Now the numebr of coins is going down!! https://prnt.sc/ifqlv4

not because I have been paid. How is it possible??? Is the pool taking back the coins from me?Huh
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / I need a tech explanation please on: February 16, 2018, 07:15:27 PM
I started mining Rapture coin on bsod. Hashrate the same. All suddenly, as you can see from the graphic, the numebr of coins per time/hasrate decreasd drastically. The reward per block stays the same. Why this happened?

I have a problem!

I am mining on http://miningpool.shop at 15MH/s
based on https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/ I should get 63usd per day ABOUT

Actually I am getting only baresly 25usd per day: cDN93QxJZRWSr6bqoMPvZPZ9nxkdLRNFTK

can someone tell me why? I know that the profits calculators are off. But this is WAY off!!!

I have been mining on Miningpool.shop too, and I have not received what the mining calculators predict, but I never do.

i think calculators are really calculating based on what you would get if solo mining over a long period, and you got exactly the average number of blocks for your hash-rate (rather than the random blocks you actually get when solo mining.

If I could solo mine I think I would average approximately 1-2 block (15 -30 CRP per day) but it's hard to work out how to solo mine, since when I type "help" in the console there aren't the usual references to the stuff that would go in the .conf file.

When you mine on a pool, especially when you are mining on pools like the ones that offer CROP mining (where people auto-switch all the time based on API driven auto switching mining managers) - the pool's hash-rate can change dramatically over 24 hours. I have seen miningpool.shop with over half the nethash at some times, then others with only an eighth of it. I have also seen this variation on some of the other pools.

This means that your stability of "luck" will vary a lot. When their hash-rate is high, you will get regular payouts as they mine regular blocks, but when it is low it will become more random.

This is all very obvious and dramatic when you mine such a new coin, because there aren't large, established pools with loyal miners keeping up a high predictable hash-rate - it's going to vary all over the place.

Then there is also the hash-rate variation between what your miners report and what the pool actually credits you with, and rejected shares, etc.

Calculators say I should make about 16/day and over the last 24 hours I made about 12. I'm not happy with that obviously but it's around what I expect.

I don't trust small pools at all really, but with these totally new coins that's all we have. The alternative is to go back to really established stuff like equihash coins, but then you go back down (in my case) to $20/day if I'm lucky. Even with the lower payouts the pools are giving me on CROP, I'm still doing $30-$40 /day.

Thanks a lot for your kind and long reply. Very interesting. With how many cards you make 30/40 per day? on which pool?

453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: February 16, 2018, 02:08:38 AM
I am having a problem with CCminer and CCminer Aleixis.

Basically when I launch them they freeze. No error message. Just freeze and sit there not mining forever  ---> http://prntscr.com/ife51p

This is the diagnostic log: http://prntscr.com/ife67s  (in diagnostic mode seems to start but in "normal mode" no).

On that rig I have a fresh installation of win 10, 5 1070ti and swap file is 8000 - 50000

Out of 10 times I try, 1 or 2 it starts and when it starts it works correctly. The other 8/9 it freeze there at the start forever.

Any help would be really appreciated.

I have deposited 220.000 buzz a few days ago but still no stake. Is it normal?
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asrock btc+ pro hash rate 12gpu on: February 14, 2018, 10:59:44 PM
Ok problem fixed. Maybe I can help someone. I set the cpu priority to 5 and the hasrate skyrocketed from 50mh/s card to 69/71 mh/s card. So YES it was a cpu problem. For now it's fixed using cpu priority to 4 but I am going to buy a more powerful cpu now.

Thanks!

Ok. The G4400 is being used at 65% with ccminer and tribus. I bet I need a more powerful cpu
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asrock btc+ pro hash rate 12gpu on: February 14, 2018, 10:43:09 PM
Ok I tried increasing the virtual memory to 130000 but still the same problem...
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asrock btc+ pro hash rate 12gpu on: February 14, 2018, 10:33:44 PM
virtual ram big enough? would make sence if you add more gpu“s and pagefile is to small you get a bottleneck

I was using 6000 as mining and 40000 as maximim. Should I increase it?

Here the options are 1) cpu not powerful enough? But I read of. many ppl using the G4400 with 12 and not problems...i can still try an i3 6300 but just if it's really needed. 2) more ram? 3) more virtual memory? 4) update windows to the latest 1709?

man what the fuck are you retarded? i tell you what could be the problem and you ask "more virutal memory". no make it smaller

What should be the MIN virtual size? I just added the 13th card now

Ah ok. I will now increase it. I admit I am sort-of retarded sometimes. And this was one of those times!
