If they are alts, then they are abusing Merit too:

Please share your address here or the exact Error you're getting. Afaik for every failed transaction, a specific Error is stated:

ex:
Warning! Error Encounter during Contract Execution [Bad jump destination]
Warning! Error Encounter during Contract Execution [Out of gas]

And is it still safe to use mew to store all your tokens from airdrops and bounties?
For me, yes, as long as your Private Key has not been exposed to others. Btw, they have MEWConnect app now for extra security (available on iOS, they're still working on android version)
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: September 22, 2018, 11:37:06 PM
Btw when can we try the beta? Anybody knows? I'm not that active on Telegram lately. I've registered for the beta whitelisting but no email comes.
Most likely it already started, someone in TG gave some review/suggestions about the platform after trying it. Not sure if there's some delay in the invitation email or the limit was reached already (if you didn't receive an invitation).

Hello. When someone submit a request for beta whitelisting, an invitation email will be received? Is it for all who requested or random users?

Sonny - Does Not PM First:
There's a limit to the number of people that will be given access to the beta. However, it's first come first serve, not random

John, you should look up the thread in the newbies section that has the same graphic. It's more up-to-date and has more detail.
Also someone needs to do up a blurb on the Trust system that I only just noticed existed today, if it hasn't been done already.

Hello! There's an important announcement from the Telegram Group:

🔥 Important Announcement 🔥

☄️ To boost leverage and value of BQTX tokens,  the Company has decided to limit BQTX Allocated tokens for ICO and Private Sale to 200,000,000 and burn unsold tokens.

💫 In addition, as we are negotiating MOUs with several exchanges we will be launching a quarterly buy-back program upon listing and company will use 30% of its exchange fees to quarterly acquire BQTX tokens from listed exchanges and burn those re-purchased tokens.

I saw that the website has been updated with the changes too, I have PMed Zapo just in case he didn't know yet so that he can update the Main post.
Check the before and now below to see the difference:

446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a new new feature on myetherwallet? on: September 21, 2018, 06:31:51 PM
I have used it according to the instructions and what I got back!!!
Sorry, smth went wrong. Try another QR code

I created the new wallet and don't have an access to it! Crap!
Have you tried refreshing the MEW site to scan a new code? If not, please do so and update us if it worked or still not
447  Other / Meta / Re: Search before creating a new thread on: September 21, 2018, 12:08:00 AM
That would be a great feature, however, the problem is not the forum, it's the people who use it (not all). Think of it, even if the forum displays the related topics, the decision is still on the person if he wants to view and check the existing ones or continue posting his own thread. If the person is lazy enough, he will not even bother.

In addition, users must exert some effort too to help the forum.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a new new feature on myetherwallet? on: September 20, 2018, 10:59:23 PM
Well, MEW team made an app (MEWConnect) for extra security when opening the wallet or making a transaction. Since you'll save your private key on your mobile using the app, there's no need to manually paste it into the site, all you have to do is to scan the code. I haven't tried it though, because it's only available on iOS as of the moment, still waiting for the android version.

If you want to know more about it, you should read from here: https://mewconnect.myetherwallet.com/#/about
Plus, the guide: https://kb.myetherwallet.com/getting-started/mew-connect-user-guide.html

450  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: September 20, 2018, 05:40:21 PM
I deposited about 4K Safex back in 2017. When they delisted it, I thought I would keep it there and withdraw whenever I want. With no warning, I see nothing on my balance, though I see it in my deposit history. Any ideas?
No, you shouldn't keep it in the exchange. It is mandatory to withdraw your balances asap when the coin/token was scheduled for delisting because the exchange will not maintain the wallet. Meaning there's no way for you to get the coins back when it was removed.

Afaik Cryptopia is giving a 1 month time frame before completely removing a coin/token, however, was this (SAFEX Delisting Notice (15/12/2017)) the only notice for SAFEX or I missed other news? Because in this notice there was no exact schedule given and the decision wasn't that finalize. You can contact the support for a complete and accurate details, but I doubt that you can get your Safex back.
451  Other / Meta / Re: Not Fan of Merit Point System on: September 20, 2018, 07:12:18 AM
Do you understand already how the merit system works and its purpose? You seem confused based on your last thread

Why merit point owner should give his earned tokens to other users.

I do not need merit point, keep them in your cold wallet ....

With the responses you got from that thread, you should know by now that tokens are irrelevant to Merit points. If still not, then don't create new threads to whine and just make sure to read and understand about the system first.
452  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: September 20, 2018, 05:57:44 AM
Hello, few days ago my rank was Jr. Member but suddenly it has been decreased to newbie , but I don;t know Why?

You'll find the answer here: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements
453  Other / Meta / Re: How new rules enhance the quality of Bitcointalk forum ? on: September 19, 2018, 07:16:20 PM
You mean spamming? It's different from scamming and scammers are not being banned here.

Anyway, didn't you know yet? The change already started : The new rule (1 Merit for Jr. Member) is already reducing spam
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: September 19, 2018, 10:08:02 AM
but I can't find how much time it takes to reach Hardcap?
without concrete expiration date
There is no way to find how much time it takes to reach the hardcap
If you are referring to the scheduled end date of the Main Sale, it is on December 18th. Not stated in exact words on the website, but a countdown timer is provided there.
Tbh, I wonder if you three really visited the site if you didn't notice the timer Huh

Let me emphasize this info:
BQT ICO ENDS ON 18th DECEMBER 2018

Note: I've archived the whole thread for reference. I want to check some of the accounts that always quote pyramid, it's because most of them who are doing it over and over again are the same users talking to each other with vague replies. (even after joniboini told them to stop quoting that way)
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | EDO |EIDOO Wallet - Hybrid Exchange - Marketplace| OVER 80k ETH RAISED | on: September 19, 2018, 08:02:47 AM
They will give you the things that you need in the future. You can read the big news here: https://blog.eidoo.io/eidoo-rebranding-fiat-counter-value-fingerprint/

They will have fingerprint login? Im ok with password but this is interesting as well. Which other new functions they planning?
They will add both fingerprint and face ID unlock feature. That would be better imo, aside from extra security, it will consume lesser time to log in (advantage to those who have long passwords).

If you really want to know all the upcoming changes/new features, please take some time to read their article. The link was provided above.

Actually po meron po akong nilagay, hindi lang po ako sigurado Kung nakikita ng mga taong nag babasa ng thread ko. Grin
At sa aking palagay ay hindi rin po ninyo nakita? Smiley
Actually, I saw it. Cheesy It's just that some people would prefer to use the direct official site(s). So it's either of the 2:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox

Though I am not using both Firefox and Metamask, I thought that it will be helpful for those who access MEW on mobile, so... you're welcome!
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help needed. WIF private key on: September 18, 2018, 11:53:02 PM
Install Electrum, safe your backup seed words, and sweep the private key.
More information: [overview] Recover Bitcoin from any old storage format
Didn't find Seed phrase from blockchain (or you meant Electrum new seed phrase). Got only WIF. Is it possible to restore only with WIF?
He mean Electrum new seed phrase because you'll be creating a new wallet there and sweep your private key (WIF). Yes it's possible.
This tutorial might be helpful to you : Sweeping your private keys into Electrum
458  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Tutorial on how to install metamask on mobile phone. on: September 18, 2018, 11:22:10 PM
I suggest you to just use Mozilla's link in your main post: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
If they will open the link on their mobile browser, they'll just click download and it will automatically be directed to Play store or App store.

But I am not sure if it is the real browser extension installed in a desktop or google. Huh
As long as you installed the official/legit Firefox app, you'll get the same extension that you use in desktop, however, on a smaller screen.
459  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How can we promote our 5-year-old exchange? on: September 18, 2018, 08:21:57 PM
@kate.poisonglen stated the general ways. To add, here's how you can advertise in Bitcointalk:

1. Make an Announcement Thread about your Exchange - since your account is a newbie, it would be better if you'll upgrade to a Copper Member to be able to post images. Read more at Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images
2. Advertise on this forum via ad space - there's an ongoing auction now, check the details at Advertise on this forum - Round 255
3. Signature and Social Media Campaigns - they have mentioned it above. I just want to add that you should hire a trusted campaign manager for this, not really necessary but recommended (check List of Campaign Managers)
  • Signature - Participants will be wearing a signature representing your exchange and it will be exposed in the forum every time the participants make a post (for ex. mine, I was wearing a BQT signature below)
  • Social Media - Participants will like, follow, talk about your service on Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites

Not sure if this is considered as begging, but I'll quote it for reference. Now I'm sure, since you posted again (3 posts in a row). Please ask yourself first, did I ever have a worthy post in Bitcointalk to deserve even a single Merit?

Don't ask/beg people to give it to you, show them that you deserve it (I hope you get what I mean - see what theymos said in the quote below). So if you want to stay here, challenge yourself, 1 Merit is not that hard to get.

But if you're incapable of posting anything worthwhile, then you will never rank up, and you shouldn't: this isn't the forum for you.
