Ubuntu 16.10 - doesn't work with mouse. Without noise I cannot update to fix bug.
16.04- doesn't work with new nvidia cards as its driver is too old.
Stuck.

The problem turned out to be a bad USB cable. I went ahead and installed Ubuntu 16.04 server as I was tired of playing with device manager.
All three cards are now chugging along at ~470 sols/s.
Anyway know how to tweak the cards under linux ala MSI Afterburner?
Go ahead and install the last driver from Nvidia. I'm using ver. 375.26, but there is currently 1 new release 375.39 and a beta driver 378.09 available (haven't tested them out yet) I don't think there is much to gain with the driver versions, most important is to find a working and stable one for your system. 2nd: Go ahead and enable OC with: sudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=28 --allow-empty-initial-configuration after a reboot you gain access to OC and fan control in X conf Hope that helped you a little  how you can enable OC, lets say for 3, or 4 cards from terminal? |

Yes your correct about ccminerlbr thanks ive removed it, saved another 13mb for 1.5.3 also im having trouble finding that faster KlausT version of ccminer you are using for neoscrypt?? ive tried both x86 and x64 from here: https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases all tho last update was in december.. both are running slower neoscrpyt than my current ccminerneo i see he made a few updates to neoscrypt 10days ago in his ccminer source code: have you compiled that source and is that how your getting better speeds?? This release is pretty good for neoscrypt on the gtx 1070: https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/1.5.8081 is broken.. So, you should remove that from your github then. Or make a note, it's broken, or something. |
