People who already reporting without expecting any reward, I think are much more valuable than the the people that gonna hunt only for the badges/ranks.
The first ones really want to make a change but the second ones are only for "the game".
Resering the score will motivate the "gamers" but the other will be left out I a way.

Tired to see only spammy mega-threads in the section that's why I'll try to start a normal one with this question.
If you think about it, the price is reflection of the bitcoin supply and demand based only on the available exchanges.
You can directly trade at whatever price you like.
What can be done?
Would't be better if the price reflects the real effort to "create" (mine) the bitcoin, or the effort to support the network like the electricity costs + hardware investments etc.
I know this is almost impossible to accurately calculate it but still it will be closer to the real value than to the speculative one "controlled" by the exchanges.
This is innovative technology and is should not relay only on the "old traditions" of price forming, we need a new revolutionary way to balance it, this is the only way to be world-wide accepted.
The whole idea of bitcoin is to be decentralize, but you have enough amount of bitcoins the price can easily be controlled.
We have seen already many such cases, and there are more to come.

I think there shouldn’t be a general rule for all the threads, otherwise this one, should be locked as well.~ It is already locked. The problem is even if you have some healthy discussions, comes a time when nothing more can be added to the subject and things start to repeat again and again. If you look into the Bitcoin Discussion section, 90% of the threads are just to farm activity. If you gonna wipe clean the megadeaths there we gonna feel the great disturbance in the Force for sure.  |

We have to popularize the reporting a bit more.
More ?   lol i have today near 400 Reports for "Good , Good Project , Nice ........ ! Cant see anymore the words Nice project lol But i give my best ! Well, spammers are not only the "good/nice project" guys. Since the homographers are gone now, I concentrate on the plagiarism as it leads to BAN /such a nice word/. That's also easy, just get one of those "good project" guys, go trough his post history and find a bit longer post with a proper English and there you go, just copy part of it and use the search engine. Guess what, he is not the only one coping it  Isn't that fun?? It is more satisfying than the real hunting in the wild. I'm addicted, I think |

Loaded some more cases to the OP. Just a quick report of what I've done today. For about 30-40 min dedicated for reporting I've managed to report 2 Ann threads + 2 cases of plagiarism with total of 3 users (one Member with 39 merit ) Around 11 shitposts. Collected raw database with around 70 users posting "good project" for the past 3 days. We have to popularize the reporting a bit more. Already can see a slight change, no so many bumping bots, no homographs any more, seems like we can mage a change our self. |

Regarding the Sec/Mod log data, what is the initial date of collecting data? Is it just for a specific period of time like the past 3/6 months time span or it is from the initial date and on? Like for instance this account > https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=mdjakirnpcbdHas already 8 posts deleted by the mods but for what period? In addition to this, is it possible to track the personally deleted posts (not by mods) too, that would be only for newbies/jr.members. Something like the : (current_post_count - the_last_parsed_post_count) - (current_Sec/Mod_deleted_messages - last_parsed_Sec/Mode_deleted_messages) = Personally_deleted_messages.
It won't be very accurate depending of the parsed intervals, but still there will be a good indicator to check for bots/spammers. |

Regarding the negative trust, I have seen people leaving only neutral "comment" like : "I've never dealt with this person." You can do the same and explain what happen without painting it in RED.
