441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold Prices on: January 08, 2018, 09:51:00 AM
The last time I did this analysis, gold was a thousand times more expensive than Bitcoin, if we compare the same proportions of total supply.  By now, Bitcoin has risen 30-fold, and so gold is only 30 times more expensive.

Of course, I was roundly dismissed for speculating Bitcoin could get anywhere near a six-figure price in dollars.  If I was criticized for being too bullish on Bitcoin, today I might be seen as too bullish on gold.

How to answer the question -- where to from here?  As I wrote recently, gold is objectively a better money for securing savers' freedom from governments and central banks.  So, if the long-term price ratio is 10 to 1 in favor of gold, Bitcoin can still go up 3 times.  It'd still be a great return by the standards of any asset, but Bitcoin is not quite as compelling as it used to be.

Especially, many early owners of Bitcoin, now flush with capital, who are also sympathetic to gold, might decide to sell some Bitcoin and buy gold at these prices.

We have to be careful here.  This entire analysis was based on the (pretty common) assumption that governments and central banks have nothing to do with gold and Bitcoin prices, and that the future of Bitcoin is to be another limited-supply monetary asset like gold, but at an appropriate relative price.  (The reality, at least with gold prices, is of course the opposite.)

So, the real question is what the Western elites want (and what China and Russia want, if they're able to counter the West in the field of monetary engineering.)  If Western debt levels and resulting economic/social/political problems are so bad that the elites have decided to use cryptocurrency to effect a reset of the entire system, to effectively wipe out their debt and start afresh, as just after World War II, then the sky is the limit for Bitcoin and cryptos.

If, on the other hand, the Western elites are only preparing for such a reset by taking advantage of cheap crypto prices so far, then we have to watch the relative price to gold.  The rise of Bitcoin, so far, is consistent with this scenario too.  From here on, our thinking might have to change.

For the answer to that question, watch the news closely for the signs!

if gold or bitcoin, for the short term fast profit earned bitcoin but in use trading not in save
if for the long term yes gold can be used for jewelry and liquid of liquid every time it takes will quickly liquid it and small pieces if the price rise sduah certainly come up
but if for a good investment, ANTAM gold is not gold jewelry
The thing is, they were both profitable it is just that bitcoin price really varies from time to time unlike in gold which is controlled by the national government. But if you will both invest to them make an 80:20 80% for bitcoin and just allot 20% of your money to gold, since bitcoin is more profitable than it.
80 /20 would be a good ratio because bitcoin today is getting more profitable in terms of trading how fast the price varies is also signifies that in a short period of time you can earn profit.however gold also is a good investment because as we all know how stable is the price  is and certainty and security is good compare to bitcoin.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 07, 2018, 01:45:18 PM
Good game by the Minnesota Timberwolves again, it has been a long time since I have seen a very impressive game the led as much as 30 points over the New Orleans Pelicans and that is without having Jeff Teague on the line up. The big 3 of the Timberwolves also have scored more than 20 points. Gorgui Dieng also put up a fantastic performance but the problem is he got a lot of fouls early on which some of them are clumsy calls made by the ref. Hoping that Tyus Jones use this time as a starter to show what he got for the team.
Good win for them, I hope they will be consistent, both teams are really good but honestly IMO they are not consistent and they will not have a long journey in the playoffs in ever they will have a chance to belong in the top 8 position, the playoff is still far but they need to work hard now to build a good chemistry as the talent is already there, they just need to be more matured to win games especially in a close game where every position is very important.
Yeah good chemistry is the key to become consitent team because basket is a team effort even if you've got plenty of talented players with out chemistry it is difficult to achieve a consistent team. Confident of the player are also essentials to create a good chemistry.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 07, 2018, 01:26:30 PM
Bitcoin with it's high fees and slow transaction times is hardly suitable for payments – spending the same fee whether you buy a coffee or send $100,000 is a joke and the promise of scaling solutions such as the Lightning Network hasn’t been fulfilled.[1]

While there's no shortage of old and new believers to keep the party going, along with plenty of developers working to create better, forked versions of bitcoin, I’m betting my chips on a more flexible alternative.
The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum,
[2] bitcoincash, litecoin and more......

2018 Will Be ....... Year’s? [Writer choose ethereum, what will be your choice?and why?]

Source:  [1] [2]

My vision  of bitcoins this year  2018 is more  challenging and more investor to come in this field to invest a business in trading, andmining process.and i thinks if 2017 is the year  of bitcoin how much more this coming year in 2018,this bitcoin continue to bloom in the world of crypto market, and all transaction will become fast and realiable in market exchange because the block chain  will wide there pathway and pending transaction will lesser, maybe this is the more prosperous year of bitcoin now, because its start to bloom its value in the first starting of the year.
Bitcoin infrastructure is becoming sophisticated this year transaction become faster and transaction fees become lesser  and the price still rise and many countries start to adopt .The popularity of bitcoin will become widely spread all over the globe.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 07, 2018, 01:07:32 PM
start the season in the best possible way for Rublev (20 years old)!
he is in the final against Kevin Anderson in Doha.
For him it is already best ranking (32th) even losing! If he wins it is 29th.
Considering that many top players are injured or in bad shape, Rublev can easily enter in the top 10 this year.

No no, you are mistaken. Rublev was in final against Monfils in Doha. And he lost.
Anderson was in final of Pune against Simon. And he lost as well Cheesy
I've watched them both play mid last year and they were both playing good at that time.
How times have changed if they are losing now.
Are anybody a sure win now a days?
For bigger tournaments such as the Australian Open starting the next couple of weeks then we can start expecting those players to begin to step up their game.
Atleast I am hoping they will by that time it matters most.
They just don't take this tournaments too serious. They just wanna practise for bigger event such as Australian open.
Autralian Open is great  opportunities for the player below 10 ranking because top players cannot join autralian open they should step thier game they hire good coaches to prepare them mentaly and emotionaly. Because the is opening tournament of the year it happen in down under.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: January 07, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
Maybe a big group like 10-20 person that have many bitcoins can control or at least make a movement at the price of bitcoin, usually people called this person is "whale". Imagine if so many bitcoins suddenly sold or bought, it will make a change on bitcoin price for sure,

I agree, it absolutely is not impossible to achieve. But the thing is, it also is not something that will be easy to accomplish or can by done by simple people like us.

But, if we talk about a huge number of people like us agreeing to buy or to sell at the same time, maybe like hundreds or thousands of people like you and me, then i think it will make a pretty huge difference in the price of bitcoin.  Specially if some big players would also jump in.

Also, even if we talk about just 30-100 big whales dping something,  ir will also give a huge difference in the current price. That is what i think.
For me if those fishes invest Bitcoin there is point that bitcoin price will go down Bitcoin now is even bigger than a GNP of a nation. Big investor are manipulating bitcoin price would also mean that bitcoin is safer to invest.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 07, 2018, 11:02:32 AM
I mean in my view if this happened it would only last for a small amount of time, as I cant see something like this lasting for more then a couple of minutes. Because once something like this was to happen it would freak everyone in Crypto and probably cause a mass ETH selloff, as people would think that ETH is massively overvalued as it still wouldn't be Bitcoin -- the big grandaddy of investing and crypto.

People do like change, but losing Bitcoin as the #1 and the #1 on price isn't something that I would think people would be too keen on. There would be massive resistance and the massive price drop of ETH after this.
This is not far to happen because ETH is also developing thier technology .If this will happen their is a fair competetions in the crypto currency world .but I forseen that there is a massive dumping in BTC and changes will occur very quickly because investors are very keen about this.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 07, 2018, 10:42:00 AM
Not all ICOs will work, depending on the project itself. So my advice before you follow ico you should see the community, vision and mission of the project. Many large successful ICOs and their coin increments reach 300% +
Yeah there are ICOs that will not work maybe because it doesn't catch the attention of the investors because the team working is not able develop the project road map and the white paper that not really able convince investors or maybe doubtfull about the project.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: January 06, 2018, 09:20:14 AM
Bitcoin is online cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is investment side and trading platform. It's source of income by trading. If you trade and holding BTC. They would just spend the time to understand and study about BTC.
There are lot of opportunities in Bitcoin when you are in the third world country you  can join campaign and even join mining but mining need much capitalization, first things to do is to join  campaign because it has no capitalization it just your time and internet connection but since we have a lot free internet connection you can do it free. When you have enough token you can start do trading .
449  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 06, 2018, 07:42:02 AM
If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?
It really would be a nice thing to happen but will the killing miners fees allow that. It has recently become crazy transferring Bitcoin and the backlog of unconfirmed transactions is another worrisome thing. Except all that are taken care of it may be very difficult for cryptocurrency to make fiat transaction disappear.
Yeah there is what we called adoptation bank will adopt bitcoin the future certainly bank also will have its rule in crypto currency world maybe some of them will cater as exchanger to fiat. But today I can't see how bank will adopt bitcoin they dont have concrete plan for these.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 03:13:00 AM
Japan has a full support on cryptocurrencies specially with Bitcoin. But there are other countries that do not support Bitcoin, some bans it from using. My answer to your question is we cannot say when. With the performance of Bitcoin and other alts coins last 2017, I think more merchants or companies are now thinking about entering crypto world or by just simply considering the acceptance of crypto as payment.
If I were the owner of some establishment it is a great advantages to accept Bitcoin payments because the price of this currency is pounding and sky rocketing
There is a tendency that in a period of time I can double my profit .I think stablishment in Japan seen this as an oppotunities that is why they are accepting bitcoin.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: January 02, 2018, 07:13:15 AM
most of my investment are in crypto but aside that i invest in stock marketting. I also have joined some fiat crowdfunding programme and also invest in education Wink Smiley
Apart from cryptocurrencies, another Investment I make is in stock markets. Investing in estates is quite good also. But what do you mean by investing into education, do you mean by running schools? Cause I don’t see any other way you can invest into education, apart from that.
Aside from crypto currencies real state is a good investment because it will never divaluate and not volatile but the problem of real properties is it need bigger capitalization and higher taxation.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO discussion on: December 30, 2017, 04:25:40 AM
Ico is a good way to earn a coin with a discounted price but lets be responsible, if we think that coin may a scam just avoid it mate. But some of them also have promising project. Lets just do our own research, buy at you own risk
In fairness to good ICO there a lot of good project also who prospher specially thus who has a good functional product and services mate try to look for the ICO or just try to join some local forum they can help you there.
453  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: December 30, 2017, 03:18:04 AM
To the investor  never think of you are being to late. Because in the world market you don't know what will happen next.  Just be optimistic,  the up and down of prices is just part of the market trend and it signifies that bitcoin will always be alive.
Its never too late to invest to bitcoin because if you look it statisticaly the trending is quite empressive.if there is a down trend in the price is maybe temporary. If you buy it today next year is a reaping year for Bitcoin.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Do I Discover Good Signature Campaign To Join on: December 29, 2017, 12:42:12 PM
You can do a preliminary understanding of the white papers and technical routes of their various projects.
Second, they can join their group through telegram to learn more about it
You can also learn more about it through some ICO review sites. ,

Also check out if they have a strong and established social media presence.  Campaigns by established teams that have been active in the community for a while will yield better results.
Also you can join some local forum that can advise you for some technicalities because aside from reading they also help you creating wallet .but most importantly you should also look for ICO with functional product supported and their plat form could also give you some hint about the validity of the project.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: December 29, 2017, 02:48:46 AM
We were fear to cashless world because in this kind of society we have no assurance. Why? Because technology is made by people, some innocent people were possible to hack or steal their money without knowing and it's hard for them to determine what happen? Also systems of all digital currencies had no hard security to protect the amount of all users. Moreover there were no insurance for the people who save high amount, it means that savings in digital world was taking your own risks too.
World can easily survive without cash with no problem but the system of world can’t run smoothly without money because if the world was cashless then people has to use some good for exchange like the old times, which is also a mean of cash so the system of world can’t survive without cash because now it is a need of world. Moreover I think no one fear cashless world because everyone has his own idea that how to survive in a cashless world.
fortunately people who already know the technology of course they will not be afraid of cashless precisely they are happy when the digital currency can be implemented in their daily lives because it would be easier for them in making transactions. while the majority of the world today is still not ready to accept that technology? let alone many poor people in the world? certainly many of them still comfortable using cash. they will not understand about new technology dude.
In our time we are doubtfull how these technologies works  aside from we are completely educated because there is no learning institutions who cater formal training about bockchain technology or crypto currency.but for the next generation maybe not a problem for them because technology development still moving forward into a new concept of to secure your investment into cyberworld.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: December 28, 2017, 01:57:08 PM
Altcoins have a very good future, you just need to study the market and keep up with crypto-news. Then pick the right altcoins for you so you can make a profit.
[/quote
Yeah thier  are lot of altcoins that have a promising future like altcoins or ICO that supported a functional product or services thus altcoins will surely give you profit in the future because you are not just investing virtual currency things but also your investing functional things.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: December 28, 2017, 12:51:39 PM
No doubt now days cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin are gaining a lot of popularity but I personally don't think that they will be able to make physical money disappear. This is because physical money still over power cryptocurrencies in many ways.It has a physical form and can be used directly in any store. It does not require any internet connection.People are using physical money from many years and they have a lot of trust on it and it is difficult for any cryptocurrency to gain that amount of trust .Moreover government is not able to control the transactions made through Bitcoin .So government will not allow any such currency over which they have no control to over power physical money. These are the reasons why I think that cryptocurrencies will not be able to make physical money disappear.
Physical money in our time maybe not totally disappear because the system is yet ready for digital currency the banking system, the govenment arround the world and the perception of the people of the physical money but because of digital world and the young generation are into it because of versatality of digital currency I think would be the treat of eradication of Fiat money because their perception will be different they will percieve things that is virtual rather than physical.

458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP ICOs with a working product on: December 28, 2017, 09:24:42 AM
I will add from myself several interesting ICO:
1. MiniApps.pro: https://www.miniapps.pro. A Platform for a New Generation of Chatbots. (Phase 1 of Token Sale has finished)
2. Cindicator: https://cindicator.com. Decentralized financial analysts enhanced by Artificial Intelligence (ICO ended)
3. Cappasity: https://artoken.io/. The first platform that uses blockchain infrastructure to create, rent and sell 3D/VR/AR content. (Phase 1 of Token Sale has finished)

Thanks, these are really quite interesting and quality projects, but their ICOs has already ended.
As soon as there is accurate information about the second ICO phase, I will probably add them to the list (if they really have a working product).
really projects worth attention, but I'm surprised by the Cindicator, because its activity is bad enough. How can you be convinced of the real prospects of this project?
Cappasity is really doing well because of it's unique product and the dev team working in the team and even they have a plan to do phase 2 of the project so investors watch for it.

I really appriciate making this page really informative it help seekers to find right ICO to invest were there is a working product working behind it like for instance the cappasity it has a unique product being supported which also a usefull product. I hope we will continue to share update in this page.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to world economy on: December 28, 2017, 08:29:27 AM
It could make a great impact just like what is happening now.
But it needs progress too. It cannot stay to be like this for long processed transactions which takes days even with average payments. That will be unfair for the users.
One more thing is the fees. The large amount being paid could lead to people looking for something else which is better and cheaper.
Because we like it or not world will be coming digital if we ask bitcoin will have an impact to the world economy  yes it has, because it every currency will seek for domonance that the people will recognize as the world currency.that world economy is dependent to it like fiat money today dolars is still holding the dominance of world economy.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: December 28, 2017, 03:04:49 AM
I never worry about it because he has always made a big change in my life so far, but there's nothing to worry about now that bitcoin seems to be getting more popular among people. there are many investors and businesses that show their support for bitcoin and I'm sure the future will be more because they will see what bitcoin can do. continue to hold and you will reap the rewards in the future, wait for that time will come for you all.

I never get worried about because the future will only lies to the further development of the currency .there are team who work for further development to make the future certain and assurance of investment.
