Now when I think about it again... You are right. Sorry for my stupid post. I must have missed this topic every time before. Smiley

444  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Submitting work to multiple pools on: October 30, 2011, 01:28:50 AM
I wonder how is it possible that none asked this question before. I was thinking about this some time ago and I think there is no mechanism implemented yet to prevent this.
445  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin.it down? on: October 28, 2011, 06:08:33 AM
It's down since yesterday and it seems that nobody cares.
If you need something right now, use google cache.

Who is responsible for wiki? Mt.Gox?

I believe using search engines leads to memory loss.  There are studies.

Those studies weren't so much about memory as they were about reasoning skills and basically getting mentally 'lazy' since we learn that everything can be figured out by pointing and clicking.

I have had that problem my whole life. Even with easy mathematics I reach for the calculator.

I am living example of this. Search engines made my brain lazy.
447  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [0 GH/s] Eligius pool: ~0Fee SMPPS, no reg, RollNtime, hop OK, BTC+NMC merged! on: October 20, 2011, 10:50:50 PM
Do you guys know about some pools (other than eligius) that are working without registration?
It would be cool to just put few url's with my BTC address as username to bamt config as backup pools and simply don't care about logins, workers set-up, manual payments and so on...

If serious stock exchange was unavailable for such a long time, it would be in news all over the world...
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Is There Any Hope Left? on: October 20, 2011, 03:38:49 AM
Mining stopped to be profitable for me yesterday. I made some calculations and find out that it costs 31eur to mine 24/7 in 1 month. I can earn 28 to 30 eur in current price...
And guess what? I'm not going to stop.

This is email I have sent them on Sep. 24:

Please forward to appropriate department.

There is blank page on checkout.
Cannot display / pay invoice.
While trying several times, two identical invoices showed up in my account (#42, #43) 1.26 BTC each.
Also cannot open ticket in client area. (No departments available)
I was unable to send you this message via contact form on your webpage.
Not even mentioning that you have just sent me my password in plaintext. (I hope you are storing it salt-hashed in database)

Are you really doing business since 2008?

No answer from them yet

457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone is trying to manipulate the market (Mt.Gox) and are successful... on: September 22, 2011, 02:24:58 AM
ThiagoCMC, I have been thinking about this since last week. The price will not be based on $ if sellers of products and services are able to directly spend earned bitcoins for they needs (pay electricity, rent for their office, internet/phone bills... in bitcoins). It's a kind of magic circle (It cannot be closed until it's closed Cheesy) But we are going offtopic with this...
458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic Selling on: September 09, 2011, 04:49:11 PM
I really hope that price will stay under 4 eur until next week. Its Friday evenning here, so my bank transfer will not be finished sooner than tuesday. But I am worreid that I have missed it once again Smiley How I wish international bank transfers could be finished under hour...

If it was anything like this forum, it makes sense that they removed it.

Don't forget that claims are being processed manually so it can take a long time... there is still a small chance to get your money, jago25_98 .
