I didn't know that.  Embarrassed
Hm, probably newbies and junior members don't have that button yet. Anyway, for every 2 merits you receive you should get 1 spendable merit so probably then you will see that button. Anyway, read thread I posted above, maybe someone explained it there and I missed it and if no one reply you here ask question there Undecided

4403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Eidoo wallet for ethereum and ERC20 token on: January 28, 2018, 07:05:01 PM
Im thinking of trying this eidoo wallet, but before that I want to get some info because of fear that it might be scam.
Dude, if you think it is scam you shouldn't even think to store your funds in there.
Do you have any recommendation for eth wallet at the same time support erc20 token?
I don't think you need to search further than this:

https://www.myetherwallet.com + metamask extension.

Or hardware wallets ledger nano s or trezor.
4404  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: January 28, 2018, 02:15:06 PM
It is time that crypto user should switch to decentralised exchanges,it is also true there is no such technology that can not be hacked but decentralised nature can minimise the chances by avoiding loop hole in tech.nowdays, hackers are targeting crypto other than other services so it high time to switch to decentralised and better tech.
Etherdelta has been hacked recently which is decentralized exchange.
Don't ever store your cryptocurrency on exchanges it can be hacked or closed any time. Always store it on your wallets. Move your coins from wallet to exchange when you are going to trade. Once your trading finished move your coins back to wallet.
I am sure someone lost money like that already. Sending funds to exchange and exchange got hacked. Chance for that to happen is slim, but still, there is a chance.

4406  Economy / Gambling / Re: Mooncoin Gambling Website? on: January 28, 2018, 01:41:20 PM
Does  we have any website where we can do gambling for Mooncoin?
I never heard of one. What did google say?
or any currency which has value approximately 1 or 2 satoshi.?
Coins with 1 satoshi value are usually dead coins, probably the reason why casinos are accepting only "popular" coins.
I have never encountered a gambling website that accepts Mooncoin. If I were on your shoes I will  just trade it to another coin then use it to gamble or invest, that is assuming you can trade it.
Why assuming? Coin is listed on bleutrade so you can trade it.
4407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 28, 2018, 12:19:55 PM
Gamble without money isn't fun, and if we can get money in gambling we'll more fun although we shouldn't just use a little amount amount to gamble and if we lose there we'll not be regret. May be thats why i use little money to gamble.
Gambling small amounts which you can afford to lose means you are responsible gambler. Also gambling small amounts doesn't mean you are playing for fun.
My friend is betting every single day small amounts which he can afford to lose and he said he is doing it only for fun, to "follow scores" he said (if that is right word). I asked him can't you watch scores without betting and he didn't know what to answer.
Besides, if money isn't involved it is playing, not gambling, so what is your point anyway  Roll Eyes

Many people playing gambling for the intention of making money so they are risking the real money to make more money[1].I am not a big gambler I will only do less often and with very less bets,I can't afford too much money for gambling or fun purpose. But many people can afford to lose real money for fun[2] so they are playing with real moeny.
What is real money anyway? Someone who is billionaire can afford to lose $100K and from your post I made conclusion that this is real money, does it mean he is gambling to make more money(because this is real money)[1] or for fun(because this is money he can afford to lose)[2]?
Quote
I can't afford too much money for gambling or fun purpose
Does it mean you are gambling to win money?

Everyone has their own reasons why they are gambling and I think if this doesn't hurt us in any way, we should let them be and just respect their reasons. I personally gamble in casino using fiat and even gamble online and it is only for fun and not because of earning money. I have limitations to myself and doesn't come to the point where I have a debt due to playing, and I thinks most people who play have the same reason and perspective over gambling as mine.
So, everyone is gambling for fun and no one here is gambling because there is chance to win money? Is that what you are trying to say?

Let's be honest around here, there are a lot of people who are saying this and there are a lot of people who are like this. They wanted to have fun even though they are losing money. Those people are most likely whales around here.
Ok, lets be honest.
I am not whale and I like to chase jackpots and I usually play games with high payouts. I do it because I want to win money and it is fun to win but it is not to lose. Thrill and excitement are all the way, but that is not my reason. I also buy lottery ticket once per month but there isn's any excitement or thrill in that because I check numbers few days latter. So your "whale" point is wrong.
I like to watch the matches which I'm interested in more excitement and that excitement you can get when you bet a small amount on those matches. If you play with free money you will not get the same excitement at least for me so I usually bet with a small amount. That doesn't mean that I'm playing for money but somehow it gives more thrill to watch the complete match. Also, I will not do it every day but do it when I got a free time to watch the match.
Do you place money on team which has some sort of advantage or on the team you are cheering for?
For example, you are West Ham's fan and they are playing against Manchester United(which is playing home). Would you place bet on West Ham?

Most people
What about you?

Sometimes an interest promotion make me want to deposit real money especially when many people are made a massive profit from that promo.
It's reasonable since human are basically is a greed creature and bitcoin + gambling is the way to make people drive crazy !
I like this.

how many different coins i will buy for trading?
I don't think anyone here has telepathic abilities to know how many coins will you buy.
is it good to buy and sell 1-6 different coins or just stick to 1 kind of coin?
If you buy and sell 1-6 different coins you won't have any but it is wise to spread funds and buy many coins Wink
what coin and what was the best coin that i can be hold for a long time that give me good profit. can i have your suggestion

According to this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0 you are wrong  Tongue but I agree on every word you said.

I guess it's more fun to get an interaction between two or more players because you will see the excitements and the cheering of your friends and the crowds.
Who is cheering for online gamblers? Undecided
The feeling of winning is somehow indefinable yet you are losing because you don't want to stop but if you are so lucky enough you can bring your winnings while you can give some tips or give away to your friends.
If you are gambling only for fun final result shouldn't bother you at all, winning or losing, your feeling should remain the same as long as you are having fun. Don't you think your thoughts are too deep for someone who is gambling only for fun?

I am including the person, why? because there is a certain satisfaction even though we spend a lot of money, and most importantly we can have fun with it
Can you say "I feel satisfaction when I lose lots of money in gambling because I am losing lots of money for fun"? Probably you can't because it will be wrong. That's why you used "we" instead of "I".  Roll Eyes

Also another thing is that when you go in physical casino their is no other option available where you would have to give the money and get tokens only to play any of the games. You can enjoy with your friends, have a snacks or beverages which they give for free in some casinos
You actually can sit in casino, have a drink, chit-chat with your friends and leave casino without gambling at all. So, why do you need to gamble? Your friends are not funny or something? Undecided
play for fun and if you win good else you forget the loss as you are not additive and do not want to play just to win money from it.
I don't understand addiction part. Whoever plays for money = addict?  Undecided

People gamble just to have fun and used fiat money also to make some profit of course which make them more happy.
You can't say "just for fun" and after that "also to make profit"  Roll Eyes
Gambling is a game of risk, because you are risking the money just to be happy for that day
You can't call it risk if you are paying for entertainment, right?
Imagine saying - I am risking my money to go to cinema, which is sort of entertainment.
4411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 27, 2018, 06:28:50 PM
There is only a thrill in gambling when you have a chance to lose.
It is not actually the winning that drives the gambling, it is the excitement that you get from the chance of winning and losing when gambling.
If you play for play money, there will be little excitement.
I agree that there is no thrill if you can't lose money but I also think there is better ways for thrill and fun and that's why I don't buy whole "i gamble for fun" reason.
Beside, whoever entered casino for first time in his life didn't do it because of thrill, he entered casino because someone bragged with big win or something. No one remembers thrill and loses next day and everyone remembers only how much money they've won.

I used to play poker with my friends and I can tell you that the difference between playing without money and playing with just a little bit (like 1 € or 1 $) is huge. When we were playing with just chips nobody cared a lot about the result and were going all in pretty loose. Then, we started playing Sit and Goes with just 1 € (plus 1 rebuy) and people were playing tighter and they were more thrilled, even though 1 € is nothing for us.
People play different when they want to win money no matter how small amount is. They care about their money and they want to win money, otherwise you and your friends would have go all in - after all it is very small amount, right? Correct me if I am wrong. Smiley
Money brings fun factor to gambling, without money it can't be called gambling,I agree on that but I don't agree that people are gambling only for fun and not to win money.
Simply because when you play with real money you are gambling, and when you are playing without real money you are just playing... The excitement feeling is different, your imagination doesn't go ahead. Even if you gamble for fun, your imagination creates different possibilities, like winning some nice amount of money. It "plays" with our brain, our emotional. Without money makes no sense, losing, winning... Both will result in nothing.

Gamblers play to feel satisfaction in the end, without money they won't feel anything...
I don't see any logic in playing game which purpose is only to win or lose money and saying that you are not doing it for money. After all, many people are using dicebots and scripts to play, so tell me, where is fun in that if everyone plays for fun?
4412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 27, 2018, 04:02:30 PM
most of the gambler's really have enough money
This is wrong assumption, most of gamblers don't have enough money.
for us money is secondary, fun is primary, most of the gambler's really have enough money, but we lack the thrill, the fun in real life and that is then made up by gambling the thrill when it's going red to green and suddenly you win, that's the kind of excitement and fun that most of the people here or your life will tell you.
I don't understand this:

Money is secondary, fun is primary - but thrill is when you win money - which you said you have enough of. It is contradiction because you said money isn't important and than you said it is thrill to win money = gambling to win money?
4413  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: January 27, 2018, 02:40:39 PM
How do you know that this isn't inside job?
In my opinion if hacker steal money from exchange it is not your problem and they have to pay back whatever users lost.
So how can we ensure that our money is safe on exchanges?
Your money is safe only in your wallet and if you are trader you agree with risk that you might lose your funds. Remember that.
What I meant is do the trade and withdraw instantly. Exchanges were created for trading and not for holding your funds. Unless you are day trading, I see no reason on why you should keep your money on an exchange for a anything more then a few minutes. Trading with individuals on forums etc. is another option to avoid using centralized exchange.
What about people who are using bots? They can't really stay off exchanges.
Trading on forum also has certain risk, less options, less traders and lots fees, right? Pay fees, pay escrow, what if escrow runs away with money? Or dies? I am not saying it will, but lets look at all possibilities.
hack is not a good way for you to get the funds. this is one way to destroy your wallet ..
for the security you can exchange and trade token and you can save in your personal wallet this is a safe way to trade.
You should be permanently banned.
4414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 27, 2018, 02:01:48 PM
I always wonder why do people say "I am gambling for fun and not for the money".
Why do you use money at all to gamble? There are plenty gambling sites in which you can easily play with fun money, play money or "whatever it is called" money. Why do you use money to gamble for fun? *
I don't really understand this whole "gambling for fun and entertainment" idea and not "gambling to win money".
Whoever is gambling for fun using real money please reply and be honest.

4416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: January 27, 2018, 12:36:52 PM
Hi, i have a question for my gambler's buddies as i'm perplexed by this. I have a friend who really wishes to gamble, but he is not allowed to because his uncle lost his entire assets and some million's and his grandfather to lost another million or so (they're filthy rich). So due to this facts he is barred from gambling, they believe he'll loose money to, they're stopping him on past incidents and i'm really tired of explaining them they're wrong, what do you'll think, anyone else faces such issues?
I don't see how anyone can stop him for doing what he wants to do if he is 18+, as it is not your family you really should stay out of it.
anyone else faces such issues?
Yes but not in gambling. When two are fighting it is best to step aside Wink
4417  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 27, 2018, 12:18:09 PM
~
But still even wagering 10x wont prevent you from being noticed that you are using to launder some coin so it is better to let user pay their own withdrawal fee without using any wagering requirement
How is that? You can't launder money with such high wagering requirement. You can't wager it on dice rolling on 1.02 or whatever minimal bet is and you can't place bets both on red and black in roulette.
Besides, fortunejack has 2X wagering requirement while some big fiat casinos or poker sites have 1X wagering requirement. I guess they can lower it to 1X.

I'm sorry if my comments seem to come over a bit hard, and I can understand that you want to encourage good newcomers. What I am saying is that the Merit system is for the future, and not for the past. Lets encourage members to make new valuable posts, rather than reward them for past posts that have been buried.
Speaking of brand new valuable posts, was busy reporting this post https://archive.fo/BA8Mu with 2 merit to moderator for plagiarism. Grin
I am not rewarding anyone, I am just sharing little merit I have to users missed(or not missed but not enough merit) by everyone but have decent/honest/constructive/not spam posts. I sent earlier today 5 merit to newbie because he has found bounty abuser.

Posted Today at 09:29:29 PM, merit sent Today at 09:30:12 PM: 4 to long8899 for Re: Anti-spam Merit Giveaway

There is no possible way for Durr_1412 to read whole topic, read long8899's post and send him merit in only 43 seconds unless...

If you look at post history of both accounts you will see that both users have identical writing style, both of them sent merit to each other and both are in the same signature campaign.

But don't listen to my weird logic and jumping to conclusions.
