UNB heading the wrong direction, now at 819 sat.  Crazy how someone would spend thousands renting ASICS when the price is rock bottom.

Great find.  I've been saying from the beginning that LTC and doge would be great coins to diversify into.

A device like that would be a game changer.  That's what the masses need to start using crypto.

How can one miss that bling? It is  AWESOME

Hahaha!  Thanks for the laugh.  Didn't think of it as bling, but who knows, if IXC pops then that link will definitely be the bling of blings.

Your signature is more useful than most help desks.

You probably mean my signature.  I'd hurry, I expect an influx of new iXcoiners soon.
4345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: July 09, 2016, 08:37:23 AM

Ixcoin is on Coinomi
Try it & let us know
You could claim the 0.1 ixc on the faucet and send it to the coinomi wallet

YESSSSSS!!!!!

That was the longest [Two weeks™] ever!

Now I gotta get an android.  Two weeks™.

Thanks for the corrections.  It's also possible that after this difficulty reset that the hashpower will drop again to some low level and the next 2016 blocks will take a year like the last one.  We'll find out tomorrow.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 08, 2016, 08:53:43 PM

100TH?  That's a crazy jump.

I wonder if that run around the $5 million cap was just a test run to see if there were any sellers which could be their target.  Or maybe they simply wanted to buy up the whole book cause there is a solid plan and they think they can hold it at around $5 million cap.  If you look at all the coin at around $5 million, most are a total joke so I think it's possible.

Like you said, the way it's set up to match the bitcoin halving we should know soon.
4348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 08, 2016, 08:26:37 PM

Cheers - I'm not sure if i'm glad you agree or not...

Also, I am certain that this is a sort of pre-medetated, slightly planned, rush job on the hash rate, to time the UNB 2016 block difficulty change to be almost exactly in line with the BTC block halving...

From my first original post - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=539945.400

I am certain UNB is about to get the doing of its life, then back to now, but probably much worse...

Would I still buy UNB...only if I waited for the top of the bubble to come, then I would short the absolute pants out of it all the way to 0.

Honestly, I don't think I would do this, but, thats what I call a short term gain for a long term loss, although, if the top man has already cashed out at that point, its really only everyone else thats still involved that gets effected at that point...but it might be enough to piss a few more people off...the more people you piss off, the more you have to watch yr back...

I noticed the difficulty was timed with the Bitcoin halving but I didn't give it much thought.  I think it's smart/clever to do that since there may be quite a bit of money leaving BTC after tomorrow if the Bitcoin price doesn't take off as many expected so why not set up your coin the best you can.

I hear you about the whole Ponzi scheme thing but really, check the top 20 coins, maybe 5 are legit, the rest are Ponzi or they're selling vaporware so who can blame Jim for trying to position UNB for some potential influx of BTC.

If there is a huge run to say the $5 million cap level (~380k sat level) then that probably would be an ideal short but there's no way to short a coin like UNB.

Sonix you just depressed me in a big way.

Thanks for speaking your mind.  I wish Jim would offer a rebuttal.

From a purely technical standpoint I can not find a better coin than Blackcoin (BLK)

I'm a pure PoS believer....

However, I do hold almost as much IXC because I see it as the best long shot coin.  The best reward/risk.

2nd time I've heard that about BLK this week.  If I get the BTC in time I'll take a look at it.  Personally I've always stayed away from PoS coins cause they'll never be secure enough but short term even SHT should blow most coins out of the water.  At least that's the plan.  Wink
4351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BlueCoin (ß) |First X11/PoSV Hybrid | PoS Velocity | 5% Annual Rewards on: July 08, 2016, 01:30:17 PM
Why this Coin is Dumping big on C-CEX ?

Any idea?

It's been very volatile lately due to poor liquidity; the exchanges are having issues with their wallets.  At least that's what I've seen on Yobit.
4352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: July 08, 2016, 08:28:25 AM

So IXC is a great coin since it is merge-mined (very secure because of this) though I am unaware of its development status, does it even have a website?

LTC has also good security with a minimum tx fee that also won't have a similar issue that BTC has in regard to tx/s.

ETH has many problems, too many to list here.

Ripple never had a chance...not sure why people are still beating that dead horse.

Tether is a sure win, if you like a steady price of $1.

Then there are the other older coins (NameCoin, PeerCoin, NovaCoin, FlorinCoin)

I could code this message for you but perhaps next time. I do have about 500 LTC in reserve, also about 75,000 FlorinCoin. Otherwise all the other coins (except Bitcoin) I have purchased have seemed to have been a poor investment so far.

-PoolMinor

No, let's save the message coding for the special secret plans.  lol

-  I agree with you on the coins you listen although I think ripple is gonna well since banks seem to be adopting its platform but they'll use it in conjunction with other tokens like Bitcoin.

-  FlorinCoin, I used to own a huge amount of florin - I like their Alexandria plans but I'm not sure how far they can take it without big funding.

-  Ethereum is broken but too many big names and big money have committed so I think they'll re-code it from the ground up but that may take a long time.

-  IXC is actually developing [in stealth mode].  Smiley  The website is www.iXcoin.info.

-  I'm working on a minor perturbation but am missing one component.  Well, I think it's gonna be more of a interstellar supernova shockwave; I personally prefer that over minor perturbations.  Wink

I'm going maximum risk - all or nothing for iXcoin.  Whatever happens happens - but this is one event I won't hold back for any reason whatsoever.

4353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: July 07, 2016, 10:11:47 PM

Bitcoin is dumping hard.  Halvening in less than 2 days.  I think a lot of people were holding BTC hoping for a huge run before the halvening. Now that it looks like the run is over i think people are dumping some of their BTC cause they see it as dead money and will buy alts.

If that's the case we could see select alts skyrocket in the next few days and weeks.  Some should go up 100+ fold.  I would focus on the ones with good devs, little to no inflation and mass accumulated and consolidated.

Things should get very interesting after the halvening!
4354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 07, 2016, 10:02:16 PM

Quite a few alts which have been mass accumulated for the past 1+ years could see massive runs in the next few days to few weeks.  Some have already started.  I think there are huge Bitcoin holders waiting to see if the halvening in 2 days will lead to a big run in Bitcoin.  If that doesn't happen then many will move to alts.

If that happens then we should see a select alts really shoot up, especially those with little to no coins available for purchase and low inflation.  UNB would be an ideal fit so I'm excited to see what happens in the coming days and weeks.
4355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 07, 2016, 05:20:57 PM

I stacked it deep; let's see them try to run the 7s and the 3s.  lol
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 07, 2016, 04:20:25 PM

Sonix7, if you're right and pools or whatever are gonna run this coin up in the next few weeks then I'll owe you a big favor.

And as far as doing something good with the profits, I have some things to pay for but I hope to put a big chunk of it in something good for the entire crypto community.  Maybe even resulting in the elimination of many scamcoins, seeing how much they annoy you.

That said, I really believe Blasko and UNB are legit which is why I invested in UNB.  I am a long term holder although I would sell lots of what I currently hold for that other project which absolutely has to get done ASAP.  Thanks again for all your input [and the other guys as well], you're a Godsend!  Smiley
4357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 07, 2016, 04:04:30 PM

That was a sobering post, Sonix; what can I say, you're right.  I'm trying to stay positive here and hope whoever ran up the whole book yesterday has a plan.  Maybe same guy who threw 24TH at it.

The same guy? You mean Jim who's name is all over the iSpace pools, as well as the sly admission towards renting the hash? Any reason you haven't noticed the glaring obvious?

Probably got paid well from Voxels and decided to tend to his little shitcoin.

Bahahaaaaaaa.  I wish Voxels were paying me for this.  And this isn't a shitcoin, you're obviously not smart enough to look a bit closer at it all.

So tell me why would Jim pay 1,000 times more for UNB coins when he could have quietly accumulated like it has been done this past year+?

The hash power ok, I think he even said he was throwing that at it but it makes no sense to overpay in such a ridiculous manner unless you have a plan or you're just nuts.

4358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unbreakablecoin (UNB) | SHA256 - Over 3x Bigger then Bitcoin | No Premine on: July 07, 2016, 02:29:15 PM
Just to be clear on one thing, at this point irrespective of how much hash someone points at UNB the next diff change will be as large as it possibly can be.

Difficulty re-targeting is meant to happen every 7 days (2016 blocks) - but the blocks have been so slow that the last difficulty re-target happened on 1 March 2015, over a year ago.

UNB follows the BTC model and difficulty re-targeting is constrained to a maximum of x4 or /4 - and because this period has already been so long even if the last 200 blocks were run off in less than a minute the difficulty re-target would still be to one quarter of the current difficulty.

If the next difficulty is going to be only 25% of the current difficulty then why the fuss?  As far as fair distribution goes, UNB has been ridiculously cheap nearly its entire existence and for most of that time it has had very little hash power mining it so most people out there could have mined it or bought it for a few dollars per day.

WHAT?!??!??

The ENTIRE book got bought up, like entirely.  When I said I was planning to buy it up I was thinking up to around 7500 sat.

That's not what happened, somebody bought EVERYTHING!!!  It went as high as 355,800 sat, eclipsing the previous high of just over 80k sat.

Yeah, that's not normal so what gives?!??
