Some of u are blaming getting older for overpopulation and yes of course it adds up but u should also look at the fertility rate. In Niger women have 7 children, in Macao only 1. Half of the world's population growth will be in Africa. Should we stop living healthy and die sooner because the birth rate elsewhere is out of control? No, it's better to improve living conditions, maybe have some birth control, so the population growth goes down.
At the current state there will be never something like birth control out of different reasons. China tried it and failed with it. Reason? People wanted more children, or wanted to get a son instead of a daughter so they killed sometimes their daughters after birth or other things. I also assume that it is hard to make something like birth control because how do you want to control it? And when someone has more children how do you want to punish them? Prison? A fine? Humanity in a whole is too stupid to see their own mistakes and problems until it is too late. Overpopulation is a myth look at all the free space jungle you can go farm and live. It is a political agenda. More birth = more population = more use of Ehealth product time to develop some real good terraforming projects for the mars expedition  and start to fund the mission ^^ now worries that will happen too. way before any overpopulation occurs  |

According to their website it will be tomorrow 15:00 UTC. They are going to post a guide with all information regarding the ITE, I think they should do it soon with just one day left until ITE. Long life research program is great and all but I think self diagnosis portable equiment would be better for those who has no access to hospitals during emergency and non life threatening systems.
From what i understand the platform is a collection of medical condition with its treatment and not a tool to self diagnose once self, but if they are going to build one i agree that should be used in none life threatening condition. Portable self-diagnosis equipment is kind of a double-edged sword. From one side, it can help a lot of people, but from the other side, people can think they don't need to visit a doctor, because this equipment can diagnose them. I think such devices should be used with high caution and under doctor's control. Like in case you need to control your blood sugar, stuff like that. we already have blood pressure measuring devices. these aren't a stand in for doctors ,but are good to check if you need to go to the doctor. same for self-diagnosis devices. |

Nice, curious to see the presentation from Aubrey, but i will see all of them I am curious to see Aubrey's videos as well. I wish it will bring a good impact to ehealth project. These videos are focusing a lot on the scientific background. Something that would also be interesting is what they think about the consequences for the society. I mean, it's obviously not every human being can live, let's say twice as long, as today. Are you intending there should be the chosen ones? Or some people are just phisically unable to live longer than they do now? Of course, there has to be 'chosen ones' if you ask me. Just look at the world around you. We are polluting the environment, exploiting the natural resources and the human population is growing and growing. Just imagine now, that every human who lives today, will be able to live 160 years instead of 80. Where did you get this information? Because dev wrote several times that any unsold tokens will be added to the User acquisition pool. As levyashin already said, it was his or her suggestion. Dev never confirmed this idea. But maybe dev missed this, so he could read it in our quotes again, because i like the idea. We need The project team to clarify this detail rule. spread the projects is very important, but protecting investors is a higher priority thing. What can devs clarify? Whatever they do with those tokens, the only question is how many such unsold tokens appeared in the end (how many % of all the mass if to say precisely). Maybe we have a chance now for crypto social media. A lot of people and companies starting to delete or at least stop using facebook for advertisment thanks to the big data abuse scandal.
I have been thinking about it too, but some websites that needs to be login with facebook. So Im stuck for a while. Maybe remove personal contents. Will gladly move to Sphere after this. I only use Facebook because of my spotify account, besides that i stopped using it and i have so many people around stopped using facebook due to some privacy concerns, which seems true after latest news. So Sphere can thrive with the privacy side of social media. I think the main point is to bring responsability to what people shares. I often see people posting rather confidential information, and this is totally crazy: people should learn what to post and what not to post! It's not what we just post, are you aware of the facial photo recognition in facebook, you upload a photo and you don;t need to tag yourself, they just recognized your face and auto tag you. considering the trouble that facebook is going thru , and that zuckerberg is selling his share, sphere might be coming out at the right time. |

I think dev team won't postpone at that time, because postponing for the second can cause losing some hype or interest of the potential investors. The better solution if the market won't go in our favor maybe is to cancel the ICO. Because if the market keep in the down trend, there is no benefit we will get. nonsense, the market will go back up. we just don't know when. it will probably take a while. |

They already raised a respectable amount of eth with a huge 200 eth limit. It is a sure thing that they will raise a lot of money on public sale. 200 eth in these days isn't a lot 200 ETH is everything they raised or the investment limit for a individual investor? if that's the maximum limit of 200 ETH it's pretty much even though it's now the ETH price is down but it is also not easy to find individual investors who are ready to invest that much 200 eth is the minimum contribution limit for private sale round for per investor. It is not a small amount even eth dropped. It is more than 100.000$ Considering 4000 ETH was raised until now(which mentioned in the biotron website) i think there are many people invested 200 ETH and more in Biotron. 200 per person or 200 as presale cap ? I checked the Biotron website again and found the info below, Exclusively for contributors with 200+ ETH. 4000 ETH already raised. So min invest amount is 200 ETH per person as far as i understand. I can't find such kind of information on the website, but opening a public sale with such high entry cost would be rather crazy IMHO. I think there's a misunderstand around... That sound impossible for me. I think Asia market is not a bad target for the start of cryptoflix. There is a lot of people in Asia, also there is a lot of people who appreciate crypto, so a good point for a streaming platform that will be based on crypto.
Asia is a wide market with very big scope to grow. Like no serious content from Netflix yet and Amazon prime is just catching up. Asians has different market. Also I think they don't follow much online streaming. They want to but most of the content is not available due to geo restrictions. So, they tend to move towards torrents. As you are speaking about Asia you should more specific this. For example Japan has Netflix, Hulu and others to stream. I think same goes for South Korea. Well, even India has Netflix but not most of the content people here like to watch except Netflix originals. The availability of these regions of good Internet can be another one obstacle, I think for them it will be sufficient to focus first on several countries where all these problems are solved for example Mexico or Brazil. Internet speeds are now very much matured in urban areas. Also, rural areas there's sufficient speed to play a medium quality video without any buffering. there are still many regions with internet issues. price is also a factor to be taken into consideration. |

Basically the whole article is about why Vitalik thinks it's important to fund projects and startups that research slowing or undoing aging. The article says that WHO recently discovered that there is a link between people aging and getting sick and if we could slow down aging, we could possibly get rid of such diseases as cancer, heart attacks, Alzheimer's etc. Vitalik also confirms that he invested into undoing aging researches $2,4 mil, it doesn't specify which project specifically he funded (but I guess it might be eHealth). P.S. it's a good article, I think it should totally be translated to English and published on eHealth official web. I think the $2.4mil was his investments into SENS, if I am not mistaken. At least around this amount he invested there. But I could imagen that he also invests into eHealth now or in a later stage of the project. I also can imagine him investing in a second project. That said, I'm not sure if undoing aging is what humanity really wants. If nobody dies and new babies are born the consequences will be catastrophic. I am pretty sure the social networks haven't died, not nearly. The mass is still using them and in fact the user numbers are going up. Of course there is a movement against excessive social media use, but still the majority is addicted to it. I don't believe social networks will die anytime soon. Globalization won't let that happen, people are using them not only for entertainment purposes nowadays, but also for business and work. We can sure try and limit its use, improve it, but it's won't just vanish into thin air. social networks won't die , the concept itself isn't going away. the idea will change and evolve with market demands. |

I am not sure whether the data is to be used for scientific purposes, the main goal of Biotron is to to offer the same social media platforms but where the data generators (users) earn as well in the same profit model Medical data probably not. It will be your internet browsing data, internet search etc. Big companies are using those data for development of their digital marketing strategies. Also there is countless medical ico out there just for this reason. It wouldn't be wise to compete with them. Other information would be more than enough.
