441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum could break $1000 as well? on: September 07, 2017, 03:50:07 AM
What's your opinion, will Ethereum reach $1000 some day?

A big, yes! Of course it will happen one day in the future. But then it will not happen this year I think. Well, I hope it happens. That will be good for trading as well as for the value of coins which is Etherium-based that are not even traded. I am a bit positive though that the value of Etherium will double within the year.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I get free Waves and Eth? on: September 07, 2017, 03:15:38 AM
Iam new to this campaigns and wallet and my first wallet is Waves wallet and this wallet contains fee I want to know what website I should go to? to get free waves I dont care if its small but its good if I could get the required fee for the wallet.

About ether wallet I don't still get it if it has fee so I want to ask if where can I get free Eth?

To be honest, most faucets are so small that even getting the typical .001 Waves fee will take some time.  It's not impossible, but it may take 20-30 pulls from the faucet to get it cleared.  Probably better off just dropping a small amount of bitcoin into your wallet.

Its true that it takes a lot of time to get 0.001 waves.  But if you really want free waves,  you just have to try hard and visit every hour,  for wavesgo and wavesdrop anyway its free,  you only need a bit of your time. For me,  I got. 01200 waves by just visiting at least 5 times a day when I just a newbie.

Is this really worth it? I think this is just kind of a waste of time. Faucets, after all, are more often than not just taking our time off and receive very little amounts in return. Faucets are more attractive to newbies and beginners but once they got the hang of how the crypto works they will leave them. You better invest a little as a start so that you will have waves. That would take no hassle from you.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of NEO? on: September 07, 2017, 02:53:49 AM
There will be a negative result for the issue of china banning ICOs to NEO. For sure the value will significantly go down. Aside from the ICO ban the government is also targetting the exchanges. This would give another solid blow to the price of NEO. This will prove very hard to overcome since NEO is backed by chinese people.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: September 07, 2017, 02:32:09 AM
I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.

How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?

I try to invest using etherium thru ethtrade.org but was scammed but still I think Etherium will follow the path of Bitcoin but it will not surpass the value  rather it maybe just equall the value because no matter how many etherium that we keep still we will trade it to bitcoin for an easy cash out. So i say it good to invest in etherium too because of the promising value trend as secondary to bitcoin.

Etherium will not surpass the value of Bitcoin. Neither will it equal the value of Bitcoin. That is the reality and we just have to do with that. There is no need to try to overtake the performance of Bitcoin because bitcoin is already very high and very fast. We will just accept Etherium as it is and not as a competitor to Bitcoin.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many coins do you hold ? on: September 07, 2017, 02:07:26 AM

I am not sure this is a god strategy, I have 5-6 coins, and try not to keep more than that as it becomes impossible to keep following the coin's news.

Is holding up to 5-6 coins only too risky ?

how many do you hold and what is your rationale for that number ?

6 to 10 coins are even reasonable. Considering that coins in trading are very volatile. Sometimes they shoot up, sometimes they dive also. Before you start positioning, things have already happened. So there is a need to diversify your portfolio. Be careful to monitor their movements also. If an All Time High is already broken, you better sell.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO banned, the impact on the world? on: September 06, 2017, 02:45:08 AM
Now that all countries are monitoring and banning ICO, what impact will it have on the encrypted money market?
Welcome everybody light view

Wow! This is way too exaggerated, dude! You can put it in a more proper and truthful way next time. I don't understand people like you are starting some threads here with a little or no knowledge at all of what is really happening. All countries banning ICO? Come on! Check some news, real news, and not just coming from people like you and some FUD-spreading f*cks!
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't get it. on: September 06, 2017, 02:09:35 AM
The government of china is afraid and wants extra money. China will eventually unban ICO with pressure from outside, and ICO can continue.

Pressure from outside? Who can force China to do something?

Guys, you are talking about a giant country that has biggest hash power in mining, big exchanges, and many other things. You know Jihan? He's kind of a government representative. If you think Chinese government does not understand crypto world, then afraid of it, you couldn't be more wrong.

China has banned lots of crypto activity in the past and yet the Chinese people continue to be major consumers of the blockchain. Can't stop progress!

Anyone remember in 2013 when they banned banks from dealing in crypto?

http://money.cnn.com/2013/12/05/investing/china-bitcoin/index.html

That is why this reaction that can be felt and seen with all the red paint all over the trading exchanges is very temporary. This will all be a thing of the past in the next couple of days perhaps. The government cannot monitor every movement of its every citizen especially that the world is fast becoming a single community with the internet. ICOs are still available to the chinese from outside china.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs with a referral system = red flag? on: September 05, 2017, 02:59:33 AM
I personally don't like referral system. This is for me a serious red flag. Referrals is not really a clean strategy, well at least it generates something dirty actually. Networking and ponzi schemes are what come to my mind when this referral thing is taken on topic. ICOs in its form right now is much better off without referral systems.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is no more ICO's on: September 05, 2017, 02:32:18 AM
what will be the future of ICO's based on China's ban?

There will be no future for ICOs in china. Lucky were those that launched their ICOs earlier and got success with the help of investors. With the new policy implemented right now, there will no more ICOs in china. The country's pretty strict when it comes to laws, so I think no risk takers will be doing some underground or illegal ICOs.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on Korecoin on: September 04, 2017, 04:03:55 AM
This coin really looks like it has potential. It had a 23 BTC buy wall a few minutes ago but now it was pulled. (But price has jumped 15% or so in last hour)

This is a relatively old coin already, this KoreCoin. A pump and dump may be for some people but the team behind is not that old to make progress to this coin. The efforts are reflecting on the value of this coin. Updates are being made. As a matter of fact, the past week saw KoreCoin as one of the biggest gainers in terms of percentage in Bittrex.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 04, 2017, 03:38:55 AM
As EasyMine from my signature extended their ICO until 07 October, I have new favorite ICO for this month. Especially if you are lazy and don't have enough mining knowledge. They have 33 days more to raise funds and are currently at 2700 ETH mark.

Easymine is one of the top ICO this September, at least according to a source which has their own ways and requirements in vetting top ICOs. Congratulations to the entire team. Another one would be Atlant. The pre-ICO is already making more than a million dollars. The ICO will start on the 7th of September. Aventus is also making so much ringing here. Must be good also.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 29, 2017, 10:06:06 AM
This campaign looks really promising specially because it catches the eye of the men investors and  great strategy to attract or to gather supporters. As we all know if we read the whole whitepaper this project is all about porn site including adult contents that can be presented through pictures and videos etc.

This campaign has been a total hit. Most of the investors see the potential of it and the flexibility it offers.

Totally agreed Wink investing in this kind of project is a really good decision as we all know that everyone has their own sexual fantasies  Grin Grin congratulation for having a good run of their ICO

Actually we not expected that this campaign has been total hit, but now they are already popular in the social media so thats why some of the people investing in here.
Actually if you are going to ask me about this project, I will say that these kind of projects are most likely to suceed beacuse of the advertisement in some social media and also an advertisement here at this forum.
We should not only focus on the advertisement, instead we should look on the people behind this project.
As I am done with my research I believe the team behind are trustworthy and goal oriented people.

You're right as I look on their profile the team management of the XPlay are expert in terms of entertainment and known for what they've done on their previous work. I'm really looking forward how they will interact after the ICO
They gain the trust of the investors although they are not so popular here in the community.
Product is good as I know investors would not risk their money when there is no potential of ROI in the shortest period of time possible.

I am looking at the side of tokens being used in the ecosystem and not just as a form of investment. XPLAY tokens will be used in the entertainment themselves, in the access of some videos they are offering. ROI is more or less a matter of investment, but purchasing XPLAY tokens for the sake of getting into the entertainment offered by the site is a form of pure entertainment really.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 28, 2017, 04:26:37 PM
I'm curious about the age limit who can use or view Xplay. It says it's an adult entertainment, so it's restricted below 18 year old?

it is not their problem anymore. its called "good parenting". i used to access porn site when i was underage and it doest affect   my personality and i think that taught me to be more creative and enhances my problem solving.

Apparently, minors can access any site as of today. I think they should have a better way of validating age of user for better security and avoid phishing. Since minors and kids can almost easily borrow their parents credit card and ID's.

The modern world is becoming more and more open to young ones in terms of adult industry entertainment. At first, well, until now basically, I frown when I see some young children looking at nude pictures, even worse when I see them in access to porn sites. But I guess the too open accessibility gives more responsibility to parents as well as teachers. They should be more strict at least to those who are too young for these stuff.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 27, 2017, 03:45:00 AM
I think your tread is too simple for a slightly complicated concept, and I think it's a bit ambitious, it's a big project, for tokenized ecosystem projects it takes a lot of detail, I hope you guys have a good plan for this project

"a bit ambitious, it's a big project" yet the team prove them wrong. They've already reached it in no time.

The thread is really not conclusive as to the fate of a project or an ICO. That is just a single aspect of so wide a horizon of ICO or project promotion strategies. But I myself was not convinced looking at the thread. Congratulations, anyway! That was a very successful ICO!
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 26, 2017, 12:37:55 AM
WOW WOW WOW... i was just scrolling in FB and watching some hotnews and new trends .. but loook what i saw !! its XPLAY !! this is really amazing those advertisement that i allways see on anysite specially in social media + the fact that the SOLD OUT thing of the coins ? and how the men are eager to have  an account for those adult entertaining site ?? THIS IS CALLED SUCCESS!! and i am wishing XPLAY for more one.. investment on this is really a good opportunity and never will be wasted!! moore power XPLAY

I saw them on social media sites too, was about to comment on this but saw your post. That only means to show that they really are serious with this project and surely a lot of investors would be interested in this project too.

The people that compose the XPLAY team is really active. My hats are off to these people. I have stumbled upon their ads and promotions on Facebook as well as on Twitter. They are doing perfect in attracting people to grow curious and take a second to look at their project.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] XPLAY - A global extreme entertainment technology and tokenized ecosystem on: August 25, 2017, 01:16:09 AM
What he/she meant about boring is the look of the ANN thread, it looks dull at first because it does not have like pictures or anything like that at the first page like those other projects you see in this forum but when you look at project itself it is kind of interesting on what it offers.

I agree, although it is not really the main point here since substance should be more important than the mere form. However, a creative and brilliant developer could have added some more colors. I also noticed the same in the whitepaper. It looks like a high school essay project.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: True Flip. Blockchain Lottery Bounty Campaign (FB, TW, signature etc) on: August 22, 2017, 03:43:16 PM
Submitted completed form already! Thanks!
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 19, 2017, 05:43:06 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

There is always risk in investment. Even your money sleeping in the bank has some risks involved. But as to holding bitcoin, there is really a very small risks involved. So overall it is all right to buy and hold for long term profit goal. As to price decreases, these are expected and things like these will happen because BTC is volatile, but take comfort in the fact that there is more upward movements than downward.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any Suggestions on Demo Trading Sites? on: August 18, 2017, 11:15:07 PM
I guess hitbtc offers such service.I never tried before but you can check it out if you have time.

https://demo.hitbtc.com/exchange

Yes, hitbtc has a demo site for trading cryptocurrencies. You can explore it there. Just a point though, hitbtc got a red trust from bitcointalk I guess way back then. I don't know how they got it.

If you want, it is not hard to practice crypto trading even in the real exchange platforms. It is not like in forex where you can easily burn money. In crypto trading, you can simply observe and then jump into it with a small amount just for practice.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: August 18, 2017, 03:35:32 AM
Different countries have different rules and levels of openness to new stuff especially one that involves the monetary and banking systems. I think the primary reason why countries are hard on accepting bitcoin has something to do with its features such as decentralization and anonymity.
