442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox lost 750K Bitcoins? on: February 25, 2014, 02:08:01 PM
Can someone please answer me this question.

I keep reading everywhere that Mt. Gox "Lost" 750k Bitcoins.

Did they lose them forever? Like when someone loses their private key, or hard drive crash.

Or

Were they stolen and still could be in circulation?

Thanks
443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: For the life of me I can't understand why people used Gox to begin with on: February 24, 2014, 02:56:17 PM
Nothing wrong with new people. But a bit of research would be nice. Especially all the buy on gox and sell on another exchange new people.
444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: For the life of me I can't understand why people used Gox to begin with on: February 24, 2014, 02:24:14 PM
You just made your account a month ago.

Mt. Gox used to be the best. It was all we used back when we could use Dwolla and Mt. Gox.

What's with all these new people coming in?

Another example:

"Why don't people just buy on Gox and sell on other exchanges!"

Seems like John is no longer part of the company?

I hope John is ok with this, but it's info that people should know.

John has confirmed he is no longer working for Hash Fast, he told on Skype. It appears HF-Engineer as maybe gone too.

448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the maximum amount of bitcoins you ever held? on: February 19, 2014, 08:53:29 AM
I had 1000 back in my day.

This was about .0002% of all BTC in circulation at the time.

I am here working at the DataCenter working on the BJ's. I have 12, want to put 2/case.

Where do I plug the motherboard power for the 2nd BJ into on the Power supply?

There is one port labeled "MB" on the power supply. It is already taken by the first BJ.

Thanks
On the BJ, there should be 2 sets of PCI-E cables coming out of the PSU, and one 5-pin control cable.  One of the sets of the PCI-E cables along with the 5-pin connector are already connected to the existing (top) board.  The other set is zip-tied up by the PSU.

You'll need a chaining cable (16 pin ribbon) and the screws/standoffs to add 2 boards to one BJ.

Once you have that, simply mount the second board, connect the chaining cable from the top to the bottom board (using the 2 closest 16 pin connectors), MOVE the 5-pin cable to the second board, and then connect the spare set of PCI-E cables to the new lower board.

Could be just 2 Bj's in one case. I have 12 BJ's. I wanted to put them all in 6 cases to save space. He has a cable joining them today.

453  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 14, 2014, 10:13:01 PM
we are half february, some news jet? Or still no refunds? and babyjets and sierra's?

They don't care about us. I ordered 12 Baby Jets + 12 Upgrades.

I can't see them standing by their word and me having 30Thash.

They took gambles on us. When it did't go in their favor, they took the easy way out of things and we had to pay.

I love freedom, love the Constitution. And I'm actually thankful when I am able to do Free things. I'm sure most Americans take it for granted.

It is true that the people at the top don't exactly represent us 100% and have been chipping away at our freedoms.

At the same time, some people at the bottom haven't been doing much about it. Maybe they will realize what freedom was when it's gone.

When will we get our upgrades? Has anyone gotten a response?

Thanks for your ongoing input. If anyone finds these online from the US, let me know. They seem hard to come by.
