Yeah as all here is saying, it depends on your fiancial needs. Also an individual preference.
Not to go some technical, if I have that amount of btc I think it's not enough for me to spend a lot of them. I'll save the 2btc and withdraw the remaining for my financial needs. Buy the things that I wanted, travel a little ( to spoil myself ) and a treat for my family. I think that's well spent.
Hold your btc as long as you don't need them as a fiat.

Which one suits you the most?
As a filipino Coins.ph is the best wallet for us. Because we can convert our bitcoin into fiat and withdraw it in any bank. I trusted it also because if there something happen wrong in your wallet you can report it and they fixed it immediately. You're just using one wallet to store all your btc? Better install also an offline wallet for your huge amount or it can also acts as a savings account. Try electrum, it's also an on the go wallet I think because you can also install it on your mobile phone. It's safer because this is offline, nobody can hack your account. |

Probably not today, but hey this is cryptocurrency everything is possible. Maybe we will see $3000 by the end of the year. That is very realistic. We'll see when the market decides to bounce back after yet another bloody red day.
Yeah and probably not this week. The rate in last few days are declining and some investors took that in positive way. A chance to buy btc in low price. Hope after this hell week there's an immediate rise. Can't wait to happen that. |

Even if that bitcoin savings account exist, I will not go with it. Like I'll never entrust my bitcoin to that. Whoever knows what will possibly happen. I'll just trade my btc, and that's a good shot. |

What if Governments Shutdown the Internet?  Governments in plural never work together and agree on the same thing. How do you imagine countries that don't like each other like Japan and China would go about it? If China decided to ban the Internet, Japan would say "citizens of China, buy cheap wireless internet from us!" If a country like the USA banned the Internet they'd have riots in every city. People would stop working and block the streets. There would be total chaos and anarchy. Yes I agree on this. Like this is absolutely absurd. Even in communist country never shut their internet. Internet nowadays is like food in everyone. Everything and every where needs internet. |

For bitcoin, you still need to improve the speed of operations and make it possible to use it anywhere in the world. While it will be only an additional currency.
Yes I agree on this. Bitcoin will not be as a currency of the future rather an additional currency only. Fiat can't be replace of any crypto currency, whatever will happen nor whatever it takes. However, bitcoin will always be the future as long as many people patronize it, merchants still using it and I don't see any reason that btc will die in the future. |

Hi everyone,
I have recently sold a large part of my BTC portfolio as I was spooked by a various sources telling me that BTC was heading for plummeting prices following 1st Aug and hard fork. They have also said that July will be incredibly unstable in terms of price as we approach the deadline. I a now sitting on cash and waiting for the best time t go back into BTC
Given that the price of BTC has risen every day this week and feeling that I sold unnecessarily and am considering buying back in. can you feedback to me.
1) Is the 1st Aug really going to be that bad and should we expect volatility in July as we approach the date?
2) Would you buy back in now or wait sitting on cash for a better price entry point in the coming weeks?

I think you're did something base on what you've just read or heard. Im sorry to say but you dont have your own decision in everything that you did. You do as what they told.  Well if I were you I just hold my btc and see what will happen in the market and I'll buy back my btc. And you have few months left brother, its not yet late. |

Whenever it's true or not , if we see current value and trend , bitcoin will increase on next 6 month no matter what will happen,
I will keep my bits as long as possible since I'm not very good for trading / gambling
Indeed. I also not into trading or gambling. This is also my way of how to double your btc. Just store in my wallet, and yeah it doesn't harm my btc at all. I also like it on a ling term investment. There's always pump and dump every now and then and so I think my btc will move somehow. |

Just so you guys know USAF is cancelled. Miners finally realised that this would be risky to let USAF happen.
This is why all major mining pool started to signalise SegWitx2 yesterday, currently, we have more than 80% hash support for this proposal.
Everything should be fine in hopefully August 1 we would have upgraded chain with SegWit running on it - and withing next 6 months hard fork 2MB will be activated.
Oh if this true this is good news. All the worries will be gone. Its time for the upgrade of chain. Thanks for this. Oh just one thing, is this in what article? Whats the link, I wanna read it. |

from cryptonews yesterday I find out that there is going to be activation of segwit2x in bitcoin to allow faster transaction and this is agreed by okcoin,bitmain and huobi, what do you think will happen to price of bitcoin?
since it has the majority of miners (hash power) support and also majority of users (full nodes) are supporting SegWit if we don't get any drama and shenanigans i think we are looking at a smooth fork with nothing to worry about specially since the hash power behind the fork will be >95% of total. and without drama price will just continue to rise specially since we have had the good correction recently. Well i hope this is true and will happen on august 01. Actually it bothers me a lot when if block chain will be split into two. That will be a problem to us and the worst is we could lose some of our funds. Maybe after august 02 bitcoin price will drop. And that's a sure thing. |

If im in need desperate of money ill double my hard work. I will make the evening like morning just to double my profit. I wouldn't do such crazy things just to make a living even im in desperate need. Just in simple things you can solve your problem without doing anything pathetic. |

USD falling won't have affect on bitcoin because the working of both are really different. Bitcoin is decentralised which means price is controlled by the people. While for usd is totally controlled by the government and falling of the currency wouldn't affect the government at all but only the people as things will get more expensive.
Yes you're right brother. Its far different from digital to real currency. But on the contrary on that, If USD falls bitcoin will increase it value that the effect. But in third world country the value of bitcoin become scrubby if USD fall. The bad thing of USD falling is the economy have an effect in different country trading USD.
This is somehow correct, maybe there will no effect in the first world country, but in the third world country there is. Like what if usd falls the exchange rate of btc (in local currency)will also falls, so there will be an effect to bitcoin enthusiasts. Hope i get myself clear. |

Just heard it from my brother. He's only a college student while im working with a regular job. I wonder where he gets his money. I saw him buying some gadgets every now and then. He told me that he's doing bitcoin but i just shrug it off coz' im not interested. And now here i am joining signature campaigns and earning. I wish I start a lil bit earlier.

I almost stop trading when i lost 70% of my investment. But that's how it works. Lost focus and your done.
i feel you brother like right now im losing almost my 60% investment. I work hard to earn that money but in a small period of time almost all are gone. I wanna quit trading but im hoping that one day I will recover it. Thus, i dont want to end as poor as a rat. Like just one wrong move all your hard works are gone. As they say traders are not quitters. So better keep going. |

if you wan't a sure win it is best recommended to hold it long term , btc market had been recovered for the last 2 years.
And even there are a lot of people that are saying bitcoin is completely dead and has died for so many times. Bitcoin is keep on growing with a lot of factors that investors are liking it more. We are in the right path if you will hold your bitcoins and if you want to secure yourself for better. Just sell it when you need at the right price. right now selling is not good because in the future the price of it will increase to a more high level. Better will be that if we hold for a more longer period. maybe do you forget the possible and incoming FORK??? i don't know it it will be an hard or soft fork... and less i know what will happen to the price... but all will be possible Incoming fork will be soft. And yeah, the price have a sudden change. But as far as i know, by june 30, india will be legalizing bitcoin so we better expect a pump. So friendly reminder, hold your bitcoin and don't sell it if it's not necessary. You're welcome. |

I just wait the right time before I sell it, because I looking forward that in the future value of bitcoin were continues raising up. However, I was not sure how long bitcoin price remain in to high amount.
That's a good choose, you choose to wait than you sell it now even though the price rise but you are not panic to sell it maybe you have same like me believe it if in the future bitcoin price would be higher than the current price. Many people are ready to wait. There are many news that give us hope that the price of bitcoin will soon be much higher. I'm ready to save now, to buy a few more coins for the future That's totally agreeable. Im one of those people who are willing to wait for the sky rocket of btc. I save mine so if its time to sell I will sell the half of it and make a profit. Then save again and repeat. Don't be in a rush if its not necessary. |
