A lot of people would trade BTC options whether these options allow delivery or not.
I only state that I personally could/would use them as a method to purchase BTC if these options allowed/required the option to take delivery.
Also, if people sell naked BTC options they get what they deserve if someone asks for delivery.
But the real question is would the trading of these options on a large scale affect the price of BTC?
Assuming people take delivery of BTC then I only see it as another way for people to purchase BTC therefore it probably would cause more buying pressure.
Assuming people do not take delivery then these are only side bets on the price, denomintate in USD or whatever other fiat currency they are sold in, so no real but possibly some psychological effect.

Trendon used a "black box" and told you that you would get your BTC back plus interest.
These bozos also use a "black box" but are telling you up front that you will get back less BTC than you put in.
I guess that makes them more honest than Trendon.

Scam is on going it seems. He owes money to dozens of members of this community, and still people is so desperate to have an Avalon that bids in the scammer's auction. I'm amazed by the fact that he doesn't need to provide any guarantee on the fact that he won't run with the money... Nor provide any collateral to protect his investors in case he just decides to stop paying dividends. In his world a 4% yearly return on fiat deposits sounds "good"
Meanwhile in Bitcoinland we can make 4% a week just lending fiat to BTC day traders and speculators.
As I have said many time before he/they need to learn more about what is happening here before they try and jump in with some hacked up old fiat based tried and failed many times barter/exchange basket of goods idea.

Repeated from earlier in the thread. I think this is closer to what will happen if they/he ever actually does it: In this example I deposit 100 BTC in your "bank" and tie it to the USD internally by choice. Now internally you either hold the BTC or you sell them for USD on the market right away. You must do one or the other. Assume you hold the BTC and at the time I deposit the coins the price is $200 per BTC. So I have $20,000 on deposit, right? I come back a few months later and ask for my $20,000 back. But assume the price has dropped to only $100 per BTC! In order to get me my $20,000 you will need to give me 200 BTC but you only have 100! You will need to go buy 100 more BTC in order to pay me back my $20,000 you own me. This will cost you $10,000 right out of your profits!
So I conclude that in order for your system to work you will need to sell the BTC as soon as you get them - or you might go out of business very quick.
So he is forcing you into USD (or some other fiat) deposits, selling the BTC as soon as he gets them (they have no value according to him), and hopfully returning your fiat denominated deposits when you ask for them back. In his own words: BTC is just used for transport into and out of his black bock fiat denominated system. He does say he can pay you 4% on you fiat denominated deposits - which is better than some banks I guess. |

However, we are not them, and we are solvent, and we are hard asset backed. Unlike the aforementioned which is paper-asset and derivative backed.
That in itself is a proof perfect.
But, we suppose you have failed to grasp that concept. Perhaps in the future the fog will lift for you.

But, what you fail to see, for sake of the fact that you cannot see it - is HOW MUCH support we Have gotten away from this forum by email.
