Goodmorning to ye all Cheesy

Updated Slots! Cheesy

Why is my emoji angry?  Cheesy

But I just wanted to ask, are the pictures in the post examples of the coins we're going to receive? Is there a new batch of them or are we getting the 2015 coins for example? I've never gotten physical coins so I apologize if this is a dumb question. I also have a hunch and feel like I might have already won this one for some reason
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [GUARANTEED WINS] $ Professional tips: winner or refund! $ on: December 11, 2018, 11:11:40 AM
If we take into account that he's being paid by a signature campaign that will kick him out if he scams you, it wouldn't be profitable for him to scam 10 people for 0.1 BTC. He is earning that in less than 2 months of signature posting and has a future potential of joining a campaign that will pay even more.
It's not like he's risking anything. Do the math and you'll see that it's free money for him if he gets lucky and picks well.

Well not free cause it's lot of work  Cheesy

But indeed the deal is simple! I'm only giving the best daily tips but you don't even need to trust me on that!

It's hard for such a business to work out for you imo. It's easy to guess the outcome of a few games, you could probably just stick to the lowest odds for each game and probably be correct most of the time. But when shit hits the fan you'll just rub it off as "Well, I just give tips! I can also be wrong sometimes!".

If you believed that much in your abilitiy you'd bet thousands on games yourself, make a hell lot more than just a bunch of mBtc. But yeah, "good luck".

444  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scam schema on the forum on: December 11, 2018, 10:31:44 AM
Thanks for the info guys, i just update the first post adding a list of the known sites of this schema, if you have another site to add to the list, please post it here and I will update it.

I will not open another thread on Scam Accusations section because 'cryoser' already open one:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038504.0

Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Trading Discussion > Scam Accusations (Moderator: Cyrus) > SCAM ALERT https://crypton.bet

I just found this thread, there is someone on the forums spamming his links to death, and every time the mods delete his account he posts with a new one. I hope people at least understand how a newbie account has nothing to lose, and trusting to use any service of theirs is most of the time going to be a shot in the foot.

I would like to add that whoever uses online wallets, then installs an unverified chrome extension, and logins to their online wallet using that extension.... was a disaster waiting to happen in the first place. Please increase your security, if you HAVE TO use online wallets or exchanges, only use ones that use 2FA or at least send you an e-mail whenever you want to do an action. It might be frustrating but it will save your money in case of anything like this. And don't ever install anything you're not confident of what it does, and of its source..

I feel sad for you and @Get-paid.com, but I can't feel sorry for you though. The naïveness involved to make such a mistake is not one of a crypto-holder.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TechCrunch throws shade at Coinbase on: December 10, 2018, 07:20:20 PM
but I remember back in the years when Coinbase was considered as a Bitcoin purist, now it's a profits purist (or a capitalist if you prefer).

It was only a purist because that's where the only significant money was to be made back in the day. I'm not sure if I'd class them as an enemy of Bitcoin, but they're certainly no friend of it. They've supported plenty of cockamie attempts to fuck it up over the years. I think by this point they would probably prefer it to go away for good so they can concentrate on things they can control.

Bold to claim that they can control even one altcoin on the market. It's crazy to see that not even one altcoin ever managed to hold itself against bitcoin, everytime bitcoin takes a dump, every altcoin follows. I'm sure coinbase only care about filling their pockets but it's not as easy as just adopting a bunch of alts and calling it a day..
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TechCrunch throws shade at Coinbase on: December 10, 2018, 02:04:09 PM

NEO (NEO) - has potential

I just quickly skimmed some information and news about it, I might spend more time to understand it. Could you give a quick opinion on why do you believe in it?

I also noticed it's relatively not included in a lot of (non-asian) exchanges? (Kraken, Poloniex, ...)

EOS for instance is even listed on BitMex.

They're also slowly rising to the top 5 coins with the highest market cap, so if you never heard of it I recommend giving it a look.

They believe in the fees they'll earn. That's about it. But the same applies for the people buying and selling them. It's not as if anyone's gonads are aching for decentralised storage or a drain cleaning ICO.

Honestly due to the bear market that went down for the last month, I'm sure coinbase lost a hell lot more than something they can recoup in fees, they're not just a typical exchange, they might be a crypto-investing business, but in the end it still needs to run on fiat.

I'm sure this business decision has come just for them to be able to diversify their investments. Fees are obviously going to generate a bonus income if they have enough volume of these "shitcoins", but I doubt it was their only motive.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / TechCrunch throws shade at Coinbase on: December 10, 2018, 01:15:41 PM
Just thought it was pretty funny, their title reads : Coinbase abandons its cautious approach with plan to list up to 30 new cryptocurrencies

But the url says something else Grin

It's still some serious news nevertheless, because it seems like coinbase is starting to believe in the potential of a lot more coins, their potential list includes coins like : EOS (EOS), Augur (REP), Storj (STORJ), Stellar (XLM), XRP (XRP)... with these names only making a small amount of the list, I don't stand against the TechCrunch journalist calling the rest shitcoins.

I still think this is good for the future, decentralization and smart contracts have come with a lot of innovation, it would be a shame to miss out on some of them, so I guess Coinbase decided to change their stance towards them. But it's still questionable that they didn't choose to pick a few more well known coins like DASH, NANO, so I wonder how this decision is going to age in the upcoming months.

Going forward, anyone who is guilty of "post whoring" will be removed from the Campaign.

Thank you.

Lmao, these dudes legit shoved 25 posts in 1 day... Makes me feel pretty rare because my post quality never went down even though this week has been the worst for me irl Smiley Oh well
449  Economy / Services / Re: Bitsgap.com 🚀 Get a reward for simple feedback! 🚀 on: December 10, 2018, 10:51:44 AM
I don't care about the satoshis, but I'd be way more interested if your arbitrage solution had cross-exchange transfers.

I read your terms and it said that I needed to have both balances on both exchanges for it to work : for example xxx BTC on Exchange 1, and xxx USD on Exchange 2, and if there's a BTC > USD > BTC arbitrage path it'll use both balances..

Well, what's the point though? Smiley Those 2 trades make 0 economical profit. In case there is a spread, it's going to be caused because of a value change between the two pairs, so if BTC is going down, then regardless of whatever arbitrage profit I just made, the whole value of my btc just went down, so I was better off selling everything to USD anyways. And vice versa.. The whole problem is keeping my money into two concurring currencies, if USD goes down BTC goes up. Why do I want to be making pennies if holding BTC makes me lose money every day.

I know you don't want withdrawal rights on your apis, which I wouldn't give to you anyways, but it's not impossible to implement other solutions :

1. Make the withdrawal / deposits manual by the user.
2. Have your own balance on every exchange, and instead of withdrawal / deposits that might take a few confirmations, cross-transfer between accounts.
3. I dunno, you're the business, think of something.

Either way good luck with your business, even though for trust factors I don't see myself using you a lot in the long run. Hope you don't disappoint your users!
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: December 10, 2018, 12:10:46 AM
Games aren't as fun if there isn't money on the line.  The adrenaline rush you get is much stronger when some level of risk is involved.  Look at the big name athletes like Michael Jordan, John Daly, and Pete Rose.  They should of been content winning at their respective sports but they needed to fuel their gambling habits by betting millions of dollars.

I never knew that M. Jordan was a gambler, I googled expecting some sort of crazy self-bets because he believed he would win his games, but it just turned out he just hit the casinos a lot. I guess it's just in some people's blood Smiley

But I was just going to say that it's difficult to take those examples and generalize them for gamblers. I'm sure people with big money to spend can afford to gamble because while it might be a possibility to make even more cash, losing it still won't cripple them. They still make just a small percentage of all gamblers. I asked once about skill-based games, I would still recommend stuff like that over luck-based gambling. I'm sure even Mike Jordan had more adrenaline levels on the court rather than out of it
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core Wallet Address changed no BTC value? Need help on: December 09, 2018, 11:54:17 PM

Once again I apologize if I get any terms mixed up, I'm still fairly new to BTC. So I have a backup phrase and my BTC address where I can see my balance with Electrum. So I don't think I have private key(s) where I believe its more hash generated unreadable.

Any solution would be great from online to software, etc just so I can send to another BTC address that isn't associated with Bitcore.

Follow @BitMaxz's steps. Once you generate the private key, import/sweep it into electrum.

452  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: December 09, 2018, 10:21:12 PM

Interesting idea. Basically you a re starting a small investment fund. Maybe you should think about extending the investment time, 10 months is really short time for an investment to be succesfull.

It took bitcoin less than 2 weeks to crash 40% Grin

10 months is definitely long enough for a coin to pickup if investors see potential in it, or unfortunately, for it to be dumped if it was a scam. If anything I'd suggest even making it lower because of such high volatility, but it won't change anything because all cryptocurrencies are driven like this. They stay completely stable for a few months, then for another one just skyrocket or dig a hole, and that generally is the end of it, making it stable until the next event happens again to repeat the cycle.
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Human readable addresses on: December 09, 2018, 07:38:53 PM
Without relying 3rd party, the only choice is hard-fork Bitcoin and add feature where you can make a transaction to assign an address with specific string and pay some fees (which will be taken by miner) depending on string length.

But obviously Bitcoin won't add complex feature like that as it could be abused in some ways.

Even if one were to come up with a solution it'd have to:

1. Either be stored on the blockchain, or on a side-chain. And then every name will be first come first serve, and to each address its identifier will be globally known for every node. This is probably what you want, but it's the hardest to implement because this needs either a hard fork, or you're basically going to need to convince a lot of nodes to start storing your side-chain of address names.

2. Or be from a 3rd party. Start up your own business and have people claim their names on your service. It's not difficult to achieve because only a very small % of addresses are ever being used. But you'd then also have to convince a shitload of services to start using your conveniently names addresses. The only issue here is that overnight, you could fuck people over by changing these names around, so you'd need some sort of public chain where people can see the names being claimed, for it to be immutable. Which loops back around to 1.

I'm not saying this is impossible, but for such a minor convenience, and in such a late stage of bitcoin, I don't think anyone really cares at this point.

455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am a loser. My only question now is, how do I tell my wife on: December 09, 2018, 04:36:12 PM
Admit it before the wife, I think she will understand you.
Do not keep everything in ethereum, create yourself a package of 5-7 top coins and wait on.

So the whole package crashes down and he's even in a worse boat than before?

Honestly because you mortgaged the house without your wife's knowledge, I don't think your marriage means really anything to you. You don't want to tell your wife either after you made such a big loss because you're scared? Scared of what? I might be sounding like some naive samaritan here, but I personally believe marrying someone means you're going to share AT LEAST a part of your life with her. Not telling your wife about all this just means you might be better off alone.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help please!Multibit classic,btc sent,tx invalid and money gone on: December 09, 2018, 12:59:43 PM
The tx you pasted in your original post is invalid, but is it because it was broadcasted to the network and then dropped, or did you never broadcast it at all? (What I mean is that did this link ever work before : https://blockexplorer.com/tx/1839146c39d4844cd871a1aa471fcb6005d41f4213ecf5316ee10c92bc632204 ? If it did then once you import your keys into a new wallet you should see your coins back. If it didn't work before, then your money technically never left your address, and its probably just a multibit issue. Either way using electrum or bitcoin core will fix your problem.)

Hope you got your coins back and learn to take cautions when using old wallets.

This looks like the best suggestion to avoid many of the occuring issues but don't know how much skills do i need to get it.
Would you please provide some helpful guides/tutorials on how to easy setup my own node? or just explain it here if it's that easy. Thank you

Running a full node might fix issues like these in the future because you'll always be up to date with the full blockchain, but in my opinion you don't need to have a full/pruned blockchain copy to avoid these issues, just stop using old versions and unsupported wallets anymore, and try to store your private keys somewhere safe (using physical copies like paper wallets, or somewhere that can't be accessed online) just in case you suspect you might run into problems like these again in the future.
457  Economy / Services / Re: [2 OPEN SLOTS] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: December 08, 2018, 10:16:12 PM
I wish there were more active campaigns like this one and that form of advertising came back to life. There's no competition among crypto businesses anymore.

Easier to say.. I'm sure if chipmixer didn't make enough money to cover the costs of this campaign then it would stop. It took over the bitcoin mixing niche and I'm sure they have very little competition over it at this point. The only businesses that come next after this campaign in payouts would be gambling websites... So don't blame it on competition, it's just not that easy to make a business on new services besides gambling or exchanges.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 08, 2018, 07:29:02 PM
Sorry I'm late! Thanks for the PM reminder.

Chelsea v Man City 2:1
Leicester v Tottenham 0:2
Espanyol v Barcelona 1:3
At. Madrid v Alaves 2:0
Hertha v Eintract 1:1
Juventus v Int. Milan 3:1

Almost! Fuck I had just a bit of hope for Man City to score one back. But hey, this result was no surprise for me at least Cheesy Too bad I didn't have enough balance and was just sketched out enough about it that I didn't dare back the result with money. It was an amazing game though
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 08, 2018, 11:17:12 AM
Big match available today Chelsea vs Manchester City and recently i have seen the odds between both of teams that the odds for host team was higher but this time i was pick for Chelsea ML because i expect they can able to defeat Man City however this weekend Liverpool will against weak team and i do like if Liverpool win and they can taking over first position if Chelsea won too

Chelsea's poor performance in the previous match against Wolverhampton Wanderers hopefully won't give an impact on this big match. The game will be tough and it will be very difficult to predict who will win. The draw result will probably be the most ideal result for both teams.

I'm betting on a Chelsea win myself even if they look under-favored considering City's great performance this season. It's just that as we near the end even crazier shit starts to happen, and because this is Chelsea, I would definitely trust in Hazard's game to pull off a sneaky goal or two. But yeah, this is one of those harder games to predict.
460  Economy / Services / Automated task bots. Crawl websites, listen to changes, manipulate & save files. on: December 08, 2018, 10:14:27 AM
Any bot. Any task. Any constraint.

I can create a bot that does any of the following things for you, check the things your bot will need to estimate the price of your bot.

Web Crawling :

  • One page : 25$
  • 2 level Crawling : 50$
  • Recursive crawling of a website : 100$
(Similar link structure : a blog, a website with articles, etc.. where the same code is guaranteed work for every article)
  • Recursive crawling involving custom rules : 150$
(Different page structure, custom code for each page to retrieve your data)
  • Recursive crawling including off-website links : 200$
(For example download website with shortlinked ad links that redirect off-site that you want to scrape for data)

Web Crawling add-ons:
  • Fully automated (once run, can keep running listen to changes, run in defined intervals, etc..): +25$
  • Proxy rotation : +25$
  • Simulate user session : +50$
  • Captcha solving : +50$
(Beta, I never had to deal with captchas in practice, but in theory I'm sure I can implement them. Google reCaptcha might be tricky but included.)

Automate tasks :
  • Any file manipulation : 75$
(Ordered standalone as an offline bot to automate a local task. Check other plans for manipulation after crawl.)
  • Save text to csv/json/... : +25$
  • Save non-text downloads and custom file formats: +50$
  • Send GET/POST requests to existing API : +25$ per request type
      (Example : upload a file to host +1, send download link to link shortener : +1, upload link to your database : +1 = total 3 * 25 = +75$)
  • Send GET/POST requests without existing API : +50$ per request type
(no API = required to simulate session, like login into a page with user browser headers and cookies to upload a file)

Example order :

"I want a bot that can crawl a list of search results from a webpage, check each one of them for name, email, and phone number, and save them into my database."

Translation in dollars :
-Crawl list of search results from a webpage, check each one of them : 2 level-crawling = 50$
-Automated maybe? Listen to changes on search results webpage? : Automated = +25$?
-Save them into my database : +25$

=75$ - 100$ total.

Extra info :

- Contact me via PM, we can then further discuss through Discord.

- Bot is coded in NodeJS, it is also able to be ran on a webserver, in addition to windows/linux.
- Once I agree to make your script, 50% of payment is to be made upfront.
- After I make your script, I will send you a live demo of it in action, I can also send you any csv/json of the output.
- I will not send you the source until you send me the remaining 50%, or send it to an agreed upon escrow.
- Once source code is sent, I will provide a one week support to fix any bugs that arise. But no refunds.

Leave any further questions in comments. Cheers.
