Yes I do understand that ETH cannot reach the value of bitcoin at the moment but in future I am sure it can achieve it because nowadays people are looking for the crypto competency which gives them more feature and benefit instead of checking which was the first crypto currency there are many altcoins cooking up with some excellent feature which bitcoin still lacks hence I feel that ETH can reach the level of bitcoin

It is not a bad move for long term holders I would say long term holders should not be concerned about these kind of pump and dump because it is normal in crypto world and even they know about this so to be honest the only losers will be those newbie who end up panic selling at the lesser price.

It's usual that there is a price dump at the end of every year and it struggles till first quarter of next year and as you have rightly said the price will start shooting up after February and the reason we could not achieve $20000 is because of the negative impact of panic selling as it's creating more supply and dump has halted the demand as a result value of bitcoin throttle down even more but in couple of months it will be normal and the landmark of $20000 is achievable by the end of 2018

Yes this is the right time to invest into bitcoin or wait till first week of new year when the bitcoin price tends to go down every year only to be increased again from March so I don't think bitcoin will crash it's just an usual thing which happens every year but the only thing which is making us panic is nothing but the transaction fees which have reached sky high now but I think it will be back to normal after 29th of December

Yes ICO will play a vital role and it's the best opportunity for those who did not invest in bitcoin when it's worth were like peanuts but we need to choose the right ICO as everyday there are new ICO which is bitcoin confusing as every ICO has a very attractive roadmap and catchy website but we need to look if it is realistic or just a scam as I have been part of some ICO in past which turned out to be scam or just shut down in few weeks but I would choose the following ICO which I personally feels as bet now.

This has been the case for some years I do believe bitcoin will raise next year but at the same time this period has been entirely different as bitcoin is been targeted by multiple countries as they feel the growing market of bitcoin might tempt their citizens to use bitcoin instead of Fiat but let's see as bitcoin has always overcome the hurdles I think this will not be new

Last week of December till the begiNing of second quarter of following year has always been a dark time for bitcoin if you check the history every years it's the same process but once the bitcoin gains back the lost value which usually happens around second quarter of the year it breaks all the old records and sets a new benchmark and let's hope for something similar this year as there is a lot going on with bitcoin nowadays

Ripple is indeed the future of digital currency as it has tie up with multiple banks which makes it more worthy as it will be accepted by banks in future and there might be less regulatory risk over ripple and I myself has personally traded Litecoin to buy ripple thinking about the long term benefits but Litecoin was really beneficial I bought it at a very lesser price but thought of buying couple of hundred ripple fn exchange and storing it for say like 2 years then sell a part of it and reinvest in similar alts.

Yes we should always check about the coins in supple.and market cap a well and based on all these factors I would always suggest to go for Ripple XRP because they have been on top ten ranking from so many months still the value of coin is much lesser than what it has to be and hopefully will be increasing by next year and also I am looking out at other ICO as well because there are some potential projects which will be a huge success

Well I believe it was never a smart thing to invest all your asset and dump in one place rather invest wisely into different domain and there are some people.who has just invested into bitcoin when the value was less and got a huge return but now looking at the price it will not be a smart idea to invest like crazy rather we can go for altcoins as they are growing

As the year 2018 has been speculates to be the year of altcoins will it be better to invest into bitcoin or altcoins ? Which one will give more return in both short term as well as long term ? I am bit puzzled whether to go for well established bitcoin , Litecoin, ethreum or Ripple, Dodge coin, Dash.

Yes it might take a good 4 to 5 years to reach anywhere near that figure if things go well and if we form a strong bitcoin community who can work for betterment of bitcoin and help us in creating strategy to defend bitcoin from regulator's wrath and to over come other challenges like transaction time, implementing smart contacts , having some new technologies to outstanding other altcoins as well.

I feel $25k can be achieved after new year as of now the transactions and movement of bitcoin in the market is really high but it might be stalled for a week or two because people will be busy with their vacations and also there might be a huge price pump.followed by a temporary dump which is traditional from few years.

If we look at this situation from a broader prospectus it will workout for betterment of bitcoin if government start taking bitcoin then government will also gain profit from that and there is no way government will try to ban or stop bitcoin once it starts gaining profit from bitcoin but the normal users will be affected little bitcoin.

As far as scammers are concerned we can avoid it easily if we are a long time user of bitcoin as we can analyze a bounty campaign to it is gonna work or not and it's always better to go for a ICO which has better plan and road map rather than percentage or the amount of stakes which they offer as it will be of no use if the campaign disappears and the ICO turns out to be a scam

May be due to the festive season as most of users are busy preparing for Christmas and new year holiday and the bitcoin transactions during these days are also less so I think it might not be possible to reach $25k mark by year end but that can be achieved by next year after a slight dump which has been routine from few years.
