4261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confirmtx.com is not honoring their terms. on: December 03, 2017, 05:58:25 AM
Why would you use any paid confirmation services when there are people doing it for free ?
Thanks for putting it up here so others can know how easy it is to fall victim for the transaction acceleration scams. How did you find them ? Through bitcointalk ? If yes, please update your thread with their profile details so DT can tag them accordingly.

I'm only aware of viabtc and I can't ever get a txid included there, they're always over the limit. I'm not aware of any other free accelerators.

The first time I used confirmtx my transaction had its first confirmation in 20 minutes.

At any rate, .04LTC doesn't matter and hopefully this scam will be shut down.

What information is needed? I linked their profile here.

Thx

The amounts involved here are quite small obviously and it's not really a big loss. But if you have thousands of people using this service and all getting scammed you can obviously imagine the scale of earnings they may manage to rake in. That's why it's important that they get tagged.

He's actually online at the moment, i'm not sure whether he is going to respond to this and give you a refund.

Just hopefully, he can clear up all this.
4262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin going down? on: December 03, 2017, 05:33:03 AM
I think the peak of bitcoin is around $8000-8100. It never went up beyond that, do you think it could? Right now its below $8000

Man, i really feel bad for you if you believed that that was the peak of BTC and dumped all your BTC as a result.

I don't even think that the current level is going to be the peak for the decade. I think BTC will most likely go up to $15k before the price goes down to probably $11-12k, then rising up again to $15k+ before another correction.

This is a crucial month, and will indicate to us what the outlook for 2018 is and what the trend will be like. Hopefully it's bullish.
4263  Economy / Goods / Re: 1oz gold krugerrand trade for btc on: December 03, 2017, 05:15:41 AM
Selling 1 krugerrand for 1350 usd incl worldwide shipping.
Trade for btc. Escrow possible.

Pm my if interested. 1 available.

Please attach some pics if possible.

Also list the condition of the kruggerand, and what year it is in etc. The two people above basically nailed it, apmex is selling this for $1320 without any volume discounts and you can probably get better deals.

Consider lowering your price, also lmk when you get some silver Wink
4264  Economy / Speculation / Re: FANTASTIC !!! --- 3 years ago Tim Draper predicted $10K per Bitcoin by 2018 ! on: December 03, 2017, 05:09:21 AM
Dang, that's a hell of a prediction. Timing and the actual value are pretty much entirely on point.

However, a bit of luck was involved for sure as well. If he didn't have luck on his side, then this prediction could have been faltered. That doesn't take away that the fact that he literally foretold the world what was going to happen.

Bitcoin's potential is unparalelled as an investment for the past 200 years, at the least. It's the only viable option to take control back from central banks.
4265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 20k-40k by end of the month. FORECAST on: December 03, 2017, 05:03:48 AM
Bitcoin will grow.

Target 20k-40k

Probably stops at 10300, it's where price never will come back again.

End of the month 20k-40k? I call bullshit.

Your previous forecasts are all over-bullish and i doubt that you have that many correct predictions. I'm bullish with bitcoin too at the moment but i really do not think that it's going to just grow by 2-4x in value within a month.

This has never happened from the run up since Jan, no reason why it should happen now.
4266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sacmmer in localbitcoins on: December 02, 2017, 09:20:00 AM
Hello
yesterday a buyer named Nikfon has disputed a trade and he created a screenshot that he had sent 500$ to my payeer account i checked my account there are no money and take a screenshot from history there are no transaction and post it the the chat but i afraid the ADMIN go with the buyer side because he uploaded fake screenshot, what can i do more to proof i`m not received the money ?

Nikfon has no trades before and his account created from one day i have +70 trades account older than one year

Send proof in your convo with the moderator, say that the screenshot is faked.

They will at least consider going with your side of the story because of the fact that they have probably done this all before. If you don't respond then obviously your chances of getting your money back is minimal.

But if you do respond, then the chances are quite high.
4267  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best Alternatives to Perfectmoney - Non refundable ? on: December 02, 2017, 08:42:13 AM
What is the best Alternatives to Perfectmoney - Non refundable Payment Gateway ?

PM and all the non-reversible fiat payment gateways are extremely risky to use since most are either unlicensed or licensed in a country that has really lax rules regarding money transmitters. If you saw what happened to egopay, egold, even LR you will see why.

But alternatives that i have personally tried out would be advcash and payeer.

Personally like payeer's interface better but advcash has no fees. Up to you to choose.
4268  Economy / Lending / Re: Securring a Loan on: December 02, 2017, 08:21:50 AM
i was using coinbase, paxful, and localbitcoins to purchase btc. I recently lost my wallet and with my id and bank cards. Someone tried using my bank cards so when logging into coinbase they asked for me to verify my identity when i tried to buy some more btc. I cant do this til my new id comes. Which is the whole reason i ended up with the Amex Serve prepaid card. Im not asking for a loan with the amex card. I mentioned it so that a potential lender would know i do have a way to get whatever form of collateral. I can spend it on whatever. Im completely new to all of this so trying to figure it all out. Im more than willing to use the amex card for whatever is needed to be used as an acceptable form of collateral. Im just needing help and tips. Or for a lender that might be willing to walk me through it all. Thank you everyone for the feedbank and help, please no negative feedback tho. I understand im new so that throws up red flags, but im not trying to pull a fast one on anyone. I guess i should do more research on what can be used as collateral but i was just hoping someone would tell me what to use the amex card on for the collateral they wanted.
If you have valid collateral, even if it's not altcoins, then i can help you with this. But a prepaid MC is a big no-no for me and i'm sure that most people on here that are conducting loaning businesses will not be able to help you out.

If you just want to sell the MC though just say so. There are people on paxful that are willing to buy your prepaid MC without any ID, it'll just be really bad rates you're being offered, that is all. Honestly you're much better off just waiting for your ID. Why do you need the loan anyways?
4269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT Scam/Theft - waiting five months on $10000 on: December 02, 2017, 07:55:58 AM
Unfortunately, that is literally how yobit operates. I'd say that half of their markets listed there are artificially priced because either the deposits are in maintenance or withdrawals are in maintenance meaning that you're literally trading nothingness.

You just simply cannot depend on them or their support.

Beware of them, and do not deposit anything that you can't afford to lose. You could be waiting up to a year or more here.
4270  Economy / Lending / Re: Invest in Sweeet | First Legit Investor-Plan on: December 02, 2017, 07:17:51 AM
I think the situation is not so wrong as you decribe it.

You took 7k loss on margin trading, but you paid back all investors which are borrow you for that. So I think I can say that this loss hit your personal funds most. Also you said that you have funds for new a car, but lost this funds.

Recently you reopen this Paxful-trading thing, get PayPal closed, but this is not loss in current time, or very tiny -- it just hits your future profits.

So i think you should have enough money to pay all investors back their money. Also based on Google docs spreadsheet, it is only couple of thousands -- you can earn that in real life job by 3-6 months.

But, first, you need to be transparent .. we can definitelly work this out.
I lost an additional $9k when BTC went from 8k-11k margin trading, which by the way I tried for 2 hours to cancel my margin trade but Kraken just kept saying that my order was failed and to try again until I gave up and went to sleep, waking up to -$8k and eventually -$9k. I strayed away from making any statements about it as I figured I would be able to sustain with the rest of the investor funds doing paxful. Although this was the one time that paypal couldn't have done this as it was the only time I was in a debt. So when I took that $9k hit I struct investor funds. With the first loss happening then the second and now being in dept, then Paypal closing my account, this has been an extremely stressful month, probably one of the worst in my life.

That is indeed very stressful stuff.

However you have promised investors when they signed up that they would be repaid at a certain point in time for a certain amount - i personally think that it would be a bit unfair if you just reduced everyone's repayments.

In future, you should definitely come up with plans to counter this. You hav eto realise that margin trading is risky as hell, and find plans to basically reduce risk.
4271  Economy / Lending / Re: Securring a Loan on: December 02, 2017, 07:02:14 AM
So a prepaid mastercard or visa would be a valid form of collateral?

So you send the lender the prepaid MC.  He sends you BTC.  You then spend the prepaid MC and disappear with your newbie account....

Nice try...

Exactly. This is why gift cards/prepaid visa/MCs will never be considered to be valid collateral.

Essentially it's a doublespend. collateral is supposed to be in the sole control of the escrow holding the collateral/the lender himself(if he is trusted enough by the borrower to do so), so that in case of default, he can use it to cover the loan.

GCs can still be spent by the borrower after he receives the loan.
4272  Economy / Reputation / Re: Calling all reputed members esp. Lauda, ibminer, The Pharmacist to my apology on: December 02, 2017, 06:55:54 AM
The forum rules clearly state that you cannot get paid to bump up ANNs. It's not just you either, everyone who got exposed is either already negged by a dt member or is about to get negged.

Whatever you say, you can't deny the fact that you willingly broke forum rules.

And whoever negged you has the right to do so, since they consider you untrustworthy by offering services against forum code.

According to your history, the most reputed person on this forum Lauda has clearly marked you a big cheator here,
Then why you have not been given red mark for scam attempt to a legitimate project?

I can't belive it..
How can it possible?
It's possible because you have attempted to cheat their website. I'd advise you to stop this foolish pursuit (even if you don't want to admit the obvious).

Do you see my video? Please see my video.
I have. It's useless.

Doesn't this mean your cheating attempt and defaming that website is more severe scam than mine?

Yes, it's similarly like igniting members against a trusted website.

How did you come to the conclusion that i was mafiacoin?

In fact I was one of the people that called BS on mafiacoin's attempt at cheating paradice. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here by quoting someone that i strongly oppose(in fact he gave me a completely false neg trust for it), and saying that i deserve a red trust for it.

Stop making crap up. Anyways, what i'm trying say is, what you did was shady, and ibminer or whoever else has every right to give you neg trust for it.
4273  Economy / Lending / Re: Securring a Loan on: December 02, 2017, 06:27:42 AM
So a prepaid mastercard or visa would be a valid form of collateral?

Nope. It's not valid collateral because it cannot be easily liquidated at face value(if you want instant liquidation, the lender would have to expect something like a 30% haircut or potentially more off the actual value of the card), and also if you provide the card number, CVV, etc. to the lender, you still know these details and can use this card on a purchase.

Not to mention, the card could be carded. Absolutely no guarantees when it comes to a newbie providing this as a collateral.

I would suggest if you really need the coins urgently and you are willing to provide interest for the loan anyways, why not just buy BTC from vendors on paxful using your prepaid card?
4274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ShapeShift.io is a SCAM !!! on: December 02, 2017, 06:23:43 AM
shapeshift.io exchange stole my BTC !!!

Paid for ETH with BTC. (0.002 BTC)

Here is the transaction link.

https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/address/38dE3TpoZuJWAEfJx7ZPnLzmehRi4M2CUB/  (Confirmed)

Still did not receive my ETH or a refund.

Support is not answering.

I know that it's not a big amount, but why should they steal customers money?

Here is the profile of shapeshift on bitcointalk, already tagged with negative trust. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=314825

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMY EXCHANGE !!!!

Shapeshift is not a scam, although they have a negative trust rating it is actually not them just receiving deposits and not sending out the exchanged altcoins, but rather regarding the transaction fees that they charge which imo is unfair as well.

It's only a small amount and i doubt you'll get scammed by them. Although time is a factor here, you may be waiting for a while before you receive any sort of tangible asset into your wallet, even though they have promised to send it ages ago.

Let us know on the updates.
4275  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust farming user caught on the act + Other alt account found on: December 02, 2017, 06:20:30 AM
It's not just trust farming - it's also basically forcing/pressuring people into paying for something that the newbies think takes money to do, but in fact is completely free and accessible to all.

I would not be surprised a single bit if those accounts are indeed connected. In fact i think it is likely.

It's funny because he even says that people who tip will get 2x faster confirmation time, which is completely untrue. Antpool transaction accelerator/other free acceleration services that he uses provide the same speed regardless.

4277  Economy / Lending / Re: Invest in Sweeet | First Legit Investor-Plan on: December 02, 2017, 06:10:35 AM
I woke up this morning to the terrifying message that my Paypal account is being permanently closed, without explanation or reason. It said: "At PayPal, we value a safe community for our customers to do business. We noticed activity in your account that’s inconsistent with our User Agreement and we no longer offer you PayPal services." Also: "Any money in your balance will be held for 180 days, after which we’ll send you an email with instructions about transferring your money." Luckily there is only about $800 on the paypal.

Even worse I am still at a debt to repaying all of your investments due to my margin trading losses. I now no way to grow the funds. I don't know how I will come up with the money yet, I need to find a new payment processor. For now expect possible late repayments, partial payments, and all repayments will have to interest less unfortunately. If anyone has any information of services like Paypal for receiving payments please contact me. Also I will not be taken any further investments until this is sorted.

Im extremely sorry to put everyone in this position.

Dang, but tbh you should have expected this, since you deal with BTC and all. It's not uncommon for paxful/lbc traders to get their paypal limited afaik.

What you should do is list down all outstanding debt and your current assets that you are ale to use to contribute in repaying the debt. Perhaps create a little group chat or whatever to get consensus on what should be done with the investors, whether to lock investments in USD to make it more manageable, etc.

For paypal alternatives, there is okpay, advcash, PM, etc. that i'm sure you are aware of. But not sure if they suit your needs.

4279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional Investors - will they enter in current price or look to crash? on: November 29, 2017, 10:06:02 AM
Of late, there are lot of news in mainstream media and news on Wall Street getting into BTC. More of a good news though, but still I am afraid if they will look to manipulate and crash the market just like what happened with recent China instance.

I doubt they will have the guts to short bitcoin right now.

And since there are not that many institutional investors that are currently holding a long position in bitcoin, it'll be quite quite difficult for them to try to "crash the market" by profit taking. Only way would be taking on short positions.

And that is risky as hell, as i've said. Price is growing so fast that if you tried to short BTC at $7k your position would have been long liquidated. It'll just create a short squeeze as that happens.
4280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit 10K. What's Next? on: November 29, 2017, 09:57:56 AM
As you can see in the screenshot below Bitcoin just hit 10K:

So, what do you think the price is going to do? How long will it take for Bitcoin to hit 15K, or maybe 20K, or perhaps to you expect Bitcoin to correct and start going down?

I'm expecting corrections at $13K to $15K. Anything below we'll definitely see more increases in prices, up to these points. Then a correction may happen to bring the price down to around $10k before a rebound, then we'll see what happens from there.

But right now, i'm still holding.

Selling now would seem too early, but buying is risky as well. Just hold your coins as is is a good option to take.
