 what does that even mean!

it's probably because you have very low hash rate so instead of showing 0.0000000000009 it shows it that way.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 20, 2013, 04:58:27 PM
Are people still getting disconnects? The reason I switched away from this pool for a while was because of that, and there isn't an easy way to tell if things have gone wrong like there is with wemineltc (for example) - their android app and email notifications are very handy.
the disconnects are much less frequent and it's pretty much minuscule loses compared to the huge gains of using the pool if you use a failover.

Besides, pretty sure it will be completely fixed soon.

The greatest thing about doge is once the hype is done and it's not profitable anymore, difficulties will be much lower on other currencies and we'll ride nice profitability of those too.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 19, 2013, 03:56:16 AM
Still not convinced the estimated earnings numbers are correct... I can't imagine that I produced 50% more shares in the first 3:45 than I did in the second 3:00.

5608   DOGE   03:07:17   23   11478930.98   0   0   0.004303 BTC
5607   WDC   00:09:04   1   55.63                  0   0      0.000013 BTC
5606   DOGE   03:45:47   23   11444619.18   0   0   0.006155 BTC

you disregard one part of the equation entirely. Exchange rate. AND it's more like a 40% difference AND mined 10% longer.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 16, 2013, 04:34:09 PM
I admit my working was messy and slightly too generous because my 24 hour estimate was just doubling my 12.5 hour estimate. Anyway, after an actual 24 hours and not a doubling of 12.5 hours the payout was:

total @10:30 PM Monday
Est. Unexchanged Balance   Confirmed Exchanged Balance    Confirmed Balance      +  anc
0.0067892335                      0.00869628                    0+ debit 0.03113817           (1- 0.729664)+ 0.866144 @ 0.0068 ANC/BTC=0.0077
24 hour total= 0.05435 - 0.0288 = 0.0256 BTC

So, I must have had a good 12 hours followed by a mediocre 12 hours. Still that's an improvement over just mining litecoin by about 17%.
I'll post more numbers in another 24 hours. I know it's a bit messy but with things coming in and going out and not exchanging anoncoins it's not going to be too neat.

It doesnt look like you can view individual worker stats at Hashco.ws
I was thinking of setting up a new worker for both hashco.ws (switching) and coinotron (LTC) and having a 7950 pointed to each for a couple days to get a benchmark.

Its still not apples to apples though because it ends up in BTC:LTC which both fluctuate day to day - and I assume Bitcoin mining at 1.2mh/s is completely worthless which is going to show that using a switching pool is a huge advantage.

Im mostly curious about the switching pools vs a regular LTC because LTC pools are still profitable to mine.
people calculate based on BTC as the currency exchanged to BTC for uniformity, not based on mining BTC. It's used for comparative purposes only. No one mines BTC without ASIC.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 16, 2013, 10:37:00 AM

Have you calculated a 24 period to see if it is better than just mining LTC or BTC?

Yep, however atm it's based on a 12 hour estimate. I checked all my payouts last night and this morning and found:

total @10:30 PM sunday
Est. Unexchanged Balance   Confirmed Exchanged Balance    Confirmed Balance      +  anc
0.0035914125                      0.01132554                        0.00892127          0.729664 @ 0.0068 ANC/BTC
=0.0288

10:56 AM Monday
Est. Unexchanged Balance   Confirmed Exchanged Balance    Confirmed Balance      +  anc
0.0143160595                        0.0184546                0.00892127            (1- 0.729664)+ 0.442856 @ 0.0068 ANC/BTC=0.0048
=0.0465
12.5 hour earnings==0.0465-0.0288=0.0177 EST24 hour earnings =0.035 = GOOD

Looks like a mess, but hey it worked out for me. Now that I'm keeping records I'll get a better idea of earnings as time goes on. I'll tell you actual 24 and 48 hour earnings if you like.

Mining at 1900 Khash, which would be 0.61757800 LTC = 0.02193019 BTC per 24 hours.
Not quite as good as i had hoped.
You running 3 - 7950s?

what the he'll are you expecting? Switching pools provide roughly 20% better payout. That's well over 50% better payout....

Wow.

Will probably have to wait for an official word, but stratum switch seems A LOT smoother right now. Didn't check religiously, but haven't seen my hash rate drop in a Lil while.

I agree, things running smoothly today.  Everything's pretty much looking as it should.
well I wouldn't exactly say as it should as I'm on my way to making double expected reward today, so running smooth + great luck = better than it should :p haha
