441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 30, 2019, 05:47:06 PM
The supply of a coin has a huge impact on the value. This is because the value of the tokens is a division of the market capitalisation and the total number of tokens. This explains why projects with low supply tend to have a better chance for increased value as compared with projects with high supply.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: August 29, 2019, 07:37:48 AM
Not all bounty tokens take long to enter into the market, though most of the project don't get listed on high quality exchange like binance and others. The market they list may not be able to increase the trading volume and price of the tokens. I believe that with time the volume will increase and they'll be more exchange listing. Let's not give up on the newly established projects.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest me some Good Altcoin for longterm Hold on: August 29, 2019, 07:28:24 AM
For long-term hold, I would suggest that you consider the first 20 altcoin on the coin market cap, ethereum for me is a good hold and other coin like XLM, bnb and ripple can be included in the portfolio. You need to be watchful of the project and know when to recycle the portfolio for maximum returns.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Cash on: August 29, 2019, 07:25:24 AM
If we want to turn altcoin to cash, will we need to sell it for BTC first, and then send the BTC to service for conversion to USD/EURO before finally to bank?

There are several methods to convert altcoin to fiat, depending on the country and platform in use. Some platforms allow the conversion of some altcoin to fiat like ethereum, ripple and Bitcoin cash is much more popular compared to others. Some platform even prefer the conversion to be made to their platform tokens before one can get the fiat into the bank account.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yes!! Binance To Provide VIP Status For Hacked Accounts on: August 29, 2019, 07:21:27 AM
The issue of hacking on binance is becoming something else, I'm sincerely not happy with the rate at which the news is coming. Binance needs to fix their security problems once and for all. Individual person data shouldn't be in the hands of the wrong persons for anything, you never can tell what they could use it to do.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest way to buy crypto? on: August 28, 2019, 12:58:46 PM
Changelly is too expensive. Deposit your money via bank transfer to Binance exchange and buy crypto there. Currently the most legit crypto exchange and they also have very low trading and withdrawal fees.

I don't think the fiat method of purchasing cryptocurrency is available for every country. There are several platforms where one could purchase cryptocurrency, though it may vary as not all countries would be available. In my country, luno cryptocurrency exchange supports fiat payments. Also remitano platform is another peer to peer platform for trading cryptocurrency for fiat.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: August 28, 2019, 12:51:38 PM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?

In my opinion, the reason why it seems like deceitful projects are getting their way is because there's an influx of new people into the cryptocurrency space daily who are not informed and in most cases tend to learn the hard way after being duped severally by the unscrupulous projects.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 28, 2019, 12:40:07 PM
It would be quite difficult to earn a living from bounties, unless one is very lucky to get good projects. Bounty hunting was much more lucrative before now, but due to the increase in bounty hunters without a corresponding increase in allocations, the reward has diminished substantially.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 28, 2019, 12:31:33 PM
Let's be honest to ourselves, it is only few individuals who venture into crypto for the  fun of the technology but mostly, people are into crypto to make investments and earn profits on their funds. Investment can be short or long term but either ways, profit is what every potential investor wish for.

I agree with you, most persons in the cryptocurrency space are concerned about earning from the industry. Even those who are interested in the technology, still earn from the market. Its best to be mindful of the market volatility and be patient. Some investments may take longer term to get maximum returns.

451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 27, 2019, 12:04:30 PM
We can't control investors also they risk their money on investing in some projects
the best we can do is to encourage them to stay, also this is the job of the campaign managers and
head of the project the project to prove to them that their money is really will get profit in the
long run since what we really want is to take profit as an investors
we can't blame them, specially they saw a lot of scam projects before

One of the reasons why investors could appear impatient is as a result of what has been happening in the industry. We hear stories of developers abandoning the project and dumping on the investors. This is quite unfair as it discourages other investors from holding for long term.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is it easy to list token in bittrex? on: August 27, 2019, 11:54:33 AM
Bittrex is a global exchange and committed to adhering to the SEC regulations. So listing of projects would be based on the requirements of sec and this requirement is not very easy to fulfil, secondly there is a need to pay the listing fee which is quite expensive for an upcoming project to afford.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: August 27, 2019, 11:49:02 AM
In fact it is very easy to generate tokens on the ETH series so anyone can issue their own coins, which is why there are many junk and scam projects. I think we should not invest in ICO at the present time.

I agree with you on the idea that the process of creating smart contract is very simple which has increased the number of abandoned projects, but I doubt if people still invest on ICO considering the nature of the market and the influence of fake projects.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: August 27, 2019, 11:40:08 AM
In my opinion, during those days when ICO was the talk of the town. It was very much lucrative, though there was some issues but several persons made substantial wealth with ICO. I remember, the market was also very favourable during those periods and gave investors huge returns.

456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: August 25, 2019, 03:50:11 AM
IEO is a more secured method of investment for investors as it ensures that the funds are raised by a reputable third party which in this case is the cryptocurrency exchange. The IEO also guarantee that the tokens would be listed after the successful tokensales. This has made more people willing to invest in an IEO arrangement as compared to the ICO.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 25, 2019, 03:36:15 AM
I realised that one doesn't stop learning as long as you're in this industry, there's always something new to learn. Some of the persons that make mistakes with their wallet are not newbies, but probably didn't remember or mistakenly copied the wrong information. We all need to be careful in managing our wallet, some people even fill their private keys on airdrop forms, thinking its the public keys.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 24, 2019, 06:29:55 PM
One thing I've come to realise is that in life, we always have to be patient, there's an adage that says nothing good comes easy and we've all heard that the patient dog eats the fastest bone. Investment in cryptocurrency requires one to patiently wait for the market to increase before selling out to take profit.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: August 24, 2019, 06:16:30 PM

I used to do Air drop and bounty. Get all coins in time when the market is down. The value of all these coins lost 90% even now looking at it I do not believe it is no longer valid.
I cannot sell them because no one buys them, and its value can only be enough to transfer to exchange.
So do you have a way to hide it or delete all the coins from your wallet?

It's actually funny that one could have several coin whose cumulative value cannot finance the gas fee needed to move it out of the wallet, in cases like this you have to either abandon the wallet or hid the token contract address, if you're using Imtoken wallet.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hodl no shitcoins for future altcoin season on: August 24, 2019, 06:13:01 PM
2017 is in the past now and dont expect shitcoins will bring you profit like it did in the past, you have to review your portfolio and make sure that every tokens and coins you holding are worth been hodl.
Try not to pick coins because they are mineable or they have actualized POS,coins without genuine use case will bite the dust additional times and lose esteem, this is 2019 and crypto world is reshaping, make the smart move

You made a good point, I remember few years ago when we made substantial return holding some shit coin on crytopia. In those days, you can be lucky to have your coin pump and get sold in very high price, to benefit from the loot, we just hold a large portion of coin whose value are a few Satoshi, when this coin pumps we can make up to x10 the capital.
