421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: August 07, 2017, 07:59:34 AM
Why not? But who will pay for the airtime? TV advertisements are expensive. If you put up a TV ad, for what purpose? Is it gonna be just to promote bitcoin? Because the one who will do that will receive nothing in return. And the airtime payment will be done by seconds.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2017, 03:35:45 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Here are the facts, bro. As compared to all the other cryptos, BTC is the oldest. BTC is the most precious. The rest are younger ones but many of these coins are already obsolete in a way. In fact, some are dying and some have already died.

I cannot see an instance that one of these new coins will be able to render BTC obsolete. It would be better if they try to compete with themselves.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is Neither "Bitcoin" nor "Cash!" on: August 06, 2017, 03:52:14 AM

Actually it is cash for most people, seeing as they dumped it at the first opportunity a few days ago.  Cheesy
In reality though, it is nothing more than a crapcoin and will continue falling until it is worthless.

And when it becomes worthless, people would be quick in buying it making the demand huge which will in turn cause the price to go higher. And when the price is already high, the same people would again dump them until a point it becomes worthless again. And then again and again and again. And viola! Bitcoin Cash has finally found its purpose.  Cheesy
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When i should invest in "ICO"? on: August 05, 2017, 03:20:21 PM
Hello everybody i want to know when i should invest during ICO. how i identify that coin will be Success in ICO or failed? And how to know any coin will not be scam? please clearify me these question.

It is getting harder and harder. Whitepapers and other project presentations are getting smoother and more convincing that they would appear legitimate. I am basing on the actual use of the tokens, the practicality of their goals and ideas. If a certain project is too ambitious that they would surely find no way for their project to really materialize, I won't risk.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: August 05, 2017, 03:03:34 AM
Hello, As i am looking in crypto market now so i am thinking Ethereum is good for investment now. What is your opinion for this?

Go for it. ETH is good for investment. Hold them for at least five months, the price is already huge by that time. If you want, try some other promising altcoins also, not just ETH. Although ETH is really a trusted coin. It has a lot of investors backing it.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody with $10,000 worth of BTC+Alts today should be a Millionnaire in 2025 on: August 05, 2017, 02:14:32 AM
This is probably right. That is seven long years from now. The price of BTC as well as other alts should be very high by that time. There is even a possibility that it will exceed the million mark.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck BitcoinCash on: August 04, 2017, 03:31:56 PM
I think this Bitcoin Cash will hardly survive the competition on the road. This is quite hard for Bitcoin Cash when the great majority are despising its release. There seems to be too much feeling of against the existence of Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin is still the one to be impressive up to now.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Utopia on: August 04, 2017, 03:13:24 PM
There seems to be a lot of people into bitcoin for the privacy and as a way to
evade being involved in the regular FIAT banking system.
Oh and also to try and expand on their "Investment".

So ive been meaning to ask these questions for a while.

Assuming we reach a Bitcoin Utopia where everyone is using Bitcoin and governments dont know
who has what how do our public services operate if no-one is paying taxes?

How do the Hospitals and Health systems get funded?

How do the education systems operate?

How do the Water, Electricity, Communications networks and other
public services like Lighting, Road Maintenance, Law and Order survive without funding?

At that time, I am sure bitcoin is already taxable. As a matter of fact, it is a taxable income when you gain bitcoin profits in other countries such as India. There is really no getting away from the government. The government will always find a way to survive. Even bitcoin holders themselves won't allow the government to go bankrupt. That is also bad for them.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BitcoinCash a good investment? on: August 04, 2017, 12:51:10 AM
Is BitcoinCash a good investment now? Can you share some reasons why it is good or not good.

Thank you!

It is very hard to tell for now. It is very new. It is better if you wait for a while to observe the price patterns before buying for investment. Waiting for a dump is much better. And then buy when it is already dumping.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash? More like bitcoin crash! on: August 03, 2017, 04:41:23 PM
For sure it will crash hard once people deposit on Bittrex and dump, it might get pumped in the future who knows, think I'll just hold mine, they were free so not losing out on anything.  Plus it's too sketchy trying to split the coins at the moment.

Hearing from some experienced man here. That is what others are also saying. Holding some free money is not that hard to do after all. There is virtually no risk involved here because what you are holding is given to you freely.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Birds? on: August 03, 2017, 04:06:20 PM
Birds?
Does it fly?

Yeah, it does fly but it is not a bird. A bird is way too big a comparison. Perhaps a mosquito?  Grin

For goodness sake, try looking for some more decent coins. Why that specific shitcoin? We have so many shitcoins around. You can look for one that is much much better than pure shit.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: predict for doge coin rate future??? on: August 03, 2017, 03:03:55 PM
i have 13000+ doge.. i bought this coin 0.00000119btc   Sad Sad bt now it prize only 0.00000059 btc..So I need help experience what can i do now for my doge ? hold or sell?

I suggest that you should just wait for the price to pump. Doge is lingering around that price for quite a while already. There must be a long hodling for you to do there, mate. I have not heard of any price pump for it either. Anyway, doge is a nice coin.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is not a good investment anymore (Read more) on: August 02, 2017, 10:16:03 AM
Bitcoin have a huge value now  of 2700$ and i don't see it going any higher (not on a astronomic way atleast)
i don't see it goes X10 or X20 higher like it used to be before. it doesn't make sense.

on the other hand i can see Altcoin get a X10 20 and even X200 higher.

last year altcoins such as Ethereum and Dash were very  less. and look now..
it's the time to invest in altcoin IMO

IOTA and Ethereum clasic for example

How can it not be a good investment anymore when it is constantly on the rise and is predicted to be in the 6-digit dollar figure in the next years? It cannot easily be gaining a x10 or x20 growth because it is already in the thousand value right now. It will not take few weeks for a x10 growth. It will take a year at least. But remember it is bitcoin, the best among all.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to buy or still wait? on: August 02, 2017, 09:46:56 AM
Are we headed back to 110B market cap this week? or is it gonna drop right back down do to BCH?

Time to buy right now. It is the season of buying. The red tide is finally over. There is no more ripe time for buying but now. Just look at the charts. It is green all over. It will be going for a long while that is why do not waste time thinking twice. You are losing could-be profit with each ticking time.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you plan to quit the altcoin world? on: August 02, 2017, 09:09:59 AM
Have you ever thought about quitting this completely? My friend just bought some Monero and BTC and he said NO! Screw the altcoin guys! I'll work and relax and check back yearly. Cool dude. Needless to say he made more than 90% of daily traders in the year

Why should I? This altcoin world is giving me much opportunities. This will bring me to the successful life I am dreaming of. Of course together with bitcoin. Although it is easier to acquire more and more altcoins rather than bitcoin nowadays. I won't be quitting.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 hours before the fork - Can I make a transaction without Fear? Please help on: August 01, 2017, 10:00:31 AM
I want to make a BTC deposite to my bitfinex acount

Can I make it 3 hours before 12:20 UTC?

Bitfinex needs 7 confirms

The mere fact that you are bringing it up here means that you have felt fear already. What you are doing is very risky. I think all the suggestions and advice is to avoid BTC transactions when August 1 is near. The 7 confirms must take a long time bro. I hope you will get through it and successfully and safely transfer your BTCs.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You A Sellout (Or Did You Hodl)? on: August 01, 2017, 06:23:15 AM
With the 1st of August in mind what actions have taken or not with regards to your bags of Bitcoin?

The reason why I stuck to my bitcoin is that I don't have bags of it.  Grin I have a small amount and so I am not a bit worried about the coming August 1. Come what may. I know that the end will always be on the side of bitcoin. I am right so far. Bitcoin did not go down, but instead rose high.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now a days Bitcoin is going to Became More Valuable Than Gold on: July 30, 2017, 03:14:15 PM
The cost of a single Bitcoin already rose above the cost of an ounce of gold. the bitcoin price go up $2,631 where the 1 ounce gold price is $1320. It is really true that the price of bitcoin is doubled than the price of gold! I noticed that the units of measurement are not comparable, the falling price of gold and rising price of bitcoin is still nonetheless, significant. We can not imagine that  Which is better for our future collecting Gold or gathering Bitcoin? Huh  We should discuss about the future of Bitcoin price and Gold. I think in the digital world bitcoin will be more valuable than any other currencies! I also think that this is the real time to discuss about the future of bitcoin and gold.

The price of bitcoin is really becoming more and more expensive, even more expensive than gold. But the question is always there: for how long? How long does bitcoin last? We are not certain how long it will last. What I know for sure is that it will not last forever. Gold will be there for as long as humans exist.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SHIFT a sleeping giant !! on: July 30, 2017, 03:56:45 AM
Hi guys, i'm always reading post here but is my very first topic. I'm trying to study and understand the crypto market but is not the right time to make prevision.

However i'm here to spread the attention on SHIFT.

First of all to be clear i would like to point out that i have a small stack of 180 bought at 0.0003800.

The pourpose of this post is not to pump it just because i'm in (my stack is ridiculous), but to explain why i'm in and understand, in case someone disagrees, why i'm wrong.

Well, firstly they aim to decentralize the web, it's seems to be interesting and at least original. Through my researc they seems to be active in developement.
The marketcap is still low compared to big players, low circulating supply, dumped 3x from the ATH and still down while the other are shyly rising up.

So for me the point is not if but when.

This thread made me Laugh Out Loud. LOL!  Grin

The post is by someone with 6 activities and commented by people with 1, 2, 21, and much lower activities. What is this thread all about? Or is this a newbie group thread?  Grin

The problems with your claim is that (1.) there are already so many claimed to be sleeping giants and finally, (2.) these giants might not really wake up. They might be sleeping forever.  Grin
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH being held down, going to explode on: July 30, 2017, 02:24:52 AM
It is better for ETH to go down all the way and hit rock bottom, hit a price that is like it has just began. I would really love to see it.  Grin

How I wish it happens.  Grin I will sell all my alts and BTC and buy ETH when it happens.  I will withdraw my savings in the bank as well to on invest on ETH.
