4401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 03, 2020, 10:23:10 PM
Probably yes, I am still believing in bitcoin,I know that someday it will bounce back again to 10000$, I am just holding it because if I am going to pul it out just like what other have done then for sure I will waste my money, pulling it out is not a good option because the price of the bitcoin is not still that too high, I will waiy for bull run so thr money I invest will make profit.

Actually if bitcoin dumping happens, invedting more cryptocurrency will be a good idea, because this is the thing, invest when low, pull it out when high.
4402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 03, 2020, 10:06:26 AM
Actually it could depends on the gamblers, they will be the one that will decide whether gambling would cause bad or good to him or her.

Gambling would threat for you if you became so addict on it, if you are spending the whole time of you time with this, if you don't have things to do aside of gambling, if it disturb you from doing more productive things. Gambling could be considered as fun only if you can control it, if you can still do some productive things than betting.

Do not make gambling as your everyday doings, make it only as your way of entertainment.
4403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the effect of corona virus on crypto industry?decrease or increase on: April 03, 2020, 09:02:57 AM
Obviously this COVID-19 has a negative effects on the crypto industry, the price of different cryptocurrency goes down when this virus exists in different countries, if you are a person who is always observing the market then for sure you may say that this virus has negative effects on crypto.

But luckily, even the virus is still existing in different countries the price of bitcoin remains to 6,000$ and as of now it reaches 6.9k USD, that is still a big amount of money.
4404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 01, 2020, 09:04:08 PM
Actually I am a person that is not really used in gambling, so even though I will not play a weeks or a month it is still nothing on me. but anyway back to the topic, the longest break I had on not gambling is almost 10 months, this is the time when I am seriously focused on my school works, I am really busy on that time so I did not attempt to play gambling. Well, for me it was good for me because nothing disturb me on my studying. I can focus on what I am doing because gambling is not there.
4405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Ranking Up]: From Senior to Hero Member on: March 31, 2020, 09:28:15 PM
Hello everyone,

I just want to share my crypto journey is this community. I have been here for more than 3 years now, and I just recently promoted from Senior to Hero. Yes, it took me that long as compare to others who have rank up very quickly. But as the saying goes "it's the journey not the destination".

This is what started my journey in this forum: How to Recover Lost Bitcoin.

But another incident in December 2019 made me find my niche here and earned enough merits to rank up. I have a friend who I approached way back but very reluctant to invest on BTC. But that change in 2019 when he finally decided to invest $300 worth on BTC and help him set up everything. So everyday when we had a chance to talk, we will discuss everything about the price and he will ask questions and I will try to answer it the best way I can with my knowledge. Unfortunately, he said he was lured by someone from Facebook that he supposed know and obviously he was scam and lost everything. (I partly blame myself for that.)

So I said to myself that I will have a personal crusade to exposed those scammers and cyber criminals in which ever I can. That's why I said that I find the niche in this community. These are the threads that I created so far that I have gained merit to rank up to Hero status.

[SCAM ALERT] https://capitalbitsinvestments.com/

So my only tip for those who wants to rank up, just find your niche, maybe you are really good at technical discussions, finding scammers, writing guides, -- just share it to the community. Believed me many members here are very appreciative, specially if they see that you really put up a lot of effort sharing your knowledge here.

Lastly, thanks to all merit sources out there, and those who gave trust and confidence in me. I won't mentioned any names, I think you guys know who you are!!! Smiley

Legendary someday???  Cheesy
Congratulation my friend, reaching hero member is really hard because based on my experience, even though I am only a full member, it has been so hard for me to reach this level, it requires experience and knowledge, if you don't have even one of that, you may not level up or you may not reach a higher level.

There are so many hackers in this virtual world, they are so expert of doing things like that, they have learned about it for so many years before they became expert on doing that, thanks for warning us, that is really a big help.
4406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: March 31, 2020, 09:03:27 PM
Actually to be honest, I really don't see bitcoin or other cryptocurrency can be used as way of payment, it is really impossible for me because it will be hard for everyone if the bitcoin will be used in transactions because it has a feature of being volatile, so if the business let the cryptocurrency to be paid in transactions, they will suffer if the market falls down because for sure the price of the cryptocurrency will suffer too.

I only see cryptocurrency as an alternative currency for fiat currency, all we can do for this is just to convert it into fiat currency, so we can use it to buy some goods and stuffs.
4407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hackers started to exploit Zoom apps to spread malware on: March 31, 2020, 09:47:04 AM
This is the best time for the hackerd to make their actions to hack or steal money or account of yours, they are so professionals of doing such things, they have so many knowledge abouy technology, one of the example is about this thread which is the zoom app.

Actually I do not know  that zoom app,  it is new for me,  but based on what OP's says it is hackers way to hack so always be careful when installing a software or even clicking some advertisement. One of my prof shares an information about hackers action when stealing your money and your account, they can use some links and advertisement to do hacking, when you click the ads and you are using a computer or mobile phones, then there would be a spy on your computer which will be used by the hackers to have access on what you are doing on your computer.
4408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 31, 2020, 09:08:47 AM
Well said mate, we are facing a crisis now, which is the COVID-19,  a very strong and dangerous virus to the point that different economy of different countries falls and even the market also falls which resulted of bitcoin dumping, but do not lose hope by that things. We had experienced these things before, bitcoin reaches for about 2000$ before but look,  the bitclin still bounce back and recovered, so I think the bitcoin will rise again, just believe to the bitcoin, do not sell your coins with lower amount.

Just hold it and wait for the bitcoin to rise again. That is the best option that you may do as of this moment.
4409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 29, 2020, 09:31:53 PM
Even bitcoin is so powerful and very helpful, there are still some countries that don't accept it, I don't really know the reason why they don't like it in their land, but I guess it is only because of their trust issues about it, there are some people who don't believe about it, they are think that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is lie, they are not open about it, they are not open of adaptation, but in fact having cryptocurrency in the country is really a good one, this can be a great alternative for fiat currency especially when crisis happens, where most of the people are afraid of going outside because of the virus, then they can use the cryptocurrency to buy some stuffs online.
4410  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to identify fake news on: March 29, 2020, 08:56:24 PM
Well guided to identify fake news.
Nowadays ethics is a small price to pay for fulfilling ones  personal interests.
Ownership patterns, conflict of interest,  are some motivations that generate unethical behaviour in social media users . Even journlists are responsible for spreading fake news .They are also sometime biased.
One should always crosscheck the news which they are confronting daily. Otherwise they will also get influenced by fake news and act biased.
Indeed, there are so many times that ethics can be bought by money, so they change the story just to cover the fault of the person, well that will be only applicable for the lawyers, which is meant for lying and covering the fault of the person, but if we talk about the news report in national tv, fake news won't exist, this is a real trusted associations.
4411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 29, 2020, 12:08:07 PM
The common reason of gamblers why they are playing is because of the money, so they want to win to make money from it. So basically the outcome is more important than the process. But for me process is important thing, those gamble that requires skills and techniques is a good gambling, you may see the process if you will win the game and those games have more chances to win the game compared to those games that only relies on the luck of the person or those gambling that you are only required to wait for the outcome.
4412  Other / Off-topic / How to identify fake news on: March 29, 2020, 11:31:11 AM
Fake news are always existing in different world especially when something happens in our world, there are so many fake news that we may read through the use of social media.

So I will list down all that you may do to identify if it is fake news.

1. Do not believe so easily in the headlines - Make sure that you should read all the information in the articles because there are some headlines that is considered as clickbait or those that can hook up your attention.

2. Identify the source - Search for the website and search if it is came from the trusted website or media because there are websites that may copy others information and add some information on it.

3. Find other reports - Do not stick for only one report, for sure if it is real source there are other reports that you may find.

4. Check the author of the article - Most of the articles have its author at the bottom part and if the author is so famous or trusted person, then it can be a real article.

5. Always check the date - Always check the date, some people are being fooled because of not checking the date of the article.

Do not spread fake news, there is no good thing that we may have in fake news. Spreading it wont help the problem.
4413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: March 29, 2020, 10:36:24 AM
I am not sure whether this is the right place to ask this question. Mods please move it to right topics.

Since corona virus has been declared as an medical emergency. why not we as a community donate some of our Bitcoins to help those suffering.

I need some good individuals who can help me to help those needy.

What I plan is very simple:

1 we collect Bitcoin.
2 we should know someone who can convert Bitcoin tol local fiat.
3 we then ask them to transfer that money to the needy or send foods and other necessary items to them.

If you think you can help me in this cause then do DM me.

Let's do it.

What do you think?

Please do not reply for the sake of signature campaign. I am serious and want to help those who need help.
Actually that thought is well good, helping other people is in time of crisis is a real virtue, there are so many affected people by the virus, in a ways that there are some who can't even buy some foods because of being unemployed because of having a community quarantine in some areas. Those poor people are those who will be hungry while being quarantine because of lack of money to buy some foods. So this thread is really good to help them, but I think that there will be a person that will donate money to you because of trust issues. Especially if you are not that authorized people.
4414  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: December 08, 2019, 04:57:05 PM
KYC is becoming more and more required in crypto now, and there is a possibility that within the next 2 years crypto wont be available as it is now without KYC and even harder regulations, i do so much hope that it don't come to that, it will kill the basic idea of crypto.
It is definitely a problem right now and as you say it is probably going to become an even bigger problem in the future but that is not going to kill the idea behind cryptocurrencies, what we need is more people to accept cryptocurrencies directly as a payment and that only is going to happen with more adoption, but once that happens those regulations are going to become meaningless because you will be able to use your coins directly to buy anything that you want without having to go through KYC.

One of the major problems today in using cryptocurrency authentication and reliability of the data, crypto has money involve that you must to consider the validation of the users. KYC is one of the most significant needs to make sure both parties are safe from being a scam. To make sure the security of both users, they must need to submit validated information to make the transaction happen, but commonly, they hire a middleman to handle the transaction, but there's an additional payment for this kind of action.
4415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: December 07, 2019, 04:20:02 PM
So Everybody like to talk about winning and profits.... But traders honestly how much You are losing?  Daily weekly Monthly?

Im sure the Beginners lose coz of FOMO.
I lost more than half a bitcoin in just a single mistake in less than a few minutes on day a few weeks back.
I used to do margin trading on bitmex and it was just a usual day for me but on that day I was outside my house and didn't had access to internet and I had a few of my longs in place right before leaving the house. But when I got back in the evening I was shocked to see the price below my liquidation price and all my bitcoins earned from the past month were gone.
Recently, cryptocurrency users have expressed a negative opinion on Bitcoin trading.  Perhaps traders began to make less profit due to the current situation in the cryptocurrency market.  I am just starting to study trading, but it seems to me that I will use other cryptocurrencies for scalping, especially those that have a lower rating , the no bitcoin , but better rates for the day.

In trading, you must think of the possibility that you will lose income and prepare your self when it comes. Trading is all about taking the risk of your money and your self. If you want to trade it is better if you have initial investment if you are a newbie in trading to know how does the transaction works, and how you will earn income by just trading for a small amout. There is a short term trading and long term trading, in short term trading you are just trading daily to get income but it does not gives a large income, next is the long term trading that you will invest your money and holds the coin for a long term and wait for the right time that the price goes up, in my last trade I already lost a twenty dollars because of the price of the bitcoin goes down and to make sure that my money is life I already pull out to avoid lose of money.
4416  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: December 07, 2019, 03:40:28 PM
You care about unemployment but don't care about your loved ones being in trouble because of those middle men ?
It's no rocket science that these middle men (i.e the bankers) have been troubling us since ages.
Now since there will be no middle men, these people won't be able to trouble us anymore.
You talk about life but my friend, you must look at life from a different perspective.

Middlemen are part of each transaction; this commonly happens to the smaller business to avoid having scams and illegal transactions. They are responsible for handling both parties to secured they are safe on the business they want to do. In banking always there's a  middleman that handles the transaction of the customer and verifying the information of both parties to avoid of having misinformation. Today this happens on the small business if they want to buy something or to sell because to secured their selves and the items they have they must hire a middle man that handles both of the things they have and to assure there's no threat for them.
4417  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: December 05, 2019, 04:23:37 PM
Good question and I am scared to give a clear answer to this. all Bitcoin holders want to know what is going to happen to Bitcoin. I think Since as Bitcoin market is one of the most volatile we often see some price fluctuations. Bitcoin has already fallen to $3,500 and raised to $14,000. Now the bitcoin rate is $7,200. If we could see the repeat of the last two rallies, Bitcoin could rise to $60,000 before crashing 85% again.

However, today’s crypto market is far different from the ones in 2013 and 2015. Now capitalization of Bitcoin reaches 200 billion USD. It's far larger than in 2013, it was about 1 billion USD. a lot has been changed. in general, I suppose Bitcoin won't become a mainstream payment mechanism, but it will remain a good hedging investment.
You have full right to share your opinion with other members. Either they will agree or disagree, they cannot do anything more than these. Those who believe in bitcoin are going to stay with it regardless of how much alone they become and people that are against bitcoin would welcome lies. Bitcoin is the future of money and all the coins are going to be ruled by it forever. It has the brightest future of all assets too.

The price of the bitcoin today is dump because form the beginning of the year the bitcoin shows a reasonable price on the graph but when the end of the year the cost of the bitcoin goes down, and that was not a good many investors pull out their coins into the different wallet. They know it will lower lows, I think for the coming year the price of the bitcoin will rise for the second month of 2020 because this is the peak season of the bitcoin. Hopefully, many traders want to earn profit but today, it was a long term investment.
4418  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: December 04, 2019, 09:18:46 PM
I think because libra is a stable coin with a price of $ 1, it cannot be used for trading. Then I include people which is not active
on facebook, then there is no reason for me to use libra coin. In my opinion libra will be very useful for Facebook ads users, they
will be easy to make payments if using libra coin. So libra will be better if used as a digital currency, because the price is stable.
looks flat at first, but will develop into something more interesting.

if finally in one of the premium fb ads it says "buy bitcoin with libra through an exchange in your country" then obviously libra will be traded and its function will indirectly be the same as usdt, I think Mark also does not want to waste this opportunity. I only question how their circulation can develop freely in certain countries, let alone related to payments, this will damage the principles that exist in banks because they have been represented by libra.

We all know that Facebook will release a new coin that we called Libra, and they want to create this for improving the community of the cryptocurrency this project will release in 2020. Many people now are trying to support the use of libra, but still, it depends on the market price because people want to have a profitable coin than another altcoin.
4419  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: December 03, 2019, 01:35:24 PM
I hope my country is included in the list to be one of the countries that also want to test digital assets next year, even though I know my country is a lagging country, but the issue of digital payments has spread in my country, digital payments here do not use blockchain technology so I doubting its safety, maybe with this the government in my country wants to test digital assets in the next year using blockchain technology

One of the improvements in the third world country is the adapting of using cryptocurrency in the first place just some states have just supported the use of crypto because they know it has potential will grow in the future. One of the most prominent countries that accept today the use of crypto is the china one of the most famous and most influential countries of all time, I think they want to adapt and line with the highest countries like singapore. There's a lot of benefits in using crypto, fast transaction and secured and less hassle in queue lines.
4420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 03, 2019, 12:37:57 PM
If you're a beginner mate i'll tell you this, trading is very risky it would be better to try some dummy money i think there are websites out there that teaches you how to trade or lend money for practicing. Dont be like me, who traded without any knowledge about trading and buying stuff that's basically shitcoin then loss now im stuck and still waiting for a pump.

When you are the first time in trading better to do your research how do the process and trading works because many beginners are fails on their trade and scared to try again because they think it is just all for investment then wait for earning money. Trading has a lot of techniques and knowledge required; if you want to learn more in trading, it is better to ask an expert or a person who has a lot of experience in trading because you will learn by their skills and techniques. Soon you will explore your techniques to win all of the trade and get a lot of profit.
